Abstract

Jakarta faces a serious flood threat due to a combination of sea level rise, land subversion due to groundwater exploitation, and extreme rainfall. The Giant Sea Wall project is proposed as a solution to reduce annual economic losses of Rp 2.1 trillion, while protecting the city from flash floods and river floods, as well as supporting the development of coastal business and tourism areas. However, this project is faced with major challenges, such as funding needs that require innovation in the form of Green Financing and public-private partnerships, social resistance due to lack of community involvement, as well as ecological impacts such as the loss of mangrove habitat and disruption of sedimentation patterns. Global studies, such as Delta Works in the Netherlands, highlight the importance of ecosystem-based approaches and integrated design to ensure sustainability. The success of this project depends on the integration of mangrove restoration, the use of advanced technology, inclusive policies, and the active involvement of local communities to ensure equitable socio-economic impact as well as long-term sustainability.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the sources, patterns, and methods of interpretation in the book Tafsir Al-Muẓhiri by Qadi Ṡanaullah Panipati, with a special focus on Surat An-Nur. Qadi Ṡanaullah Panipati is an influential scholar in India who has extensive knowledge in various Islamic disciplines, including tafsir, hadith, and fiqh. In this study, the sources of interpretation are divided into two categories, namely primary sources that include the Qur'an, hadiths, and the opinions of companions and tabi'in, and secondary sources that function to enrich the understanding of interpretation. The general method of interpretation used in this book is the tahlili method, where Qadhi Muhammad compiles the tafsir based on the order of the letters and groups the issues that have a related meaning. This study also identifies several special methods applied in interpretation, such as the explanation of makki and madani, reasonable verses, and the use of the terms "mas'alah" and "Faidah" that are characteristic of the interpretation.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a systematic review of the Australian Mathematics Curriculum with a focus on its context, content and implementation process, and evaluate its relevance in global mathematics education. Through a literature review approach, this study collected and analyzed relevant literature on curriculum development, teaching strategies and challenges in the implementation of the Australian Mathematics Curriculum, comparing it with curricula in other countries. The research method used is a literature review, by examining academic sources including journal articles, books, research reports from the last 10 years, and official documents related to the mathematics curriculum in Australia and other countries. The data collected was then thematically analyzed to identify strengths and weaknesses in the curriculum approach, and to relate the findings to the global context. The results showed that. 1) context description; The Australian Mathematics Curriculum is driven by an inclusive and competency-based national education policy, with an emphasis on developing critical thinking skills, problem solving, and the use of technology in learning. 2) Description of curriculum content includes three main strands: Number and Algebra, Measurement and Geometry, and Statistics and Probability, which are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of mathematics, with a progressive and graduated approach from primary to secondary levels. 3) Process Description; the implementation of the curriculum involved inquiry-based teaching, problem solving, and technology integration, despite facing challenges related to teacher training, infrastructure, and access gaps in rural and remote areas.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has a strategic role in shaping the character of students with the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin paradigm which involves theological, social, and humanitarian dimensions. This research aims to explore the integration of Rahmatan lil 'Alamin values in PAI through this approach. The method used is literature research with the main sources of Qur'an verses, books, and relevant scientific articles. The results of the study show that the Rahmatan lil 'Alamin paradigm can be applied through the development of curriculum, teaching materials, and teaching methods that emphasize compassion, tolerance, social justice, and respect for diversity. PAI plays a role not only in shaping religious students, but also humanists, with a global awareness of the role of Islam in world peace. This study makes a significant contribution to the development of a holistic approach to PAI that is relevant to current social and global challenges.

Abstract

This research explores the digitization of the traditional Karo wedding event through the implementation of a virtual tour. The study aims to preserve and promote Karo cultural heritage by utilizing digital technology, allowing a broader audience to experience the rich traditions of Karo weddings remotely. By leveraging virtual reality and immersive digital tools, this research analyzes the potential of virtual tours to both educate and engage users, fostering a deeper understanding of cultural values. The findings suggest that the digitization process can enhance cultural preservation efforts and provide new opportunities for global exposure while maintaining the authenticity of the traditional event.

