Abstract

Kata kunci : tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan, kualitas produk, reputasi perusahaan, intensi membeli Studies related to the role of corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities in relation to purchasing intention have been carried out, where studies have been conducted on the main products of goods-producing companies. So far, there have not been many studies that have tried to reveal the relationship of CSR activities to the products of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) fostered by CSR of coal mining companies. This gap becomes interesting to be studied given the obligation to implement CSR in mining companies. The total respondents in this study are 105 persons that spread around coal mining areas in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. This study found that purchase intention was strongly influenced by product quality, not by people's perception of the company. This finding illustrates that a company's brand, big name, or reputation is not enough to increase people's intention to buy the company's partner MSME products. CSR governance and well-structured assistance to improve the quality of MSME products have more impact on the intention to buy MSME products. Good management and assistance are very important for the development of the company's partner MSMEs so that they can grow and compete with various products or services that are well received by the market. Abstract

Geoparks are a fairly new concept, raising to popularity only around the very end of the twentieth century with the formation of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization Global Geoparks Network (UNESCO GGN). Indonesia currently has six geoparks designated as UNESCO Global Geoparks, as well as fifteen national geoparks and several aspiring geoparks. The National Committee for Indonesain Geoparks which is headed by three coordinating ministries and three technical ministries with twelve other ministries and agencies as members of the committee has identified that youths hold a critical role in the development of geoparks in Indonesia. This was stated clearly in the National Action Plan for Indonesian Geoparks in Ministry of National Development Planning No. 15/2020. In 2021 the Ministry for National Development Planning sought out to realize this by forming the Indonesian Geopark Youth Forum, a youth-led organisation where representatives of Indonesian geoparks help actualize the development of Indonesian geoparks and their local communities. As IGYF continues to develop in its infancy with the hosting of the 1st UNESCO Geopark Youth Forum in Jeju Island, South Korea resulting in the election of Indonesia as the host country and chairman for the UNESCO Geopark Youth Forum for 2021-2023, the author in this paper attempts to give an analysis of the role that IGYF has as a new actor catalyst in the sustainable development of communities in the geopark areas through the unique approach that geoparks have, with great focus on community empowerment as the foundation for the development of the three pillars of geoparks; education, conservation, and sustainable economic development.

Abstract

The study investigated how the Government of Ghana’s educational policies during COVID-19 had excluded private school teachers and contributed to their vulnerability. The study was a descriptive cross-sectional survey. The population was private school teachers in Ghana. Non-probability sampling technique was used to select the sample size. The cluster sampling technique was adopted to select one municipality in the Greater Accra region: based on the recorded number of COVID-19 cases and economic activities. The study involved 150 private school teachers. The analytic tool used in the analysis is inferential and descriptive statistics. The study found that COVID-19 severely impacted private school teachers' livelihood and income stream in the selected municipalities despite government intervention policies. The study recommends that political leadership, as well as the management of private school teachers, should develop innovative systems that will serve as safety nets for future crises. Keywords: Education policy, vulnerability, private school teachers, COVID-19 pandemic Studi ini membahas bagaimana kebijakan pendidikan Pemerintah Ghana selama COVID-19 telah mengeksklusi guru sekolah swasta dan berkontribusi pada kerentanan mereka. Abstract

Kata Kunci: Inklusivitas, Bantuan Sosial, Lansia, Negara Berpendapatan Menengah Atas, Systematic Review Social assistance policies for elderly is still constrained by low coverage of beneficiaries and hampered access to assistance. This paper aims to determine inclusiveness of social assistance for elderly using a systematic review. Inclusivity in this case means how far policies reach out community, policies’s impact, and integration with poverty alleviation programs. The countries studied are South Africa, Brazil, China and Indonesia because of the policies’s similiarities and included in upper middle income countries. The data used are 25 pieces of literatures that discuss the inclusiveness, selected from Google Scholar (14 pieces of literatures) and Scopus (11 pieces of literatures). The keywords used were “inclusive”, “social assistance”, and “old-age”. Research findings show that social assistance for elderly in four countries is not yet fully inclusive. Elderly’s definition must be expanded and assistance adapted to elderly’s characteristics. Governments have to manage policies and next researchers should conduct studies on other aspects of social security. Abstract

Kata kunci: kesejahteraan subjektif, perempuan disabilitas, kerentanan ganda, pandemi COVID-19 The distinctive aspect in the meaning of welfare and well-being in its perception has created gaps in social policy products which are often dominated by objective-material aspects. In an attempt to comprehend the concept of welfare and well-being as a whole, this study focuses on the meaning of subjective well-being for one of the groups with multiple vulnerabilities, namely women with disabilities contextualization during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is conducted through in-depth interviews with nine women with disabilities at KSM HarapanMulia. By applying the concept of subjective well-being and the perspective of intersectionality as a theoretical framework, this study resulted in several main points. First, the perspective of women with disabilities on subjective well-being are closely related to the consequences as women and persons with disability. Second, this result underlies another result that subjective well- being is not 'purely' limited to internal judgments but is accompanied by intersecting influences originating from objective contexts outside the individual. Keywords: subjective well-being, women with disabilities, multiple vulnerabilities, COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract

Kata kunci: gender, glorifikasi, eksploitasi, kecantikan, konstruksi perempuan The discussion regarding practices of women's exploitation that are unseen within student social groups are often excluded from social development discourse. The Instagram account @ugmcantik as a digitalization product is seen as creating standards and demands for a steep subjective beauty. There was a polemic because the administrator commodified economic products and political power tactics to weaken identity. In studying the reaction to the adoration of beauty; especially on the discourse of gender inclusivity, the researchers carried in-depth interviews with five photo owners and five active followers. Based on the concept of Naomi Wolf's feminism and Michel Foucault's discourse on the relation of knowledge to power, it is known that there are three practices of women’s construction: (1) glorification of beauty; (2) body commodification; and (3) invasion of privacy. Glorification is, in fact, a violation due to its hidden purpose of objectifying women with smooth, implicit means. The main point of categorizing women exploitation is based on the affirmative agreement between both parties involved. Everyone has a different conclusion. Courage and critical reasoning are needed to create a safe and gender-neutral campus environment. Keywords: beauty, exploitation, gender, glorification, women construction
