Abstract

This research is case study on how the turnaround strategy to growth strategy. The phenomenon is stagnant to declining condition on fitness business in Jakarta city. The objective of research is evaluate the condition of stagnant market of membership Fitness business in South Jakarta Indonesia. The method of this research is the Cause-effect examines the correlation and effect between two or more variables. The author carries out the research by using quantitative descriptive approach with cause-effect method using simple and multiple regression. The author finds that there are correlations and effects of independent variables such as product, price, location, promotion, people, process and physical evidence to customer loyalty. The result of this research shows that marketing mix variable such as product, price, place, promotion, people, process and physical evidence partially have significant effect to customer loyalty. The author find that managing people is very important as the front liner and as the main of the strategy.

Abstract

The research objective is to determine the effect of ROE, EPS, and DAR on stock prices. This study took a sample of the ceramic, porcelain, and glass sub-sector industrial companies listed on the IDX with an observation period from 2015-2019. The analytical method uses quantitative descriptive with secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Data collection using the documentation method. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression. The results of this study indicate that there was a simultaneous significant influence between EPS, ROE, and DAR variables on stock prices in the ceramic, porcelain, and glass sub-sector industry. The EPS variable had a partially significant effect on stock prices, while the ROE and DAR variables did not have a partially significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

Multikultural adalah keberagaman budaya masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menciptakan suatu kenyamanan dalam membentuk persatuan dan kesatuan yang utuh. Keberagaman budaya yang ada di Indonesia itu sangat banyak, begitu pula dengan Pondok Pesantren Tarbiyatul Muallimin Al-Islamiyah (TMI) Putra Al-Amien Prenduan, sehingga dengan keragaman budaya yang dibawa oleh para santri harus di hilangkan sejenak, karena harus mengikuti sistem pendidikan dan kebudayaan yang berada di Al-Amien prenduan, hal tersebut menuntut para santri untuk beradaptasi secara baik dalam budaya yang ada di pesantren Al-Amien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah agar bisa tahu tentang cara-cara yang dilakukan El-Psika untuk mengatasi keragaman budaya santri yang ada di Al-Amien, dan bisa membimbing mereka agar bisa tahu budaya yang ada di Al-Amien. Peneliti menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik berupa teknik wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dalam pengambilan datanya. Adapun teknik pengecekan keabsahan data yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan triangulasi. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut adalah santri yang masih baru harus bisa beradaptasi dengan budaya yang berada di Al-Amien, karena Al-Amien sudah mempunyai aturan-aturan yang wajib diikuti oleh semua santri. Mengenai tentang strategi El-Psika jikalau menangani suatu kasus dari seorang santri yaitu dengan melakukan penyadaran, pemantauan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut

Abstract

Matematika penting diajarkan pada semua jenjang pendidikan, mulai dari sekolah dasar sampai perguruan tinggi. Pembelajaran matematika tidak cukup diajarkan dengan mencatat dan contoh-contoh saja, akan tetapi harus diikuti dengan mengerjakan latihan-latihan tentang materi yang sudah diajarkan. Kurikulum 2013 mengamatkan untuk mengintegrasikan ICT dalam pembelajaran, salah satunya pada materi matriks. Matriks merupakan salah satu materi matematika yang dirasakan sulit oleh siswa, siswa cenderung mengalami kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal yang berkaitan dengan matriks. Hal ini disebabkan guru hanya memberikan contoh-contoh saja dan kurangnya menggunakan latihan-latihan dalam pembelajaran. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang sesuai dalam masalah ini adalah model pembelajaran yang dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep yaitu model pembelajaran Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP). Model pembelajaran MMP merupakan suatu program yang didesain untuk membantu guru dalam hal efektivitas penggunaan latihan-latihan agar siswa mencapai peningkatan pemahaman konsep. Pelaksanaan model pembelajaran MMP dapat lebih maksimal dengan memanfaatkan ICT dalam pembelajaran seperti software GeoGebra, namun hingga saat ini belum tersedia ide dan cara mengajar yang mengintegrasikan ICT dalam pembelajaran matematika yang dapat digunakan guru. Sedangkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran yang mengintegrasikan ICT masih terbatas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembelajaran yang valid, praktis dan efektif. Model pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model Plomp yang terdiri atas tahap investigasi awal, tahap perancangan, dan tahap penilaian. Subjek ujicoba dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPA MAN 2 Subulussalam. Berdasarkan hasil pengembangan diperoleh perangkat pembelajaran Model MMP berbantuan Software GeoGebra dikatakan valid terlihat dari hasil validasi menunjukkan kreteria valid. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dikatakan praktis terlihat dalam rekomendasi validator bahwa perangkat pembelajaran dapat digunakan dengan sedikit revisi dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran rata-rata 5 tergolong kriteria sangat baik. Perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan dikatakan efektif terlihat dari rata-rata aktivitas on task siswa baik, rata-rata aktivitas siswa juga baik, adanya peningkatan skor tes formatif, guru dan siswa memberikan respon positif terhadap penggunaan perangkat pembelajaran di kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran model MMP berbantuan software GeoGebra yang terdiri atas materi ajar, Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP), Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) dan Tes Hasil Belajar (THB) memenuhi kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif.

