Abstract

AbstractThe theological paradigm is dynamic and that is the way it supposed to be. The theology we build must be contextual and transformative. By establishing such understanding, theological efforts can be done through every life event and can be used as a reflection of our theology. The conflict at Sigapiton has become a momentum for churches to have theology. The role of society and the ruler, raja bius, of Sigapiton must be seen critically as a theological effort by the community of the church’s congregations which have the dimension of communal and contextual pastoral care.Kata Kunci : Raja Bius, Konflik, Sigapiton, Paradigma, Teologi Pastoral, Komunal, Kontekstual.

AbstractReligious radicalism is not addressed in a natural and transparent way, soit is feared that there will be a destruction of socity/ cilivization (“something like the destruction of civilization”). The Purpuse of this study is to strive for social theology in the context of religious radicalism. And this research is a qualitative research with exploratory description method. Abstract

AbstractIn the Bible, we do not see the description of pain and healing as we haveencountered in the world of medicine. However, from a number of terms thebackground or meaning can be known. In the Old Testament, sickness is due to someone experiencing in their body something incomplete, or “badevents”. He does not experience normal bodily and mental life, perhaps due to infection, imbalance (harmony), or backward health, so he is called sick (holi). We see that healing is one of the responsibilities that humans can do for people who suffer from illness. The role of doctor and his remedybecomes and seems to indicate his responsibility towards the sufferingperson, who is deficient in reaffirming the people (cf. the term “hzk piel” in Jeremiah 30:21; 34: 4). In the New Testament, we do not find theimpression of illness arising as a sign of God's punishment, but instead inJesus’ ministry, He healed people, a sign of reestablishing the order of life with God (cf. Luke 4:18). Healing is generally an act or a way to heal the sick, and it can also be mentioned that healing is divine. Healing in Greek is called in the plural meaning the gifts of healing. The healing of miracles in the Gospel of John emphasizes the dynamic work of God and the sign (Greek: semeia) of His power. Disease is not only a result of sin, but also shows God’s work (9:3). So it is clear that healing miracles is not only valid individually, locally, or temporarily physical meaning, but also in general, provision and spiritual.Keywords: Healing, Congregation

Abstract

AbstractThis paper is an attempt to reinterpret the Song of Songs 7:10 - 8: 4 using the Critical Historical approach in a gender perspective. The Critical Historical Approach is a method of interpretation that emphasizes historical findings, both the history of the text and the history of the context of the text. For a very long time this passage has been interpreted allegorically, human relations with God are like lovers, but this time the text will be interpreted more freely and let it speak independently of traditional concepts of thought. The Song of Songs 7:10 - 8: 4 was written in the Babylonian Exile when the Persian Empire ruled the land. In socio-historical terms, the text can be understood to offer a new concept for the improvement of the nation which at that time needed new strength, namely gender equality between men and women. Equality of both sexes is an idea that is a great leap in that era.Key Words: Song of Songs 7:10 -8: 4, Interpretation, Gender Perspective, Equality.

Abstract

AbstractHuman life which is very complex with all its activities adds to the problems that must be faced which tend to plunge into pain and stress. The servants and administrators of the church today are not only required to be able to deliver the word of God, but also must be able to provide pastoralcounseling services. This study aims to examine and understand howpastoral counseling is for the sick. The method used is a qualitative methodor library research, with the research strategy analyzing various literatures related to the title of this paper. This research found, how pastoral counseling for sick people, so they can be helped and recovered from the disease they experienced. Services can be done in various ways such as, door-to-door visits, face-to-face meetings, which are carried out by thecounselor by: understanding (understanding attitude of the counselor), andResponding (giving constructive responses). Pastoral counseling for the sickwill be better if we remember that counselors take part in the work of Godand his body in this world to penetrate the isolation and alienation of thesick. Therefore, pastoral counseling will be better if we remember that thefocus of pastoral care is the person we are accompanying.Keywords: Pastoral Counseling, the Sick

AbstractThe existence of the elderly should be one of the focus of Church pastoralministry. The elderly is a final stage of life and at this stage there are a lot of problems that may be experienced and felt by them. Changes in the aging process carry some psychological impacts on the elderly which cause them to often feel loneliness, emptiness, fear, depression, and also have a life dependency on others. AbstrakKehidupan Yesus yang dinarasikan dalam kitab Injil adalah sesuatu yang sangat fleksibel dan juga paradoks. Hal ini disebabkan karena adanya perjumpaan dan pergumulan antara tabiat yang dimiliki oleh Yesus yaitu tabiat Ke-Illahian dan Kemanusiaan. Dalam menggenapi rancangan keselamatan yang dinyatakan oleh Allah, kedua tabiat ini tidak dapat terpisah dari diri-Nya. Gambaran kehidupan Yesus sebagai Allah yang menyejarah tentunya menjadi sebuah refleksi bagi komunitas iman sesuai konteksnya. Bagi seorang petani pertanian organik, gambaran Yesus dilihat sebagai petani yang bertanggung jawab dan pekerja keras. Gambaran Yesus sebagai petani yang bertanggung jawab dan pekerja keras akan menjadi sebuah inspirasi bagi para petani pertanian organik supaya mereka mampu menjadi seorang petani yang bekerja keras untuk memperjuangkan kehidupannya serta bertanggung jawab dalam memelihara lingkungan.Key Word: Petani, Pertanian Organik, Bertanggung Jawab, Pekerja Keras

AbstractSociety is becoming increasingly consumptive. Consuming goods is notbecause of the value of its use, but for the sake of lifestyle, so that humans today are never able to meet their needs. To understand the consumption society, the writer examines in a qualitative research with exploratory description method. Research Objectives: Strive for the theological values of Christianity to be interacted with popular culture specifically culinary tourism and the lifestyle of the consumption society in the fourth industrial revolution era (digital era). ABSTRACTThere is purpose of writing this article is to detect women existence in Jesus paradigm and ministry with apply qualitative research method. Existentially the Bible describe story as universal and neutral. But in Old Testament oftentimes be found that women and children as suborditation. But the Gospels describe that Jesus had respectable and reasonable relations with women. This reformation paradigm attitude saw by Jesus attitude that lay great store upon women attitude that go one better tradition or law of Jews by showing on an equal existence of human. AbstractThis paper tells about mission which doing in the different condition. Thedifferent is explained in this paper are about race, gender, skin color,language and religion. Religious diversity is about how if the mission isstated in the sensitivity of different without give rise to problem and conflict. There is challenge when doing the Jesus‟s mission in Indonesia which have religious diversity. When we talk about the truth of Jesus, we preface to the condition of religion pluralism.
