Abstract

The problems that were examined in this research relate to learning about mathematics students who is still low. For that reason it is , the purpose of this study is to find an increase in the results of the kind of classroom learning about mathematics through question student have to their students odd semester class viii junior high school Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in year 2018/2019. The research is research class action ( ptk ) on a student viii a junior high school al azhar 3 lampung consisting of 32 students. To know the results the students learn math test luminance the cycle in the form of essai 5 about as many as with an indicator of success when 75 percent the number of students reach kkm = 70. Any test had first tested the validity of and reliabilitasnya , so they could be used as a measuring instrument research. From the test every cycle it is apparent that an increase in the pre learn math students from research to cycle I of 25 % (56 % students completed kkm) and The first cycle to cycle II of 25 % (81 % students completed kkm). Thus indicators finish in the research success in cycle II. So we can conclude that “an increase in the students learn math through learning model question student have on students VIII in the odd semester class viii junior high school Al Azhar 3 Bandar Lampung in year 2018/2019.

Abstract

The problems discussed in the study relate to the ability to solve mathematical problems in the X graders of science in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung, which are still low. Based on this, this study aims to determine the effect of the Discovery Learning model on the ability of mathematical problem solving in class X science students of Even Semester SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the Academic Year 2017/2018. The method used in this research is the experimental method. The population in this study were all students of class X IPA in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2017/2018, which were spread in 6 classes with a total of 206 students. From the population, two classes were taken as the research sample, namely class X IPA 2, amounting to 30 students as the control class and X IPA 4, amounting to 35 students as the experimental class. The sampling technique used is the Cluster Random Sampling technique. Measurement of variables using a test in the form of a description of 5 questions that were first tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis uses simple statistical analysis with the t-test formula. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, obtained thit = 5.24 and from the distribution table at a significant level of 5% with tdaf = t (1-1/2α) = 1.67 so that it is known thit> tdaf or can be written 5.24> 1.67 . Thus it can be concluded "There is an effect of the Discovery Learning model on the ability to solve mathematical problems in class X science students in the even semester of SMA Negeri 3 Bandar Lampung in the academic year 2017/2018".

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the influence of a method of learning socrates on ability problem solving mathematical at grade student viii even junior high school number 9 Bandar Lampung. This research uses experimental methods with a population of all students class viii the junior high schools number 9 Bandar Lampung. Sampel consisting of two classes, class vii A as a class experiment in a learning of socrates were 34 students and students class viii C as a class control in a learning conventional were 34 students. A sample taken using techniques clusters random sampling. The ability of problem solving students using tests essays about 5 who first tested validity and reliability. The testing of hypotheses use t test it uses to research . Based on the results obtained analysis using t-tes formulas, t-hit = 6,39 and t on distribution of the significant level 5% is 2,00. It can be known if t-hit > t-daf so Ho rejected, means Ha accepted, So can be concluded is the influence of a method of learning of socrates the ability of problem solving mathematical students VIII the first half odd junior high schools 9 bandar lampung years lessons 2018 / 2019.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the application of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) learning model to the mathematical problem solving ability of VIII grade students in the even semester of Bandar Nusantara Middle School in 2016/2017 school year. The sample used in this study is class VIII A as an experimental class totaling 34 students and VIII C as a control class of 32 students. The instrument in this study used an essay test of 5 items that were first tested for validity and reliability. Based on the analysis of the t-tes statistical data it is produced that thit = 3.42 from the distribution table at the level of 5% known tdaf = 2.00. It was proven thit> tdaf so that it was concluded that there was an effect of the application of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, Extending (CORE) learning model to the mathematical problem solving ability of students of class VIII Even Semester SMP Nusantara Bandar Lampung in the 2016/2017 school year ".

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of cooperative learning group to group exchange and LKPD on mathematical communication skills. The study was conducted in the first semester of the academic year 2019/2020 at SMAN 2 Metro. The population in this study is the students grade XI IPA at SMAN 2 Metro in the academic year 2019/2020. Data were collected using two classes derived from the experimental class and control class. Samples were selected through purposive random sampling technique. The study design is a post-test only design. Based on the results of research and discussion can be concluded that there are significant cooperative learning group to group exchange and LKPD on mathematical communication skills among students of class XI IPA in the first semester of SMAN 2 Metro.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Brain Based Learning on the ability to solve mathematical problems of eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung Academic Year 2017/2018. Learning is carried out on two classes, one class as an experimental class in learning using the Brain Based Learning model, and one class as a control class where in the learning process applying a conventional system. Where the experimental class was sampled in class VIII H, amounting to 35 students, and the control class was class VIII G, amounting to 33 students. Hypothesis testing uses the average two similarity test (ttes). From the results of testing the hypothesis obtained thit = 4.40. From tebel t distribution at a significant level of 5% it is known thit = t (1 - ½α) = 2.00 meaning thit> tdat is 4.40> 2.00 so it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of the Brain Based Learning learning model to the problem solving ability mathematics students, especially in class VIII SMP Negeri 34 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

The research was carried out based on problems in the form of low students' mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of the Make a Match type of cooperative learning model on the mathematical problem solving ability of seventh grade students of SMP. Research using quasi-experimental methods. The research population is all grade VII students of SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung. Samples were taken as many as 2 classes, namely class VII.6 as an experimental class totaling 30 students, and class VII.7 as a control class totaling 29 students. The sample was taken using the Cluster Random Sampling technique with a lottery procedure. This technique is carried out, because remembering that each of the eighth grade at SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung has the same average ability. The students' mathematical problem solving abilities were measured by tests in the form of a description of 5 questions. Hypothesis testing using t-test with a value of = 8,72. From the distribution table t at a significant level of 5%, it is known that means which is 8.72>2.00, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of cooperative learning models Make a Match type to the mathematical problem solving ability of VII grade students of SMP Negeri 7 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of students of class VIII Odd Semester SMP Negeri 36 Bandar Lampung using audio visual media. This research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research subjects were students of class VIII-H of SMP Negeri 36 Bandar Lampung, with 35 students. The study was conducted in three cycles. The research data were obtained from observations of student mathematics learning activities as well as student mathematics learning achievement test items. The results of this study indicate that learning mathematics by using audio visual media can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students of class VIII Odd Semester SMP Negeri 36 Bandar Lampung. This is reinforced by the results of observations in class that show the average percentage of students' mathematics learning activities in the first cycle is 40% in the least active criteria while in the second cycle increases to 75% are in the active criteria and in the third cycle increases to 97 % on very active criteria. Then also supported by the percentage of student graduation that is increasing from 0% in the first cycle, 51% in the second cycle and 89% in the third cycle. Thus it can be concluded that by using audio-visual media can improve the activities and learning outcomes of students of class VIII Odd Semester SMP Negeri 36 Bandar Lampung.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low ability to solve mathematical problems. The formulation of the problem in this study is Is the ability to solve math problems of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau after applying the Missouri Mathematics Project model with the Inquiry method in the good category ?. This type of research is in the form of quasi-experimental conducted without the comparison group. The population is all eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau in the academic year 2019/2020 with a total of 375 students. As a sample is class VIII 1 with 36 students taken at random. Data collection is carried out by using a descriptive test technique. The collected data were analyzed using t-test at the level of confidence α = 0.05. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the mathematics problem solving ability of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 2 Lubuklinggau after following the Missouri Mathematics Project model with Inquiry method is in good category. The average value of the ability to solve problems after being given a treatment of 75.39, the percentage of the number of students with good and very good categories amounted to 77.78%.
