Abstract

Pencahayaan dalam bidang fotografi merupakan hal yang utama dan sangat penting. Jenis dan variasi pencahayaan banyak ragamnya, termasuk teknik pencahayaan menggunakan sumber cahaya buatan (artificial light). Sumber pencahayaan buatan dalam fotografi diantaranya adalah sumber cahaya lampu kilat (flash light), lampu kilat digunakan sebagai sumber tambahan atau pengganti dari sumber cahaya alami (available light). Teknik Stroboscopic adalah salah satu variasi pencahayaan menggunakan lampu kilat, prosesnya melibatkan penggunaan kilatan cahaya yang berulang-ulang saat subjek fotografi bergerak dalam periode waktu tertentu. Cahaya yang berulang ini menciptakan efek yang menarik yang membeku secara berulang-ulang. Hal lainnya adalah memungkinkan seorang fotografer untuk menangkap gerakan dalam cara yang unik dan kreatif. Teknik ini sering digunakan untuk merekam aksi atau gerakan dengan jelas, karena kilatan cahaya yang berulang memungkinkan subjek terlihat dalam berbagai posisi selama periode waktu pemotretan. Misalnya, dalam fotografi olahraga, teknik Stroboscopic dapat digunakan untuk menangkap atlet dalam gerakan cepat seperti berlari atau melompat, begitu pula ketika seorang penari sedang pentas maka gerakannya bisa kita hentikan secara berulang-ulang namun masih dalam satu frame pemotretan Adapun latar belakang munculnya teknik stroboscopic adalah untuk menambahkan keunikan dan gaya baru dalam fotografi, selain menghadirkan aspek dinamis dan dramatis pada gambar. Hal ini memungkinkan fotografer untuk bereksperimen dengan efek gerakan dan waktu pemotretan yang tepat sehingga menciptakan foto yang unik dan menarik secara visual. Teknik ini memerlukan pemahaman yang baik tentang pengaturan kamera dan pencahayaan serta kreativitas dalam penggunaannya untuk mencapai hasil yang menarik dan diinginkan.

Abstract

This research aimed to measure the effectiveness of the Halal Digital Module in improving the halal knowledge of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) practitioners in West Java. Ten SME practitioners from Garut, Subang, Cianjur, Bogor, and Depok were involved in the evaluation process. A mixed-method approach was used to analyze the effectiveness. The evaluation was conducted by comparing the pretest and posttest scores of the practitioners and analyzing their feedback. T Test was used to analyze the significance. The results from the pretest and posttest indicated that the Halal Digital Module significantly improved practitioners' knowledge. However, based on the feedback analysis, the module still needs improvement, particularly in the areas of language, the number of questions in the test, and user convenience. The language used in the module was still confusing for some practitioners. The number of questions was excessive and unclear. In terms of convenience, the module performed well on laptops but poorly on Android-based cell phones. It was concluded that Halal Digital Module effectively improve halal knowledge of Small and Medium Enterprise Practitioner, but still need improvement.

Abstract

Currently, the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is one of the big challenges facing Indonesia. The changes that occur in this era encourage society to carry out relevant innovations. Pastry products are still the favorites of many people in Indonesia. However, most of the raw materials used in these products come from imports, which can have a negative impact on the national economy. Considering Indonesia's abundant wealth of local food ingredients, there is great potential to replace imported ingredients with local ingredients in patisserie products. However, literacy regarding the use of local ingredients in making pastry is still very limited. Apart from that, there are no adequate means of publication among students of the Polimedia culinary arts study program. Therefore, this research aims to develop a publication facility asset in the form of a digital module that innovates the use of local materials in making pastry. The data collection method uses descriptive quantitative with a Likert scale, a publication test is carried out using a form to determine the level of usefulness of preparing digital module assets that have been published for Polymedia Culinary Arts students. The results obtained from the publication of digital module assets were accepted by Polimedia Culinary Arts Students at 88.5%.

Abstract

Self-harm behavior or known as self-harm has become a phenomenon among college students. Self-harm actions carried out by students are caused by the inability to handle the problems faced, more than 70% of respondents stated that self-harm actions were caused by personal problems such as family problems and problems with partners. These self-harm actions cause various impacts, ranging from short-term impacts to long-term impacts which if not supported or handled properly, will disrupt the potential and life of students in the future. This study aims to determine the relationship between interpersonal communication from a psychological perspective with self-harm behavior among college students. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a data collection method using a survey in the form of a questionnaire. The questionnaire was developed by researchers from Schutz's interpersonal needs theory. The results show that interpersonal communication activities from a psychological perspective have a relationship with self-harm actions. Interpersonal communication that meets interpersonal needs in the indicators of inclusion, control, and affection of individuals with self-harm behavior can help change self-harm behavior for the better.

Abstract

The State Polytechnic of Creative Media, also known as Polimedia, is a state vocational higher education institution located in Jakarta. As a state vocational education institution, Polimedia participates in national admissions for new students, such as the National Selection for State Polytechnic Entrance (SNMPN), Joint Selection for State Polytechnic Entrance (SBMPN), the National Selection for State Higher Education Entrance (SBMPTN) specifically for applied bachelor's programs, and the Independent Exam conducted by Polimedia itself. The purpose of this research is to identify the marketing steps taken by Polimedia in recruiting prospective new students. This is closely related to the planning of the marketing communication concept implemented by Polimedia. The AIDA marketing communication model applied by Polimedia is very interesting to study in a research context. Through a qualitative approach and descriptive method, along with observation and in-depth interviews with sources, the steps Polimedia takes in implementing the AIDA concept can be understood. The result is an achievement for Polimedia, which has seen an increase in the number of prospective students wishing to enroll in Polimedia from year to year. More than 8,000 people compete for 2,000 seats at Polimedia—a significant impact. Keyword: Marketing Communication, Polimedia, AIDA, New Students
