Abstract

Saat ini pandemi Covid-19 telah menyebar ke seluruh dunia, tidak terkecuali Indonesia. Dalam pemodelan matematika, penyebaran Covid-19 dapat digambarkan melalui model matematika epidemiologi SIRD (Susceptible, Infected, Recover, Death). Pertama model non-linier SIRD didiskritkan dan selanjutnya dilakukan prediksi puncak penyebaran Covid-19 dengan menggunakan metode Extended Kalman Filter (EKF). Dengan data aktual Infected, Recover, dan Death yang merupakan data harian, modifikasi EKF dapat memprediksi puncak infeksi Covid-19 untuk satu bulan kedepan. Simulasi dilakukan dengan 3 macam pembatasan pergerakkan pada masyarakat yaitu : tanpa adanya pembatasan (100%), 75%, dan 50% pergerakkan. Hasil prediksi dengan modifikasi EKF menunjukkan dengan dilakukan pembatasan pergerakkan 50% pada masyarakat di Indonesia dan Jawa Timur dapat mempercepat terjadinya puncak infeksi dengan jumlah individu terinfeksi lebih sedikit

Abstract

Surabaya is one of big cities in Indonesia. Since the number of industries in Surabaya is increasing, the level of air pollution in Surabaya is also increasing. To deal with this matter, procurement of measuring instruments has been carried out in several locations in Surabaya based on the level of emissions issued by motorized vehicles, but increasing the number of measuring instruments affects the cost significantly. Therefore, the estimation of air pollution will make it easier to determine the level of air pollution in Indonesia. Kalman filter a method to estimate the state variable by using a system model accompanied by a measurement model as the initial value that comprises the prediction stage and the correction stage. The results of this correction stage will be the estimation results. Then it will be compared with the data at some locations. The results obtained are quite accurate at the point of observation with a relatively small error.

Abstract

This paper considers state feedback with decentralized structure for interconnected systems. The connection between subsystems is described by a directed graph. To design a decentralized controller, we use the information from its own subsystem and other subsystems based on the interconnection. Decentralized controller is defined as a solution of bilinear matrix inequality (BMI) problem, which is then solved by using the homotopy approach. Two numerical examples are performed to show validity of the design procedure

Abstract

Meningitis is an infection of the lining of the brain caused by diffuse inflammation, and this condition is caused by viruses or bacteria that cause Meningitis. Prevention for this disease is still in the form of strengthening antibodies with vaccines. There is no significant compound to relieve or treat Meningitis patients. In previous studies, they got seven proteins vital to Meningitis. We continued to investigate the compounds associated with the seven proteins. We chose the in-silico process by utilizing data in an open database. We use several databases for the data collection process. After that, the compound data were extracted for bonding features and chemical elements using molecular fingerprints. We use two fingerprint methods, where both we combine with three types of combinations. The combined results produce three types of datasets with different matrix sizes. We establish the Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) method to form the classification model for the three datasets, select the best classification model, and compare it with other classification algorithms. The XGB model has better quality than the classification model of other algorithms. We used this model to predict and quantify compounds that strongly bind to seven vital meningitis proteins. The compound with the highest predictive score (we found more than 0.99) became a drug candidate to inhibit or neutralize Meningitis.

Abstract

Masih rendahnya kemampuan pelaku usaha dalam mengelola dan mengembangkan produk usahanya di Pangkah Wetan Gresik disebabkan terbatasnya pengetahuan tentang digitalisasi dan kemampuan dalam memasarkan produk secara online. Hal ini menjadi permasalahan yang dihadapi akibat terbatasnya literasi digital dalam menunjang kegiatan wirausaha berbasis potensi unggulan local. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi digital bagi para pelaku usaha UMKM dengan memanfaatkan fitur sosial media salah satunya Facebook Marketplace sebagai lapak jual online. Penjualan secara online dapat meningkatkan jumlah pelanggan dan meningkatkan omset. Metode pengabdian dilaksanakan melalui kegiatan pelatihan dengan pendekatan kooperatif-partisipatif. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan foto produk olahan diunggah dan dijual melalui Facebook Marketplace. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebanyak 62,5% sudah menginstall dan mencoba membuka dan mempraktekkan Facebook Marketplace serta rata-rata postest meningkat dari 5.4 menjadi 6.5 dari skor rata-rata pretest, artinya pemahaman peserta meningkat mengenai Facebook Marketplace setelah diadakan sosialisasi literasi digital. Kegiatan ini diharapkan untuk meningkatkan penjualan dan jangkauan dari pemasaran produk UMKM.

Abstract

The Small and Medium Industry (IKM) sector plays a crucial role in the economy, especially in absorbing labor. East Java Handicraft IKM are currently facing major challenges related to product marketing and branding. Rebranding was identified as an important key in increasing brand awareness and facing ever-evolving market dynamics. However, IKM often experience problems with knowledge and skills related to brands. Therefore, rebranding education and training is regarded as a solution to increase the competence of IKM. The objective of this activity is to enhance understanding of rebranding in accordance with brand strategy and create brand awareness through rebranding and brand awareness training. Through preparation, pretest, training, discussion, posttest, data analysis and evaluation methods, the results show that participants understand and master the rebranding strategy after the training. In conclusion, this training activity is effective in increasing understanding and rebranding skills as well as brand awareness for IKM.