Abstract

This study is an experimental study that aims to determine the effectiveness of the Phonemic Segmentation instruction method on Phonemic Awareness in children with Speech Delay in children aged 5-6 years. This research design uses One-group Pretest-posttet group. The sample of this study involved 16 subjects who live in Jakarta and pre-school learning group. Data collection techniques obtained from the results of Pretest and posttest scores. The analysis technique used includes Shapiro Wilk normality test and Wilcoxon statistical test which is processed using SPSS version 23. The results of the analysis show that the significance value is 0.001 <0.005, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted or it can be concluded that there is a difference in Phonemic Awareness before intervention and after intervention in children with Speech Delay. The results showed that the average value increased by 41% which means that Phonemic Awareness in children with Speech Delay increased after the Phonemic Segmentation Instruction method was given.

Abstract

Stunting is a child less than 5 years old who has a weight and height less than their age or more than minus 2 standard deviations from the WHO growth and development curve. The problem of stunting has long-term effects related to impaired cognitive function and academic achievement. This long-term effect can cause stunted children to experience motor and cognitive problems, thereby disrupting their physical and neurocognitive capacity. The growth and development of children under 5 years is influenced by macro and micro nutrition. Micronutrient deficiencies such as vitamin A, zinc, vitamin D and Fe are one of the important causes of stunting. These micro and macronutrients can be found in standardized formula milk. The aim of this research is to combine changes in weight and height in stunted children with malnutrition given formula milk for 3 months. This research method is experimental using the paired T test. The result is a P value <0.5, which means that there is a significant effect of giving PDK milk on weight and height gain in children aged 1-5 years with stunting and malnutrition.

Abstract

Head injuries are among the most common types of trauma encountered in emergency departments. Many patients with severe brain injuries die before reaching the hospital; data shows that nearly 90% of pre-hospital trauma-related deaths involve brain injuries. Among patients receiving medical care, approximately 75% experience mild brain injuries, 15% moderate, and 10% severe. About 10% of ED patients with head injuries suffer from severe head trauma. Patients with severe head injuries are unable to follow simple commands, even after cardiopulmonary stabilization. These patients are at the highest risk of significant morbidity and mortality. This paper discusses the case of a 21-year-old male diagnosed with severe head injury accompanied by multiple open fractures. Based on the findings, the patient requires emergency management for severe trauma, including craniotomy and debridement. Comprehensive monitoring and evaluation will subsequently be conducted in the intensive care unit. Additionally, the patient and their family will be provided with education regarding the condition to help them understand the potential risks of recurrent injuries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment and organizational climate on employee collaboration, with work culture as a mediating variable at the Currency Management Department of Bank Indonesia. A quantitative approach was applied, and data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results indicate that the work environment and organizational climate have a significant positive effect on work culture. Furthermore, the organizational climate significantly affects employee collaboration, while the work environment does not have a direct significant impact. Work culture plays a crucial role as a mediator, strengthening the relationship between the work environment and organizational climate on employee collaboration. This study emphasizes the importance of fostering a supportive work culture to enhance collaboration within organizations.

Abstract

This study was conducted to obtain empirical evidence of the influence of guest experience on guest satisfaction at Hotel Majapahit Surabaya Managed by AccorHotels. The research sample consisted of 105 respondents who were drawn using the purposive sampling technique. The respondents were guests who had stayed at Hotel Majapahit Surabaya Managed by AccorHotels. The research hypothesis was tested using multiple linear regression analysis techniques with the help of SPSS version 23. In this study, the dependent variable is guest experience, consisting of 3 components, namely Service product, Servicescape and Service Delivery System, and the independent variable is guest satisfaction which is measured by a likert scale of 1 to 5. The results of this study prove that: 1) overall guest experience has an effect on guest satisfaction, 2) Servicescape has a positive and significant effect on guest satisfaction and. 3) Service products and Service Delivery System have no effect on guest satisfaction.