Abstract

Discipline character is the awareness that arises from the innermost inner self of humans to follow and obey the rulesnd also legal vakues that apply in the unit of the environment they occupy. The Bahjatur Roghibiin integrated Salaf Islamic Boarding Scool is a place to educate good discipline character see from the attitudes and abilities of the students. In this study to implementation of disciplinary character of the students in integrated salaf Islamic boarding school Bahjatur Roghibiin Kudus. This study uses a qualitative research approach with case study rsearch type. The results of study stated that salaf education found by the researchers in the recitation activities is an activity that refers to the “ kitab kuning” and uses several methods such as “bendongan or wetonan” memorization,” sorogan” and “batsul al-masail” which are used in each activity.

Abstract

This research is to face learners’ obstacles in speaking English. Researcher used an approach to teach speaking skill. Role play is strategy done by researcher that can be used to overcome 13 local guides English communication problem. This research belongs to classroom action research that uses the technique to teach speaking to the local guides in Kulon Progo by using role play as activity in learning process. This research needed two cycles that include. That was started by conducting pre-test. There were five steps in conducting action research such as planning, acting, observing, implementing and reflecting in each cycle. Those cycles showed local guides’ improvement in speaking English. Learners also showed their improvement in speaking English that can be seen by five speaking acpects. Five aspects of speaking which well improved such as fluency, dictation, pronunciation, intonation and grammar. The improvement was analized by comparing different score between pre-test and two upcoming cycles. The increase of speaking aspect score was seen from the comparion of pre-test to the cycle 1. It was obtained 3.08. While the obtained score of comparion between cycle 1 and cycle 2 was 5,385. It showed improvement score from each cycle of local guides English communication.

Abstract

Kepopuleran media sosial instagram membuat para pelaku bisnis mendapatkan peluang yang efektif untuk mempromosikan produk dari usahannya. Trizara Glamping adalah salah satu akomodasi yang memanfaatkan instagram sebagai media promosi. Trizara glamping mengulas fasilitas glamping, produk yang dimiliki, berbagai promosi penjualan, dan segala aktifitas tamu yang dilakukan di instagram. Metode penelitian yang digunakan penulis yaitu metode penelitian kualitatif. Penelitian ini menganalisis mengenai pengaruh media sosial instagram terhadap keputusan tamu menginap di glamping Trizara Resort dengan variabel bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah media sosial instagram (X) yang terdiri dari beberapa dimensi yaitu Hastag (X1), Geotag (X2),Follow(X3), Share (X4), Like (X5), Komentar (X6), Mention (X7), sementara variabel terikat dalam penelitian ini adalah Keputusan Tamu Menginap (Y) yang terdiri dari Pengenalan Masalah, Pencarian Informasi, Evaluasi Alternatif, Keputusan Pembelian, Prilaku Pasca Pembelian. Responden penelitian ini adalah tamu keluarga, individu, dan grup. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara umum Media sosial Instagram terhadap keputusan tamu menginap di Trizara Glamping, kategori baik. Dengan menggunakan uji atau pengujian secara parsial dimensi geotag,follow,share,like dan mention memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan sedangkan dimensi hastag dan komentar tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan. Pengujian dengan menggunakan uji F secara simultan atau bersama-sama seluruh dimensi Media sosial Instagram berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap keputusan tamu menginap.

