Abstract

The main objectives of this study are the value of depletion, degradation, depreciation, and green GRDP of the food crop sub-sector in South Kalimantan Province. Data processing is done mathematically with green GRDP as the approach. Judging from the type of data, this research is a quantitative and descriptive study when viewed from the level of explanation. This study uses secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) publications, the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture, South Kalimantan Province, and Bank Indonesia. The results showed that the value of Green GRDP in the Food Crops Sub-Sector in 2018 was Rp. 3.4 trillion, in 2019, it was Rp. 3.5 trillion, and in 2020, it was Rp. 3.7 trillion. The calculation results show that the value of the Green GRDP of the Food Crops Sub-Sector is smaller than the conventional GRDP because the depletion value of food plant resources and the value of soil degradation are quite high.

Abstract

LFPR is an important factor that can show how large the workforce is already working. The large number of workers who do not work causes the burden of dependence to be greater. In this study, it is shown that LFPR is influenced by growth in the number of MSMEs, household consumption, and minimum wages. In data processing, an ECM (error correction model) approach is used which looks at its long-term and short-term effects. In the long term and in the short term, the growth in the number of MSMEs and the minimum wage has a significant negative effect, while household consumption has a significant positive effect simultaneously or partially, except for the minimum wage variable in the short term which has an insignificant negative effect.

Abstract

This study determines the role of balancing and profit-sharing funds for economic growth and a general allocation of funds for economic inequality. This study uses a scatter plot analysis of Klassen Typology in thirteen districts/cities in South Kalimantan from 2011-2019. The Klassen Typology here is divided into three years of observation. Two thousand eleven as a base year, 2015 as a middle year, and 2019 as a final year of observation. The observations are divided into balancing and profit-sharing funds for economic growth and general allocation funds for economic inequality. The secondary data used are from the Badan Pusat Statistik Kalimantan Selatan, which consists of data on the rate of economic growth and Gini Ratio, and from Direktorat Jenderal Perimbangan Keuangan used of balancing funds, profit sharing funds, and general allocation funds data. The Klassen Typology with the best results for balancing funds on economic growth is in quadrant II, with low balancing funds and high for economic growth. The regions that have improved economic growth are Banjar, Balangan, Kotabaru, Tanah Bumbu, Tanah Laut, and Tabalong; there are so many being in quadrant II, both in 2011-2019. The role of profit-sharing funds on economic growth is in quadrant I as the best result with high profit-sharing funds and high economic growth. Barito Kuala, Hulu Sungai Selatan, Hulu Sungai Tengah, and Hulu Sungai Utara have improved their economic growth over three years of comparison. The role of general allocation funds in economic inequality is in quadrant III for the best with high general allocation funds and low economic inequality. The regions with economic inequality decreased are Balangan, Barito Kuala, Tapin, Tanah Laut, Hulu Sungai Tengah, and Hulu Sungai Utara.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the level of poverty and the elements that influence the level of poverty in the Province of South Kalimantan. The data used is secondary data sourced from the Satu Data Banua website for South Kalimantan Province, a combination of cross-sectional data from 13 regencies/cities in South Kalimantan Province with time series data from 2017 to 2021. This research uses three independent variables and one dependent variable consisting of the Open Unemployment Rate (X1), Gini Ratio (X2), and Life Expectancy Rate (X3) as well as the Percentage of Poor Population as (Y). The panel data analysis method is carried out by conducting model selection tests on the Common Effect, Fixed, and Random Effects Models to determine the best model in panel data estimation. The results showed that the random effect model found that the open unemployment rate and life expectancy had a significant effect. In contrast, the Gini ratio did not affect the percentage of poor people in South Kalimantan Province. Based on the hypothesis test, simultaneously (simultaneously), the three independent variables significantly affect the percentage of poverty in South Kalimantan Province.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the speed of the spread of Covid-19, which is the most significant dilemma felt by the population, especially in work mobility and staying at home. In a situation like this, it is very influential on the progress of the population's economy. This type of research is in the form of quantitative research, and the data used in this research are data from Quarter I 2020 Quarter I 2021 obtained from the National Statistics Agency, national and provincial Covid-19 data from Kawalcovid-19 and Population Mobility Data from the Community Mobility report. during the Covid-19 pandemic. The analytical method used is panel data regression analysis with classical assumption testing. The results of this study in regression model 1 show that the Variables of Economic Growth, Population, Work Mobility, and Home Mobility have a positive and significant impact on the rate of spread of Covid-19 cases. The results of this study in regression model 2 show that the Variables of Economic Growth, GRDP Per Capita, Population, Home Mobility, Hotel Mobility have a negative and insignificant effect on the rate of spread of Covid-19 incidence

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the effect of local taxes, levies, balance funds, and SiLPA on capital expenditures. The population used in this study were districts/cities in South Kalimantan, this study used quantitative research methods, and this data analysis technique used panel data with multiple linear regression and secondary data for nine years (2011-2019). Capital expenditures have an important role in improving public services, such as increasing the value of assets and obtaining assets, and improving public facilities with regional expenditures, which are effective in increasing the regional economy, such as increasing the useful life or adding value to road and bridge, irrigation and network assets. In the results of this study, the results of the linear regression analysis conducted show that the variables of Local Taxes and levies on districts and cities in South Kalimantan are not significant to capital expenditure and have a positive value, which means that the variables of Regional Taxes and Regional Levies have a significant relationship direction of Capital Expenditures but has no effect on Capital Expenditures. Balanced Funds in districts and cities in South Kalimantan have a positive value and significant effect on capital expenditure. Silpa in districts and cities in South Kalimantan has a significant positive effect on capital expenditure, which means that the Balanced Fund and SiLPA variables have a unidirectional relationship, meaning that it decreases. -the increase in the Balancing Fund and SiLPA variables in districts and cities in South Kalimantan affects capital expenditure

Abstract

The research indicate the effect of labor force participation rate, life expectancy and average length of schooling on the economic growth in Tapin district. The secondary data used is quantitative type received from central bureau of statistics in Tapin district from 2004 to 2020. The data in question is the average length of schooling, economic growth, labor force participation rate and llife expectancy. The research uses the ordinary least square method using time series data from 2004 to 2020 by classical assumptions test and hypothesis testing. The research partially shows that labor force participation rate does not significantly effect economic growth, which partially effect economic growth in Tapin regency is life expectancy and average length of schooling. Three independent variables simultaneously positive and significant impact on economic growth in Tapin regency, the biggest influence on economic growth is variable average length of schooling.

Abstract

This study aims : to determine the effect and relationship of population growth rate, dependency ratio and human development index (HDI) on economic growth in Banjarmasin City. This study uses quantitative research by using numerical and statistical data analysis methods, to obtain significant results from the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable under study. The data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis and uses the eviews application as a data analysis tool. The results of this study indicate that the variable population growth rate has a significant and positive correlation to the economic growth of Banjarmasin City. While the dependency ratio variable has a significant and negative correlation to the economic growth of Banjarmasin City.
