Abstract

The green betel plant (Piper betle L.) is a type of plant that is widely used as herbal medicine in the community. This research aims to identify secondary metabolites and antioxidants in green betel leaves. Betel leaves (Piper betle L.) were extracted using the maceration method using 96% ethanol solvent. The thick extract obtained from maceration will be fractionated using the liquid-liquid method using distilled water and n-hexane (1:1). Secondary metabolite and antioxidant compound testing was carried out to determine the secondary metabolite content in simplicia, extracts and fractions of green betel leaves (Piper betle L.). The results of testing secondary metabolite compounds showed that green betel leaves were detected to contain alkaloids, flavonoids, phenolics, polyphenols and saponins. Based on antioxidant tests that have been carried out, betel leaf extract (Piper betle L.) contains antioxidants because it can neutralize free radical solutions.

Abstract

Croffle stands for Croissant and Waffle, which is a food made from croissant dough cooked using a waffle maker. The purpose of this study was to determine the nutritional content and preference level of panelists for croffle formulated with katuk leaves. The first factor was the difference in the proportion of katuk leaves from the three concentrations, while the second factor was the difference in the proportion of MOCAF flour consisting of the three concentrations. Then each evaluation was carried out twice. The organoleptic data analysis used was the hedonic test with texture, shape, aroma and color test parameters. Further tests were carried out with Duncan's test. Proximate test was performed on all products. The croffle formulation that many panelists liked was the F0 sample, namely without the addition of katuk leaves. Meanwhile, from the evaluation that has been carried out, the sample that has good nutritional quality is F3, meaning that there is the addition of katuk leaves at a concentration of 10%. Based on the research results, katuk leaves and mocaf flour have a significant effect on the formula and assessment of croffle as a healthy food. The croffle formulation that many panelists liked was the F0 sample, which means without the addition of katuk leaves. Meanwhile, from the evaluation that has been carried out, the sample that has good nutritional quality is F3, meaning that there is the addition of katuk leaves at a concentration of 10%.

Abstract

Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that requires continuous medical care. Diabetes mellitus is defined as a disease or chronic metabolic disorder with multiple etiologies. It is characterized by high blood sugar levels accompanied by impaired carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolisms as a result of insulin insufficiency. The prevalence of people with diabetes mellitus increases constantly every year. Insulin is one of the therapeutic options formed by PERKENI and PAPDI to treat hyperglycemic patients, both outpatients and inpatients. The purpose of this study is to find the cost-efficiency by sharing the insulin dispensed following rules of aseptic dispensing for inpatients at Tebet General Hospital. The method of the study was an observational study with a descriptive design. Data were obtained from the pharmacy installation of sterile medication mixing forms for inpatients who used shared insulin from January to September 2023. 81% of 121 hospitalized patients who were diagnosed with diabetes mellitus used insulin as the therapy. The cost-effectiveness review stated that the use of shared insulin which was dispensed aseptically could save insulin dispensing costs with an average savings 33% or Rp.1,435,943,- per month. It concludes that the use of shared insulin which is dispensed aseptically for inpatient care can save patient care costs and insulin dispensing costs at the pharmacy installation of the hospital. Keywords: cost-efficiency, Diabetes Mellitus, inpatient, shared insulin, aseptic dispensing,

Abstract

Introduction: The development of machine learning-based technology has been utilized in various fields of science ranging from education to social work. The field of health science is one that utilizes the application of machine learning technology, this can be proven by the development of technology that helps in the analysis of treatment and chemical compounds of drugs. The bibliometric analysis aims to provide a visualization of related literature metadata on the topic of machine learning for the analysis of chemical compounds of drugs. Methods: The method used was literature collection using the Pubmed database with the keywords "(machine learning) AND (drug structure)". Exclusion factors applied for the search were document type, document access, and publication year. The literature obtained was analyzed bibliometrically using Biblioshiny by Bibliometrix. Bibliometric analysis was analyzed in three clusters. Result: Bibliometric analysis is widely developed by researchers, it can be seen from the number of articles published by researchers. This analysis identified research by 8,301 authors from 79 countries. The largest number of articles relevant to the topic is found in the Scientific Report journal. Conclusion: The utilization of machine learning has grown rapidly in the last 10 years. Bibliometric analysis with Biblioshiny provides a precise visualization of these developments. The bibliometric analysis identified research trends by 8,301 authors from 79 countries between 2014 and 2024. The highest number of publications per year occurred in 2023 and researcher continuity started from 2020. Keywords and collaboration analysed using node and edge from Louvain scheme.