Abstract

Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) menemukan bahwa dari tahun 2006 hingga Agustus 2016, tercatat sedikitnya 37 kasus korupsi yang terkait dengan perguruan tinggi dengan 12 pola korupsi di perguruan tinggi, diantaranya: korupsi dalam pengadaan barang dan jasa menjadi modus yang paling banyak digunakan, korupsi dana penelitian dan dana beasiswa mahasiswa, praktik korupsi dengan menggunakan pola suap juga umum ditemukan, korupsi dana hibah atau CSR, korupsi anggaran internal perguruan tinggi, korupsi penjualan aset milik perguruan tinggi, dan korupsi dana Sumbangan Pembinaan Pendidikan (SPP) mahasiswa (ICW: 2016). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penegakan peraturan, keefektifan pengendalian internal, asimetri informasi, kesesuaian kompensasi, keadilan procedural, budaya etis manajemen dan mengetahui pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap fraud di perguruan tinggi negeri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil sampel pegawai di Politeknik Negeri Pontianak, Politeknik Negeri Ketapang dan Politeknik Negeri Sambas dengan metode penyebaran kuesioner purposive sampling. Pegawai terdiri dari tenaga pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya variabel kesesuaian kompensasi yang berpengaruh terhadap kecenderungan kecurangan (fraud) pada pegawai PTN di Kalbar. Sedangkan variabel-variabel lainnya tidak berpengaruh.

Abstract

The challenge of the nation in the future in facing global competition in order to create a world-class bureaucracy in 2025, we must improve a lot, starting from reforming into ourselves. Departing from there was to inspire the author to write an article related to excellent service that must be given by every public servant is no exception in BPSDM Bali Province. Bali Province BPSDM Office as an institution that has certified A certification for the implementation of Pre-service Training, A is also for Leadership training both Pim 3 and Pim 4, while for Pim 2 Training is still at level B. Besides that BPSDM Bali Province in organizing Leadership Training is based on the thematic of tourism. This provided a stimulus to all prospective Pim participants from all over Indonesia to get the opportunity as participants. Departing from the accreditation owned by BPSDM Bali Province, all components involved in it must also be ensured to have quality that prioritizes excellent service quality. So, the question is .”.what is the quality of service at BPSDM Bali Province?” The answer is not yet optimal. This situation must be overcome immediately by finding a solution. Every complaint raised by the training alumni is a trigger for the institution to immediately find a way out. Increasing the competency of public service actors must be done for the realization of excellent service. The improvement referred to starting from the increase in cognitive (knowledge), phsycomotoric (skill) and affective (attitude) must continue to be done in accordance with their respective fields of work. Increasing competency can be done either through singakat worshop to the implementation of the education which takes longer according to the needs. The availability of hardware and software is no less important, especially during the era of the industrial revolution

Abstract

This research aims to find out if work motivation (x) affects the performance of employees (y) sales people at Harris Hotel & Conventions Kelapa Gading. This research includes quantitative research using validity tests, reliability, classic assumption tests, simple linear regression and determination coefficient tests. The sample in this study amounted to 30 respondents with saturated sample techniques, which is the technique of sampling when all members of the population are relatively small, fewer than 30 people or studies who want to generalize with very small mistakes. Another term of saturated sample is census, where all members of the population are sampled. The data collection techniques used are observation methods and questionnaires. The results of the study that Work Motivation had a significant effect supported by the dimensions of Physical Needs and Self-Actualization Needs that had a significant influence on the Performance of The Maid with a simple linear regression equation value of Y = 3,196 + 0.226 . The advice given to the company is to conduct a briefing to the sales people of Harris Hotel & Conventions Kelapa Gading in developing work motivation and maintaining and improving the performance of the work that has been given.
