Abstract

The competition among scientists in providing the best need of mobile energy in society has been spread worldwide. This short communication shares a newly simple invention about thin battery with its voltage control simply adjusted by bending it. The changing in battery voltage is quite fast only in few seconds and very sensitive according to the mechanical bending treated into it. Furthermore, the thin battery was fabricated to be water resistant so that it can be applied under water with special technology purposes. This invention is a new beginning for flexible thin battery (FTB) technology which can be implemented in many different activities of daily life such as integrated technology use, medical energy supports, and education smart tools.

Abstract

Sasi is a culture that is still practiced and preserved in Maluku province in general and in Babar islands in particular until today. Sasi is a form of prevention of taking natural resources both land and sea within a certain period to let them grow and develop. The Babar islands are known for two types of Sasi, the traditional and the church. Currently, the implementation of Sasi is more dominated by the church – the traditional Sasi is rarely implemented. Sasi provides some benefits both to the environment and community. These benefits include preserved natural resources before harvest, economy increase, public appreciation encouragement, build-up social interaction, and prevention of theft. The long-term application of Sasi consistently will develop positive values of each member in the community, such as (1) appreciation to the environment, (2) devoted to custom rules, and (3) intimacy and mutual share.

Abstract

The earthquake is one of the natural disasters that is destructive and claimed lives at a certain magnitude and depth. Indonesia is an earthquake-prone area because it is in the area of major tectonic plates. Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat is one of the 34 provinces in Indonesia which is earthquake prone. In this research, earthquake grouping will be carried out in the Province of Nusa Tenggara Barat using the K-Means cluster approach. Furthermore, using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test the type of distribution is determined for each group variable resulting from the cluster process. The data used was the 2018 earthquake data in West Nusa Tenggara Province, sourced from the USGS earthquake catalog. The software used in this research process is SPSS, GMT, and Matlab, respectively. The results of this study are expected to be used as a reference for the Government of Nusa Tenggara Barat Province and surrounding areas related to earthquake disaster mitigation, especially evaluation of spatial and regional.

Abstract

We will discuss a simple multitasking philosophy based on a close link among four (4) groups of scientific findings from the complicated forests, the shallow or deep seas, and the small islands future technologies, as well as its dramatically impacts in Maluku province economy. The results are then compared to world high multitasking technology system based on our proposed philosophy linked to biodiversity called as multitasking philosophy in diversity (MPD). The detail of simple explanations of such complicated multitasking diversity is presented. While the multitasking impacts in diversity of two to three different multidisciplinary fields are highlighted in a simple way step by step. This novel MPD has been analyzed to be able to increase the Maluku economy as large as 75%.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research, which carried out to describe the development of students' speaking abilities as the effect of using the point counterpoint method. This research has been carried out in semester 5 (five) in academic year 2019/2020. The population of this study is the students of the German Language Study Program, while the selected sample is the 5th semester students in total 30 people. The procedure of this research was carried out in cycles, starting from planning, observation and reflection. Research instruments are test and non-test. The results of cycle 1 indicate that students have not yet reached a minimum score or passing grade, on average score of 58.93. The results of the second cycle test show that results increased, namely on average score of 72.5. Overall, the results of this study indicate that using a point counterpoint method can improve students' speaking abilities, especially in creative thinking and argumentation. Thus, using this method in teaching is useful to support the achievement of speaking competency at a B1-GER level.

Abstract

In order to understand the core of universe, one finds out a principle of molecular electronic system (MES) in which the relationship among atoms starting from a molecular system in universe structure was based on the collaborative resistance interconnection among the nearest atoms in a molecular circuit of universe, for instance in galaxy-galaxy relationship. While the whole structure of a molecule works according to their electronic circuit system. This work is quite different from the mechanical system of atomic and chemical bonding vibrations among the nearest atoms in a molecule structure that came after the formation of MES. The profits of this newly invested knowledge will open the wide impacts of universe understanding in microscopic scale up to the supergiant expanded universe. It is marvelous to state that such simple understanding can explain a complicated GOD paradox and its optics

Abstract

This paper considers state feedback with decentralized structure for interconnected systems. The connection between subsystems is described by a directed graph. To design a decentralized controller, we use the information from its own subsystem and other subsystems based on the interconnection. Decentralized controller is defined as a solution of bilinear matrix inequality (BMI) problem, which is then solved by using the homotopy approach. Two numerical examples are performed to show validity of the design procedure

Abstract

As the number of world population reaches up to seven billion people, more complex problems will happen including broken living environmental system that is directly influenced the stress life of men. This systematic output is like the problem of aggregations and defects in material sciences identified well by physicists and nanotechnologist. As more and more smart questions are being ascended to fight against such negative impacts as well as unsolved problems in ongoing research works and its development, this paper presents a simple solution by showing a manner in such a way so that all the points of main problems and related obstacles can be guided in the truth way following by the salvation of many earthly people among the world complicated current problems and challenges. To simplify the answer and guidance for easy clarification, one took molecular electronics system (MES) of brain vitamins as the explanation for multitasking nanotechnology scientists who are in charge to carry out advanced research and its implementations in nanoscience and nanotechnology especially in exotics nanomaterials for smart nanochip fabrication. An integrated links among at least 3 different types and personalities of brain vitamins show a beautiful mind of their creator in nature of universe. The use of basic concept and principles of proposed electronic molecular system instead of mechanical or vibration system of molecules suggests that this technique is applicable for all various kind molecule structures. This idea of discovery of MES is very excellent to be applied to study many other healing system using different types of drugs.

Abstract

This novel research presents a theoretical work and its simple simulation as a breakthrough way to derive a mobile electricity apparatus with the weight of ~5 kg generated by an eternal gravity force on earth. The theoretical research was extracted in such a guide simply by incorporating statistical mechanics, classical mechanics and basic theory of electricity and magnetism. In the above-mentioned smart calculation, ones obtain the definition of a constant temperature particularly in isothermal enviromental nature. Furthermore, by solving the whole basic physics relationship with gravity source of power, the electrical energy formula was excerpted with the simplification through a Stamec-Gravitism: a simple theoretical study to inspire a prototype fabrication for mobile perpetual electricity generator. Furthermore, the work is sustained with its simulation results to find out the working physical parameters for normal use of alternating current (AC) electricity system with frequency of 50 Hz and electrical power of ~100 Watt for each proposed apparatus. This research suggests a bright future for the light mobile electricity generator for the needy and the poor in every different nations and tribes consisted of thousands of small islands because it does not need battery storage to work in any different conditions and weather so that such novel work can contribute in a large scale to mitigate natural disasters on earth by implementing it in all human being daily activities based energy uses.
