Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of quality of products, promotion and variety seeking towardbrand switchingSariayu cosmetic products in Padang. This research isdescriptive and qualitative research.. The population in this study was Padang city women who had used Sariayu cosmetic products. The sampling technique used is Purposive sampling with a total sample of 100 respondents.The type of data used is primary and secondary data. Thedata analysis technique used is multiple regression by using t test and F test. The analytical method used is path analysis using the SPSS version 21 program.The result of the research shows thatthere is a positive and insignificant influence between quality of products variables on brand switching behavior ofSariayu cosmetic products in Padang.Promotionvariableshas a positive and insignificant  effect to brand switching behavior ofSariayu cosmetic products in Padang. Abstract

The purpose of this research are to analyze : (1) The effect of entrepreneurial motivation on entrepreneurial intention public university student’s in Padang (2) The effect of family environment on entrepreneurial intention public university student’s in Padang. The type of this research is causative research. The population on this research is all of public university student’s in padang . The total sample of this research was 150 persons with online survey. The result of research shows that (1) Entrepreneurial Motivation has significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intention Public University Student’s in Padang (2) Family Environment has significant effect on Entrepreneurial Intention Public University Students in Padang. Entrepreneurial motivation and family environment have significant effect on entrepreneurial intention. For the future research is better to explore more about variable that can inluence entrepreneurial intention.Keyword : Entrepreneurial Motivation, Family Environment and Entrepreneurial Intention

Abstract

This study aims to know and prove how much the effect of Price and Word Of Mouth On The Purchase Intention Toshiba Brand Laptops Among Students From Padang State University. This type of research is causative. The population in this Students from Padang State University. The samples were taken using Cochran formula with 100 respondents. This sampling technique is based on non- probability sampling method. The type of data used in this study primary data. Data analysis technique using SPSS version 21.00. the result of this study indicate that: 1) Price has a positive significant effect on purchase intention, 2) Word of Mouth has a positive significant effect on purchase intention.Keywords: Price, Word of Mouth, Purchase Intention

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the influence of service quality and price on the satisfaction of Trans Padang bus passengers. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population in this study were all people in the city of Padang who had used Trans Padang services, Pasar Raya - Lubuk Buaya route. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection technique was using questionnaires and documentation. The sample technique used in this study was purposive sampling with a total sample of 100 respondents. The analytical method used is multiple regression analysis using the SPSS version 21 program. For hypothesis testing the study was conducted using data analysis through validity and reliability tests, normality test, multicollinearity, heteroscedicactivity, F test and statistical t test at α = 0.05. The results of this study indicate that 1) Service quality has a significant positive effect on the satisfaction of Trans Padang bus passengers 2) Price has a significant effect on the satisfaction of Trans Padang bus passengers. Keyword: service quality, price, and passenger satisfaction

Abstract

This study aims to examine (1) the effect of capital on the income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency (2) Effect of farming experience on the income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency (3) Effect of education level on income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency. (4) Effect of capital, farming experience and education level on the income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency. This type of research is classified as quantitative research. The population of this study is sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya sub-district, Agam district. The sample was determined based on the total sampling method, as many as 50 respondents. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires directly to the respondents concerned. Data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression with t test and F test. he results showed that (1) Capital has a positive and significant effect on the income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency (sig 0,000 <α = 0.05) with a magnitude of 19,164% (2) Farming experience has a positive and not significant effect on income Sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency (sig 0.360> α = 0.05) with a large influence of 0.923% (3) The level of education has a positive and insignificant effect on the income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency (sig 0.2333 > α = 0.05) with a magnitude of effect of 1.207%. Capital, farming experience and education level, together have a significant effect on the income of sweet corn farmers in Tanjung Raya District, Agam Regency (sig 0,000 at the level of α = 0.05) with the results of the analysis obtained Fcount 159.98> Ftable 2,807. Based on the results of the study, it is advisable for sweet corn farmers to increase the amount of capital and increase knowledge related to maize cultivation, so that the sweet corn farming business gets great results. Keywords : Income, Capital, farming experience, and level of education.

