Abstract

High blood disease or hypertension is a condition which a person has increased systolic blood pressure more than 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure  more than 90 mmHg. Hypertension is a major risk the factor for ischemia and hemorrhagic stroke, myocardial infarction, heart failure, chronic kidney disease, cognitive decrease and premature death.The aim of this research is to analyze the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy for blood pressure decrease in hypertension patients in the work area of Cendana Putih II community health center 2017. This research is being quantitative, using quasi experimental (pretest-posttest design). The population in this research was hypertension patients in the work area of cendana putih II as many as 82 people with the number of samples 40 people with the method of sampling using purposive sampling. Data collected by questionnaire and analyzed univariat and bivariate using static test of Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test.The conclusion of research proved that there was the effect of progressive muscle relaxation therapy for blood pressure decrease in hypertension patients with value P= 0,000 where value P < 0,05.The suggestion of this research will expected to be information to society, especially hypertension patients about progressive muscle relaxation therapy that can effect in blood pressure decrease. The information will hoped to help hypertension in stress management experienced, and give practical knowledge to do muscle relaxation therapy independently.Key Words : Muscle Relaxation Therapy, Blood Pressure, Hypertensio

Abstract

This research aimed to investigate the effect of the herbal medicine treatment on the hemoglobin levels in female students of Syekh Yusuf Academy of Midwivery (AKBID), Gowa Regency.The research used the experimental method with the pre-post test design. The sampels comprising 60 respondens were chosen using the total sampling technique. The total samples were divided into two group 30 respondents were in the intervention group and 30 respondents in the control group.The data were analyzed using Paired Sampel T-Test assisted by SPSS Program in order to look at the effect of the treatment with herbal medicine on the hemoglobin levels.The research results indicated that in the intervention group the mean level of Hb before the intervention was 10.19 gr/dl and it increased after the intervention to 11.4 gr/dl,while in the control group before the intervention the mean value of hemoglobin 10.4 gr/dl and after the intervention was 10.9 gr/dl thus,the research result indicated the correlation between herbal medicine and hemoglobin level in teenagers (p= 0,000). Keywords : Teenagers, herbal, Hemoglobin, Anemia

Abstract

Leadership This study aims to determine the factors associated with maternal knowledge primigravid in recognition of pregnancy danger signs in Palopo City Health Center Mungkajang 2016.Design research is a quantitative research with cross sectional. The population is all pregnant women primigravida at health centers Mungkajang Palopo City in 2015. The sample this study were primigravida in health centers Mungkajang Palopo 2015 the number of 35 people with a total sampling sampling techniques. Data retrieval via primary  (questionnaires) and secondary. The data is processed using the Statistics Programme For Social Science (SPSS) version 19.0 and analyzed by univariate and bivariate with Chi-square test (X2) and are presented in tabular form distribution and analysis.Bivariate analysis results showed that there was correlation between age, education, and exposure information with knowledge of pregnant women in the introduction primigravid danger signs of pregnancy (P value 0.000 <value α: 0:05), conclusion of this research is that there is correlation between age, education and exposure information to knowledge primigravida pregnant women in recognition of pregnancy danger signs in Health Center Mungkajang Palopo City in 2015, so for health workers, especially midwives further improve and maximize class program of pregnant women each month so that pregnant women can share important information that should be known and understood by pregnant women as danger signs of pregnancy Keywords: Knowledge of, Age,    Education, and    Information   Exposure

Abstract

One of the efforts to encourage the acceleration of improvement and equality of health personnel education is by increasing the quality control of educational graduates. The national competence test is one effective way to improve the educational process and to sharpen the achievement of competency relation according to the competency standard.His study aims to analyze correlation of students' knowledge about the implementation of national competence test with student learning motivation Reguler Level III Study Program S1 Nursing STIKes Kurnia Jaya Persada Palopo 2017. Research conducted in August Type of research used is quantitative research with descriptive correlational design. The research design is cross sectional study. The sample size is 57 people. Sampling using total sampling. The research instrument is questionnaire and data processing using SPSS version. 2.2.The result of the research shows that 37 respondents (64,9%) have good knowledge about national competence test, 32 respondents (56,1%) have high learning motivation and 5 respondents (8,8%) have learning motivation low. While the students who have less good knowledge about the implementation of national competence test as many as 20 respondents (35.1%) of which there are 9 respondents (15.8%) who have high learning motivation and 11 respondents (19.3%) who have motivation low learning. The result of chi square test shows that p-value = 0.001 is smaller than α = 0,05 meaning that there is correlation between student's knowledge about the implementation of national competence test with student learning motivation at level III of nursing program STIKes Kurnia Jaya Persada Palopo year 2017.Thus, students are expected to improve knowledge of nursing science accompanied by high motivation and interest to be able to pass with quality quality. Keywords :  Knowledge, Competency Test, Learning Motivation

