Abstract

Since 2017, the existence of 140 BUM Desa in East Sumba Regency has not shown good performance as pillars of the people's economy. This is reflected in the still high poverty rate and weak production sectors which can stimulate village economic growth. The aim of the research is to analyze how much influence interpersonal skills and current skills have on organizational performance through good corporate governance. The research method uses quantitative descriptive analysis techniques based on secondary and primary data obtained through questionnaires with a Likert scale approach. The results of the analysis of 144 respondents in 30 active BUM Desa using SEM analysis and smart pls 4 show that hypothesis H1 is accepted, namely that interpersonal skills have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of good corporate governance with a t-value of 6.678 and a p-value of 0.000. H2 is accepted, namely that current skills have a positive and significant effect on the implementation of good corporate governance with a t-value of 4.823 and a p-value of 0.000. H3 is accepted, namely the implementation of good corporate governance has a positive and significant effect on performance with a t-value of 3.986 and a p-value of 0.000. H4 is accepted, namely interpersonal skills have a positive and significant effect on performance with a t-value of 3.665 and a p-value of 0.000. H5 is rejected because it has a t-value of 0.345 which is smaller than 1.96 and a p-value of 0.730 with a significance of 5%, namely that current skills have no effect on performance. The results of this study recommend the need for concrete efforts to improve the interpersonal abilities and skills of current administrators. Apart from that, it is necessary to better implement the principles of transparency and accountability to improve the performance of BUM Desa by prioritizing the economic independence of local communities.

Abstract

The business world has become increasingly competitive lately. Business people must optimize their organizational performance to compete in the global market amidst an increasingly tight competitive environment. MSMEs or micro, small and medium enterprises are very important for economic growth and development in both industrial and developing countries, such as Indonesia. MSMEs have a function in Indonesia apart from contributing to economic growth and development. UMKM Banderk Sergai is a product business in the form of packaged instant bandrek herbal drinks that has been running since 2013. This UMKM has consumers who make repeat purchases from various cities starting from Aceh, Tebing Tinggi, Sei Rampah, Perbaungan, Lubuk Pakam, Tanjung Morawa, Medan, Deli Tua, and Binjai and there are still fluctuations in Banderk Sergai MSMEs as seen through income from 2018-2022. This research uses quantitative methods using a sample of 102 consumers at Bandrek Sergei MSMEs. The results of this finding are that repurchase decisions are strongly influenced by price and service quality, but not by trust. Then, although service quality has a big impact on customer happiness, price and trust have little effect on it. Repurchase decisions are also significantly influenced by customer satisfaction. Finally, although service quality and trust do not have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction through repeat purchase decisions, price has a significant positive effect on satisfaction. So the suggestion from this research is that Bandreak Sergai MSMEs should further improve service and trust to consumers regarding the products offered so that they continue to increase sales and consumers from Bandrek Sergai MSMEs continue to make repeat purchases in the long term.

Abstract

Financial statement fraud is fraud committed by management in the form of misstatements of financial information that can harm other parties for personal or certain group interests. In recent years, the theory of financial statement fraud has developed, starting with the triangle, diamond, pentagon, and finally hexagon theories. The hexagon theory is a development of the previous theory with the components of stimulus, capability, collusion, opportunity, rationalization, and ego. The effect of the Hexagon Theory component on financial statement fraud is investigated in this study, with corporate governance serving as a moderating variable. This quantitative research was developed by observing 235 sets of data obtained from annual reports of public companies in the property and real estate sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016–2020 period and analyzing them using a panel data regression model processed with the EViews program. The results of the study prove that only the stimulus component, as measured by financial targets, and external pressure affect financial statement fraud. Furthermore, corporate governance has been shown to moderate the relationship between financial statement fraud and stimulus, opportunity, rationalization, and ego.
