Abstract

ABSTRACT: Road is the main land transportation infrastructure to move from one place to another places for every traffic user who passes through it, so the volume of vehicles on these roads must be able to be supported by adequate road pavement. Letnan Sukarna road is the connecting access for Rancabungur and Ciampea sub-districts. The existing condition of the road is in the form of Flexible Pavement, however there are several points that can be categorized as moderate to heavily damaged roads. The damage is in the form of longitudinal cracking and potholes that is caused by excessive vehicle loads, malfunctioning of drainage channels and high rainfall. In this study, a comparison of rigid pavement calculations uses the 1993 AASHTO and Bina Marga 2003 methods on Letnan Sukarna Road, Ciampea District, Bogor Regency. This study aims to obtain data on existing conditions and to find out the comparison of rigid pavement thickness. From the calculation results of the AASHTO 1993 method, the thickness of the pavement is 20 cm with transverse connections using dowels with a diameter of 13 mm, length 635 mm, a distance of 1117 mm, a longitudinal connection using a tie bar with a diameter of 25 mm, a length of 450 mm and a distance of 300 mm. Whereas with the Bina Marga 2003 Method, that is obtained a thickness of 18 cm with a transverse connection using a dowel with a diameter of 25 mm, length of 450 mm, a distance of 300 mm, a longitudinal connection using a tie bar with a diameter of 16 mm, a length of 750 mm and a distance of 700 mm. The difference in pavement thickness is quite small, namely 2 cm. It is influenced by differences in the input parameters of the two methods.

Abstract

Abstract

The need for irrigation water as a whole need to be known in the planning and management of irrigation systems. Given that the Cisadeng II Irrigation Area (DI) located in Leuwisadeng District, Bogor Regency, experienced an expansion of the paddy field area from 32 ha to 42 ha, it is necessary to carry out an analysis of the demand for irrigation water discharge on various cropping patterns. This study used two methods, namely manual calculation (KP-01 concept) and calculation using the CROPWAT application version 8.0. This study aims to compare the results of the two calculations. From the results of the study, the amount of irrigation water needed for rice cropping pattern with the beginning of land preparation in November, with manual calculations (KP-01 concept) using the modified Penman method is 8.12 - 19.00 m3/sec. Meanwhile, according to CROPWAT Version 8.0 calculations, it is 8.03 - 18.39 m3/sec. Thus, it can be concluded that the calculations with the two methods do not give too different values. In addition, from the results of calculating the reliable debit, the use of the CROPWAT Version 8.0 method provides a more accurate value. Abstract

Abstract: Soil is an important part of a sub-building structure, soil characteristics need to be considered in the initial planning of a construction, in order to achieve stability and security for the building above it. With different soil conditions, as is the case with the soil in Ngasem village which has low carrying capacity, it is necessary to know which structure meets the requirements for the soil conditions in Ngasem. To find out the characteristics of the soil is done by testing in the laboratory, namely testing the physical and mechanical properties. Testing the physical properties of the soil is testing the water content (Wc), specific gravity (Gs), Atterberg limits and soil unit weight (γ). Mechanical testing with proctor test and direct shear strength. The method used is an experimental method by taking soil samples at a depth of ± 80 cm and conducting research tests in the Kadiri University laboratory. So that the results of soil classification with the SW-SM code are obtained which are classified as well-graded sandy soils with silt mixtures based on USCS and classified as (A-1-b) according to the AASHTO classification system. The Atterberg Limit of Low Plasticity (clay low plasticity) with a Plastic Index Value of 3.243 which is classified as Slightly Plastic, a shear angle value of 38.748° with a cohesion value of 1.914, a maximum dry unit weight value of 1.77 gr/cm3 , and an optimum moisture content of 14.44 . So that with this study, the community is expected to choose and adjust the type and quality of the structure of building materials in accordance with the state of the land. Abstract

KONI Stadium is in the middle of the commercial area, adjacent to the old city center of Jambi. As part of the city's strategic economic area, this area is facing the problems of the decline of the city center, underdeveloped land, underutilized property, minor used only property and the existence of a stadium which is still needed by residents as a sports facility and social space. There are also pockets of old settlements that still survive. So the problem is how to meet these various demands in the stadium area which has become the identity of this region. Furthermore, how can the stadium be transformed functionally to meet new programmatic needs in terms of existing regional problems. To be answered through a qualitative descriptive study by looking at the current morphology of the area and the projected potential for the development of the KONI Stadium area in the future. Literature review was conducted to obtain a theoretical basis that can be used. It is also supported by precedent studies on similar issues. From the study, conclusions were formulated on an urban architectural design model that could meet and answer problems. The mixed-use area design approach is considered capable of meeting a variety of demands and functions. Also proposed a solution related to the transformation of existing settlements in the area. Architecturally, it is designed to be in harmony with the economic value of the land by a vertical building design but provides a gradation of scale that gives respect to the scale of the surrounding residential area and of course to the social humanism aspect which still provides communal space for the existing community with development opportunities. It also provides solutions to environmental problems.