Abstract

Patogen penyebab Meningitis menyebabkan peradangan pada selaput otak. Kondisi ini menyebabkan kondisi kronis jika dibiarkan dalam jangka waktu lama. Patogen Meningitis menyerang protein tertentu yang berkaitan langsung dengan fungsional selaput otak. Dengan mendeteksi protein signifikan dari Meningitis dapat kita dapat menganalisis lebih jauh untuk menemukan inhibitor dari patogen tersebut. Menemukan protein yang signifikan dengan menganalisis jaringan interaksi protein yang terlibat ketika meningitis menginfeksi. Data jaringan protein diolah untuk mendapatkan klaster protein yang signifikan. Data jaringan pada klaster terbaik digunakan untuk mencari protein tertentu yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan. Skor sigifikansi protein berdasarkan nilai karakterisktik simpul pada jaringan graf dengan mendapatkan nilai eigen dan vektor eigen. Nilai keseluruhan karakteristik diperoleh dari hasil perkalian vektor eigen dengan vektor karakteristik simpul yang menghasilkan nilai skalar. Kami menemukan protein yang paling signifikan terhadap Meningitis adalah TLR2, hal ini diketahui dari nilai keseluruhan karakteristiknya yang paling tinggi dibandingkan protein lainnya.

Abstract

Teknologi irigasi pintar adalah inovasi yang bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air dan pupuk dalam pertanian, khususnya di lingkungan greenhouse. Salah satu implementasinya dilakukan di Temuasri Greenhouse, pusat budidaya melon dengan sistem tabulampot, yang kini memanfaatkan smart irrigation untuk mengoptimalkan proses irigasi. Sistem ini bekerja dengan mengandalkan Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) dan Human-Machine Interface (HMI) yang memungkinkan penyiraman dan distribusi pupuk berjalan otomatis serta dapat dipantau secara real-time. Untuk memastikan sistem ini dapat diterapkan dengan baik, sebanyak 16 peserta dilibatkan dalam pelatihan mengenai instalasi, pengoperasian, dan pemeliharaan teknologi ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa penerapan smart irrigation mampu meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan air hingga 40% dan menghemat waktu kerja manual hingga 50%, sekaligus mengurangi kontak langsung selama proses penyiraman. Survei juga mencatat 84,72% peserta memberikan umpan balik sangat positif terhadap program ini. Dengan keberhasilan tersebut, implementasi smart irrigation diharapkan menjadi model pengelolaan irigasi berbasis teknologi yang berkelanjutan, membantu meningkatkan produktivitas, serta mendukung kualitas hasil pertanian di masa depan.

Abstract

Gait analysis is a crucial aspect of biomechanics and medical rehabilitation, used to detect movement disorders, assess therapy effectiveness, and understand human walking patterns. In Indonesia, gait research remains limited, with most data sourced from abroad, which may not reflect the characteristics of the local population. This study uses data from Vicon camera recordings that track marker movements on the subject's body and convert them into kinematic data in spatial coordinates, stored in Excel files. To support clinical applications, an efficient system is needed to manage gait data and present analysis results interactively. Therefore, a MongoDB-based gait data management system was developed due to its flexibility in handling unstructured data and scalability. The system was designed to preprocess gait data and display the results through an interactive Streamlit dashboard. The analysis involved calculating gait angle parameters, visualized in a gait cycle angle graph and analyzed statistically using mean and standard error to improve interpretation accuracy. Testing shows that the system can store data in an average of 1.52 seconds, retrieve it in 3.598 seconds, and render visualizations in 0.192 seconds, with high accuracy and only a 0.1-degree error between the input and output. This system effectively addresses the challenge of managing local gait data and supports comprehensive biomechanical analysis, enabling clinicians to make informed decisions regarding rehabilitation needs based on deviations from normal gait angle ranges.

Abstract

The increase in annual turnover in a drug distribution company reflects positive growth but is often accompanied by a significant increase in operating costs that can reduce profit margins if not managed efficiently. This study aims to optimize distribution costs using a transportation method approach by comparing three initial solution methods, namely Vogel's Approximation Method (VAM), Russell Approximation Method (RAM), and Northwest Corner Method (NWC). The study was conducted at a drug distribution company with three central warehouses serving four distribution branches, based on distribution data for December 2024, which was arranged in the form of a transportation table. From the calculation results, the VAM method produced the lowest total distribution cost of IDR23,426,407. Evaluation of this solution was carried out using the Steppingstone method and the Modified Distribution Method (MODI) to determine whether the solution was optimal. The evaluation results show that all opportunity cost values ​​are positive, which means that no additional iterations or re-allocations are required so that the solution from the VAM method can be stated as an optimal solution. The novelty of this study lies in the integration of three initial solution methods with two optimal solution methods in one drug distribution case study, which has not been widely discussed in an integrated manner in previous studies. These findings provide strategic contributions to more precise and efficient logistics decision-making and support the sustainable operational growth of pharmaceutical distribution companies.