Abstract

This research explain about how to apprehends multicultural value’s in Islamic Boarding School Datok Sulaiman Palopo. The main problem’s in this thesis are, how teacher’s apprehension about multicultural educations and what theirs effort to applicate this values in learning process of boarding area beyond formal and non formal studies. This research, writer used qualitative descriptive approach, namely Library Research and Field researches. Subject in this research were principal, teacher, student’s. collecting data was used are observation, interview, and documentation. The investigation of data used cross check technique and descriptive analysis.The result of this research, shows some of important conclusion’s, in the education field, Islamic boarding school Datok Sulaiman Palopo was difficult saw that this institution is modern. The system are combination between traditionally and modern. The people of Pesantren seem take foundation al-muhafadhotu ‘ala qadimi al-salih wa al-akhdu bi jadidi al-aslah (The maintain old something that is considered have good value’s and take a new something for kindness) as standing on. Therefore, bandongan and sorogan learning models as a traditionally system can be apply with classical system as modern characteristic. In thinking, in fact- principle, teacher in the learning processes formal and non formal have appreheanded and practice multicultural value’s in boarding area. Key Words : Multicultural Values, Inclusive, Students Religiousness

Abstract

The ideal legal protection is not solely focused on the implementation of legislation, although in reality, the legal protection of the tendency is not implemented as expected by the community, as some interpret the judge's decision. Domestic violence is any form of violence perpetrated by husbands, wives, other family members who result in physical, psychological, sexual and economic harm, including threats, deprivation of liberty occurring in a household or family.This study aims to see the form of legal protection against victims of domestic violence, and then analyze the factors that influence the effectiveness of the prevention of domestic violence, which then look at the extent of the effectiveness of the prevention of domestic violence against victims of violent crime In particular households and the general publicThis research is a descriptive study with a juridical-empirical approach that examines the rules of positive law in order to get answers to the existing problems by linking with facts or phenomena about Domestic Violence. Abstract

Low Birth Weight (LBW is defined as a neonate born too small, a baby born with a weight between 500- <2500 grams. Objective: To find out factors related to mortality of low birth weight babies at Labuang Baji Regional General Hospital of Makassar.This research method uses analytic observation with cross sectional study approach. The population in this study were all low birth weight infants (BBLR) treated at the Regional General Hospital of Labuang Baji Makassar in 2013-2015. The sample in this study were all low birth weight babies who died at the Regional General Hospital of Labuang Baji Makassar in 2013-2015. Sampling technique purposive sampling.Conclusion: There is a significant association between asphyxia, infection/ sepsis, hypoglycemia, hyperbilirubinemia, hypothermia, Respiratory Distress Syndrome (RDS) on the occurrence of LBW death.Suggestion: The need for early detection of complications that may occur in infants with LBW. Abstract

Sectio Caesaria (SC) is a labor with laparotomy and hysterotomy. Mothers who have had SC surgery, have the same postpartum care needs of mothers who have vaginal delivery. Post surgical care is necessary to prevent the occurrence of complications in the SCThis study aims to determine the factors associated with wound healing post sectio caesarea in RSUD Sawerigading Palopo 2016. The design of this study using analytical survey method with cross sectional study approach. The population in this study were all mothers who have given birth and sampling techniques of mothers who experienced cesarean delivery sectio sampling technique is the mother who experienced is accidental sampling as many as 45 people. Further data were analyzed by chi-square test.Conclusion: There is correlation between knowledge of mother with wound healing in post-cesarean mother in RSUD Sawerigading Palopo year 2017 based on chi square statistic test p value = 0,000 <0,05. There is a relation of mobilization form with wound healing to post-cesarean mother in RSUD Sawerigading Palopo year 2017 based on chi square statistic test p value = 0,003 <0,05.Suggestion: Provide health education on the importance of maintaining personal hygiene after SC surgery to avoid infection of wound surgery. Health education in post mobil mobilized mother can be done routinely in order to accelerate wound healing. Providing health education on wound care for post-cesarean mother. Health education about the importance of nutritional fulfillment to accelerate wound healing process with high-calorie high-protein diet.Keywords : Wound Healing, Sectio Caesaria, Knowledge, Early Mobilization

Abstract

Preeclampsia and eclampsia are a collection of symptoms that occur in pregnant women, maternity and in the puerperium consisting of triad proteinuri, hypertension, and edema, sometimes accompanied by convulsions to coma. The mother showed no signs of previous vascular or hypertensive disorders The aim of this research is to know the correlation between risk factor to preeclampsia event.The type of research used is descriptive analytic research with cross sectional study approach. This research was conducted in RSUD Syekh Yusuf Gowa Year 2014-2015, research time June 2016 until May 2017, sample in this research is all pregnant women who have preeclampsia and recorded in status of mother in medical record Syech Yusuf Gowa Hospital Year 2014-2015. Sampling technique is simple random sampling and analysis used is univariate and bivariate analysis.Conclusion: There is no significant relationship between maternal age and DM disease with risk of preeclampsia. Abstract

The research aimed at investigating the effect of giving counterpressure technique to decrease the intensity of pain in the first stage of labor in the delivery room of RSUD Sawerigading Palopo. This study was conducted in a preexperimental manner with static group comparison design, in subject static group comparison design divided into two groups, where the treatment group was followed by observation and observation result compared with the observation result in the control group which only received standard treatment. Data were analyzed using T test. Where t value hit 6.971> t table 2.05, so it can be concluded that the results obtained mean that there is influence of counterpressure technique is big enough to decrease the intensity of labor pain. Keyword: Counterpressure, Labor Pain, Kala I
