Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the Indonesian University of Education is able to provide tourist attraction for tourists who are currently trending as sports tourism.. The method used in this research is the method of dexcoective, the sample taken is 30 people using accidental sampling. The data analysis techniques in this study use SWOT analysis by maximizing strength and Opportunity (oppurtunities), but can simultaneously minimize weakness (weaknesses) and threats (threaths). SWOT analysis considers internal environmental factors in the form of strengths and weaknesses and external environment in the form of opportunities and threats faced by a tourist attraction. The results of internal factors evaluation of internal strength/potential and weakness of service owned by the University of Indonesia Education are able to utilize the existing strength factors to be able to overcome the factors of weakness. So that the University of Indonesia Education has a strong service of Sport Tourism as a wasata attraction in the city of Bandung. The results of the authors analysis by using an external matrix is able to utilize opportunities and avoid threats. So that the University of Indonesia Education has a potential enough opportunity to redevelop its service. Author's suggestion is to take advantage of the strategic location of UPI, optimizing the potential of its facilities, developing UPI as a sports tourism area, and as an athlete training and education Center and sporting event organizers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan adanya tuntutan lulusan Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) yang harus sesuai dengan kompetensi di dunia kerja. Proses pembelajaran di sekolah dengan pelaksanaan praktek kerja industri (Prakerin) merupakan satu kesatuan yang saling mendukung dan link and match. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran Room Section diharapkan dapat menunjang kelancaran prakerin, terutama dalam mengerjakan pekerjaan di Room Division Hotel sebagai tempat melaksanakan prakerin bagi peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui : 1) Hasil belajar peserta didik yang berkaitan dengan penguasaan pengetahuan, sikap dan keterampilan room section; 2) Kompetensi peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan prakerin di hotel berdasarkan unjuk kerja; 3) Kontribusi hasil belajar Room Section terhadap kompetensi peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan prakerin di hotel; dan 4) Besarnya kontribusi hasil belajar Room Section terhadap kompetensi peserta didik dalam pelaksanaan prakerin di hotel. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode statistik inferensial. Populasi berjumlah 30 peserta didik kelas XI Program Keahlian Akimodasi Perhotelan SMK Negeri 15 Bandung yang telah melaksanakan prakerin di room division hotel dan menggunakan sampel total. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu tes untuk variabel X (hasil belajar room section) dan studi dokumentasi untuk variabel Y (kompetensi prakerin di hotel). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar room section pada peserta didik termasuk dalam kriteria cukup, kompetensi prakerin di hotel termasuk dalam kriteria tinggi, dan hasil belajar room section memberikan kontribusi yang rendah terhadap kompetensi prakerin di hotel, sedangkan selebihnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Simpulam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar room section memberikan sumbangan/kontribusi yang positif dan signifikan terhadap kompetensi prakerin di hotel.

Abstract

ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) is a major issue in the world of tourism, especially for the hospitality industry. The quality of human resources becomes essential aspects in order to face the AEC, therefore employee performance is very important to note the suitability those performance low can be influenced by some issues ability and motivation work employees. The aim of this research is to find out how the work ability and motivation give or affect the performance of employees di Hotel Isola. The method used in this research is explanatory survey method. Samples were frontline employees as much as 40 respondents by stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed by by using path analysis with SPSS V.22.0 The results showed that there is influence between the variables of work ability and variable work motivation on employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how preceptions, preference and stay decision  of syariah hotel guest in northern part of Bandung ((Hotel Noor, Hotel Narapati dan Hotel Darul Jannah). The method used in this research is quantitative methods. The population in this study were guest of syariah hotel in northern part of Bandung ((Hotel Noor, Hotel Narapati dan Hotel Darul Jannah). Sampling technique used in this method, while for calculating the amount of sample size using formula slovin. The number of respondent are 150 people. Probability sampling used as a technique sampling. Path analysis was used to analyze the result in this research. The result of this research showed thatstay decision influenced by the perception and preference. Perceptions  influenced  stay decision of syariah hotel guest more than preference variable.. The limited conditions of perceptions and preference will be impact to the low  stay decision  of guest. . In addition the research also showed that perceptions and preference  significantly influence stay decision.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profesionalitas karyawan dilihat dari persepektif kompetensi kantor depan di The Luxton Hotel Bandung. Metode pengumpulan yang dilakukan adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu dengan cara penyebaran kuesioner, observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dengan menggunakan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa bahwa secara umum kompetensi karyawan kantor depan di The Luxton Hotel Bandung dapat diklasifikasikan baik, hanya saja masih ada dimensi yang perlu diperhatikan, yaitu dimensi sikap. Dimana seorang karyawan dikatakan berkompetensi apabila karyawan tersebut dilandasi atas pengetahuan, keterampilan serta sikap kerja, sehingga profesionalitasnya masih diragukan. Masalah dalam penelitian: 1) Bagaimana pengetahuan karyawan kantor depan di Luxton Hotel Bandung?, 2) Bagaimana keterampilan karyawan kantor depam di Luxton Hotel Bandung? dan 3) Bagaimana sikap perilaku karyawan kantor depan di Luxton Hotel Bandung?. Saran yang diberikan untuk pemecahan masalah adalah: 1) Manager harus senantiasa membimbing dan memberikan hal – hal mengenai pengetahuan baru sesuai dengan bidangnya. Serta memotivasi dengan cara memberikan contoh yang baik agar karyawan termotivasi untuk mengasah pengetahuan baru. 2) Pihak manajemen dihimbau memberikan program – program pendidikan dan training yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan agar keterampilan dan kemampuan karyawan dalam bekerja jauh lebih baik lagi, salah satu nya seperti tentang pelatihan SOP yang berhubungan dengan kantor depan secara berkala dan sistematis. 3) Dimensi sikap ini sudah cukup tetapi belum optimal dan belum memenuhi harapan. Oleh karena itu penulis dapat memberikan saran kepada pihak manajemen agar memberikan kelas pelatihan dengan contoh materi pentingnya sikap dalam bekerja, menjelaskan tentang efek baik mempunyai sikap dalam bekerja yang baik dan menjelaskan efek buruk dari tidak mempunyai sikap yang baik pada saat bekerja