Abstract

The study aims to find out: (1) The relationship between PPLK scores and the interest in becoming a teacher, (2) The relationship between parents’ level of education with the interest in becoming a teacher, (3) the relationship of PPLK scores eith the level of parent’s education level are factors that influence students’ interest to become teachers. This can be seen from the value of PPLK obtained by students which is very satisfying and supported by a good educational background of parents, so the interest of students to become teachers will be good too. This type of research is correlational. From the results of this analysis it can be concluded that: (1) there is no significant relationship between PPLK scores and the interest in becoming a teacher in terms of sig. 0,223>0,05. (2) there is a negative and insignificant relationship between the level of education of parents and the interest in becoming a teacher in the 2015 economic education student FE UNP as seen from the Sig. 0,482> 0,05 and pearson correlation values of -0,074. (3) there is no significant relationship between PPLK scores with parents’ education level seen from the Sig. value of 0,884>0,05.Keywords : PPLK value, parental education level, interest in becoming a teacher

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the influence of adversity quotient and classroom climate on students' economic achievement. The type of this research are descriptive and associative. The population of this research are the tenth grade students of SMAN 3 Pariaman who study economic subjects and enrolled in academic year 2017-2018 which amounted to 192 students, the sample of this reasearch are 129 students. The sampling technique is done by Proportional Random Sampling. Questionnaire is used as a data collection tool. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that there was a significant positive effect between adversity quotient and classroom climate on students' economic achievement. Based on the results of the research, it was suggested for students to further increase adversity quotient and form a good classroom climate in learning in order to get a more optimal achievement. For the teachers, they are expected to pay more attention to the condition of students in learning, and for parents, they are expected to pay attention to the development of their children, so they can provide encouragement to students to remain eager in learning in order to get better learning achievement.Keyword: adversity quotient, classroom climate, learning achievement

Abstract

the purpose of this research is to know the influence of product, promotion, place,physical evidence, employee, process, productivity and quality to decision of tourist visiting at Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourist object. This type of research is causative. The population in this study is all tourists who visit the tourism object that is Pesisir Selatan. The number of research samples was determined based on Cochran formula of 100 people and was chosen by using accidental sampling technique. The data that are used are the primary obtained through the distribusion of questionnaires to selected tourists. The analytical method used is descriptive and quantitative analysis through path analysis. The results of this study indicate objek: 1) The product has significant influence on the tourist visiting decision on Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourism object, 2) Promotion has significant influence on the tourist visiting decision on Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourism object, 3) Place has  significant influence the tourist visiting decision at Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourism object, 4) physical evidence Place has  no significant effect on the tourist visiting decision at Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourist object, 5) Employees has significant influence on the tourist visiting decision on Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourism object, 6) Process has  no significant effect on the tourist visiting decision at Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourist object, 7) Productivity and quality significantly influence the decision of tourists visiting the Rumah Gadang Mande Rubiah tourist object.Keywords: Visiting Devisiting, Product, Promotion, Place, Physical Evidence, Employee, Process, Productivity and Quality.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out (1) the effect of educative interaction and learning discipline to ward student economic learning outcomes, (2) the effect of educative interaction to ward student economic learning outcomes, (3) the effec of learning discipline to ward  economic learning outcomes. This research is descriptive and associative. The population in this study were specialy for sports school students of class X MIPA and IIS in West Sumatra 4 High School (Sports Giftedness) with 97 students. The total sample is determined by Slovin formula and propotional random sampling. From this formula, 80 students were obtained as research samples. Data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The instrument of validity test uses Collected Item Total Colleration and for reliability testing using alpha coefficient formula. The prerequisite test is done by normality test, heterocedasticity test, and multicollinearity test. The technique used to analyze data is multiple linear regression analysis. Based on this study, it was found that (1) educative interaction and learning discipline had a positive and significant effect on the economic learning outcomes of class X students West Sumatra 4 High School (2) educational interaction had a positive and significant effect on the economic learning outcomes of class X students in West Sumatra 4 High School (3) learning discipline has a positive and significant effect on the economic learning outcomes of West Sumatra 4 High School. Keyword: educative interaction, student discipline, sport  school, learning outcomes

Abstract

The purpose of this study, to analyze the level of difficulty, difference in power and distractors in economics questions odd semester XII IPA and Social Sciences in 2018/2019. From the analysis of the level of difficulty, it can be seen that out of the 10 items, there are 8 items analyzed which do not fulfill the good items. This is because according to Arikunto (2009: 207) a good question is a matter that has a moderate level of difficulty (not too easy and not too difficult). So that the above questions do not meet the good questions. it can be seen that there are problems related to the power of different questions, where from the results of the analysis that the problem cannot distinguish smart students from stupid students. Of the 10 questions above 1 question whose classification is good, then 9 questions have bad classifications that are not compatible with the theory. While according to Arikunto (2009: 211) defines different power about a process capable of problems that distinguish between smart students and students who are stupid. Of the 10 items analyzed, there are 4 items that are not effective in carrying out their functions as distractors, this is because according to Sudijono (2012: 410). Definition of the purpose of the installation of distractors so that students who take the test of learning outcomes are many who are interested in choosing the answer correctly. It is known that all of the above questions meet the low deception because of less than 5% of students choosing the function of the distractor effectivenessKeyword : level of difficulty, different power and distractors
