Abstract

Training centers as a place to conduct training receive complaints about the implementation of training and facilities available from training participants as recipients of services and the organizers of the training center as implementers. So far, there has not been a precise complaint handling mechanism so that complaints are often not conveyed to the authorities in charge so that they appear to be handling complaints slowly or not at all. Whereas complaints are one of the inputs needed to improve an organization, BSSN Training Center certainly requires an integrated complaint handling mechanism. So, complaints are input for organizational improvement but also can be resolved appropriately and in relatively short and observable time. This research used a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. This method will describe the complaint handling management process in detail in handling complaints of training participants at the BSSN Training Center. Qualitative analysis techniques used interpretive techniques. Data collection techniques used triangulation techniques that combine several techniques, namely document review, interviews, and discussion results. The method of analyzing data uses the method of analyzing data flow models. The study obtained results in the form of a description of the Complaints Handling Management Process in Handling Complaints of Participants in the BSSN Training Center which utilizes online platforms ranging from delivery to complaint report management. The Complaints Handling Management is more easy to do, faster because it cuts through the bureaucratic path and the measurement process is more measurable

Abstract

The implementation of mandatory regulations of tin export through commodity multi-exchange has been considered effective in suppressing illegal tin trading practices, building transparency in transaction and export record, and creating added value for tin export. However, the essence of a multi-exchange policy should also promote the increasing in value and volume of tin transactions. This analysis aims to see the difference in the value and volume of tin transactions before and after the multi-exchange policy. By using the Paired Sample t-test, there are shown significant differences in value and volume of tin transactions whereby the value and volume transacted after the multi-exchange policy is relatively lower. The decrease in transaction value will affect the state tin royalty revenue. Interestingly, the decline in transaction value is driven by the high disparity between the value and volume of transactions between the two exchanges. Therefore, trade policies that support the consolidation of the tin market are urgently needed to optimize state royalty revenues.

This study examine the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on ASEAN5 export performance. The study begins with an exploration of ASEAN5 export data, before and after pandemic. Panel cointegration model (FMOLS and DOLS) is applied to determine the long-term relationship between exports and pandemic. During pandemic, energy exports performance (such as coal, natural gas, and oil) decreased. In general, machineries (HS 84) also experienced a decline in export performance. On the other hand, exports of palm oil and gold were able to grow positively. Exports of the electrical equipment (HS 85) were also able to grow positively for most countries. FMOLS and DOLS models showed a long-term relationship between exports and the pandemic. Furthermore, pandemic and real exchange rate have a negative relationship with exports while economic liquidity (M2) has a positive effect on exports.