Abstract

Dendeng batokok is a processed culinary delicacy from West Sumatra or the Minang tribe that is made from beef or buffalo meat. The authors of this investigation substituted banana stems for beef. This study employs experimental research methodologies, with data gathered through observation, panelist evaluation, and a review of the literature. Meanwhile, the Organoleptic Test and Preference Test are being used for data analysis. The results showed that beef dendeng made from banana stems tasted similar to beef dendeng with higher nutritional value (calories, fat, and carbs) than beef dendeng with lower production costs.

Abstract

SSocial media has a role in an e-wom. Instagram is one of the social media with the most users today. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the dimensions of e-wom (intensity, valence of opinion, content) on Instagram on the decision to visit The Great Asia Afrika (TGAA) Lembang tourists. The method used in this study is verification and descriptive research methods. Population is visitors and sample determination uses a purposive tehnique with the criteria who have visited and followed TGAA's Instagram. Statistical method use multiple linear regression. The results of the study showed that the valence of opinion dimension was not significant on the decision of tourist visit. Simultaneously, the dimensions of E-WOM have a significant effect 55.60% and its can be interpreted that the effect of the E-WOM dimension of Instagram is effective as a social media platform on the decision to visit TGAA tourists.

Abstract

Keputusan berkunjung dipengaruhi berbagai faktor, salah satunya adalah electronic word of mouth (e-wom). Sosial media memiliki peranan dalam electronic word of mouth. instagram merupakan salah satu sosial media dengan pengguna terbanyak saat ini setelah facebook. Dimensi electronic word of mouth adalah intensity, valence of opinion, content. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas dimensi e-wom (intensity, valence of opinion, content) pada instagram terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan Kawasan Perkampungan Budaya Betawi (KPBB) Setu Babakan sehingga dapat memberi kontribusi keilmuan pada sektor pariwisata dan memberi dampak peningkatan ekonomi yang signifikan bagi daerah sekitarnya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dan verifikatif. Dalam penelitian ini, populasi adalah pengunjung obyek wisata dan penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan kriteria responden yang pernah melakukan kunjungan dan telah mem-follow instagram KPBB Setu Babakan. Untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian digunakan metode statistik analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tiga dimensi, hanya dimensi valence of opinion yang tidak signifikan terhadap keputusan berkunjung dibandingkan dimensi intensity dan content. Secara simultan dimensi E-WOM berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kunjungan wisatawan. Nilai koefisien determinan sebesar 55,60% dimana nilai tersebut dapat diinterpretasikan bahwa pengaruh dimensi E-WOM dari instagram efektif sebagai platform media sosial terhadap keputusan berkunjung wisatawan KPBB Setu Babakan.

Abstract

Sportember is a program of a tourist destination in The North Bandung Area that offers sports programs. The program is inseparable from the current public interest in sports and raises the motivation of the community to do recreational sports. The purpose of the research is to find out the cause of the community to do recreational sports through the Sportember program in The North Bandung area in 2021. This research uses a quantitative method through a survey approach. The population of this study is visitors to the tourist area of North Bandung, precisely Hotel and Resorts Sindang Reret Cikole. From this population, 100 respondents were sampled through a random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through community motivation questionnaires. The result of the study is that the motivation of the community towards recreational sports through the Sportember program in The North Bandung area has a percentage of 77%, so it can be concluded that the motivation of the community towards recreational sports through the Sportember program in North Bandung area is high.

Abstract

The easing of the pandemic conditions brought an opportunity for the tourism industry to start to rise from adversity. Social restrictions during the pandemic are slowly shifting to patterns of life in the new normal era. Behavior in the social order began to experience new adaptations, as well as in terms of travel. Previously, tourists tended to be in groups or in groups when carrying out travel activities, which changed with this new normal era. Solo traveler is a new trend in the world of tourism for reasons of safety and health. A self-contained experience with nature-based attractions that mostly resonate with millennial travelers. A solo traveler is a traveler who travels alone, even though the trip will establish new relationships with other people. Generation Y, also known as the millennial generation, is an actor in solo travelers where this generation has unique characteristics in lifestyle, attitudes, and a tendency to be open to all new sources of information. The emergence of the millennial generation is marked by the process of globalization that gave birth to gadgets. The formulation of the research problem is what is the trend of solo travelers from the perspective of the millennial generation and how is their interest in traveling in the new normal era. The purpose of this research is to explore the trends and interests of solo travelers from the perspective of the millennial generation in traveling on its period. Key informants in this study were internal informants from 3 managers from the selected tourism industry, as well as external informants, namely 15 solo travelers from the millennial generation aged 20-30 years as eligible sources who have roles as students, early jobbers or young parents to provide information. information about interest in traveling in the new normal era from each tourist attraction. The data analysis technique used in this research is qualitative data analysis which is carried out interactively through the process of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results show that the tourist interest of solo travelers from the millennial generation is a potential niche for tourism managers and developers, especially in the new normal era which focuses on the revival of tourism
