Abstract

This article explores the implementation and importance of carbon emission disclosure by public companies in Indonesia. The study is conducted by reviewed related literatures and previous research as references.  The study concludes that public companies in Indonesia have already disclosed carbon emission in their financial statements. However, the disclosure has not conducted in optimal manner. Those indicate that there are some actions already taken by them to response the global climate changes, especially the information about climate changes in Indonesia. Disclosure on carbon emission by public companies in Indonesia had positive impacts on the companies image.

Abstract

This research presents about college strategy based on pesantren in realizing the interconnection of religion and science in Sekolah Tinggi Tekhnologi dan Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo. Interconnection of religion and science as a concept that offers for the relationship between discipline of science of religion and general science. The estuary of the interconnection of religion and science is to unite and make a connection between religious education and science. This research uses qualitative approach of case study type. The results show that; 1) The interconnection strategy of religion and science conducted by Sekolah Tinggi Tekhnologi (STT) Nurul Jadid and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Kesehatan (STIKes) Nurul Jadid Paiton Probolinggo include; internal and external environment analysis, vision and mission determination, mindset change, curriculum development with integration pattern, strengthening of human resource quality, formation of religious culture. 2) the impact of the interconnection of religion and science is; the inclusive attitude in understanding the development of science and religion, has a global perspective, the achievement of the vision and mission of the institution as the leader of the vision and mission of pesantren.

Abstract

Financial deepening has been identified as one of the strategies which can accelerate the rate of development. Deepening the financial sector is one important step in the effort to develop the country's financial markets especially developing countries one of which Indonesia. In this research will identify is the relationship between finacial deepening, the exchange rate of rupiah, interest rates and economic growth in Indonesia year of 1985-2015. The approach used in this study is the causality granger. The results in this study was the performance of the financial sector is still shallow. Financial deepening and economic growth have a one-way relationship, namely economic growth affects the financial deepening. Evidence that the introduction of Demand-Following Hypothesis in Indonesia. The exchange rate of the rupiah and financial deepening do not influence each other, as well as economic growth and the exchange rate of the rupiah not influence each other.

Abstract

The term hoodlum is associated with vicious activities while ikhwan is associated with religious activities. Phenomenon appeared when religious activities conducted by ikhwan eks hoodlum. This phenomenon appeared in Mojo village, Semanggi, Pasar Kliwon, Surakarta. This village had bad history. Any kind of bad activities were found in this village but the social life changed since 1999. The villagers agreed to close three prostitution locations in this village. Then, Islamic invitation came to hoodlums, step by step, their lives changed to be better. Researcher divides their lives into three periods. First, they were being good Muslims; second, they joined to lascar activities, third, the period after the general leader of lascars died. Based on this reality, researcher focused this study on the Islamic understanding of ikhwan eks hoodlum, some factors that shaped their understandings, and the impacts of their Islamic understandings. This study used qualitative method with interactiosme symbolic approach. This theory said that human being activities based on their symbol understanding. This understanding was formed by social interacts. To support this method, the writer used social learned and Islamic invitation (dakwah) that shaped their Muslim personalities. Among three periods, lascar period took more proportions. They joined sweeping violent activities and they against many hoodlums physically. These activities made many hoodlums areas be Islamic village. Apart from that, second period have produced extreme thought of some ikhwan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the legal status of the guardian of marriage for the father of the incest against the biological child. This study is limited to a review of four schools and the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). This study is a library research, which is to examine several basic and secondary references to discuss the subject matter of the study. The results of this study state that guardian marriage is one of the pillars of marriage and there is no marriage if there is no guardian. A marriage is considered invalid if there is no guardian who allows the bride to leave the bridegroom. Thus the presence of guardians in marriage can play a role in protecting women from possible disadvantages in their marital life. As for the marriage guardian, it is regulated in Article 19 to Article 23 Compilation of Islamic Law. Imam Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hambali argue that guardians are a legitimate condition of a marriage, while Imam Abu Hanifah argues that a woman may marry herself without a guardian. The legal basis of the opinions of Imam Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hambali are several hadiths. The opinion of Imam Abu Hanifah based on the hadith of the Prophet narrated by Bukhari and Muslim from Ibn Abbas r.a.

Abstract

This article discusses about art from the point of view of Islamic spirituality. This is a study of the most important aspects of an art inspired by Islamic values, including literature, music, and other forms of art. Thus the deeper a person penetrates the meaning of Islamic art, the wider one understands of the relationship between art and Islamic spirituality. Arts are then refined by Islamic conception. Islam blesses every work of art that is in compliance with the Islamic teaching. The blessed works form a unique way of life that is in accordance with the norms of Islamic values. Acculturation of arts and local culture according to Islam is not value free, rather it is value bound.

Abstract

In today's globalization era companies be demanded must be able to compete with competitors who certainly not only sourced from domestic but also have to compete with competitors from abroad. The increasingly tight competition is what makes the business people must have quality human resources so that it has a good production process so that the productivity of the company can be realized. Human resources are key in every organization whether in the realm of education, politics, social, more so the business environment. although not as spaciously ancient time for its role in doing business activities but the role of human resources is quite significant and sometimes can't replaced in certain domain. Therefore, human resources as should be properly managed to function so always be productive and generate more profit for the company. Trend of human resource management in the contemporary era provides a new paradigm using information technology, so it’s very helpful in managing human resources.
