Abstract

The objective of this study is to investigate to which extend does Enterprise Risk Management Advanced (ERMADV) implementation impacts the firm performance and the moderated value by ESG performance. The assessment of ERMADV implementation level is conducted by using eight components derived from governance and firm operating activities with related measurements on Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) principle and COSO ERM-Integrated Framework. Board Gender Diversity, Board of Commissioner Size, Firm Size, Leverage and Return on Equity (ROE) were further included in this study as control variables. This study focuses on the manufacture and mining industry registered on the Indonesia Stock Exchange website from year 2015 to 2021. The findings of this research indicate that ERMADV significantly affects firm performance and value. In addition, it is discovered that ESG plays a moderating influence. Furthermore, ESG suggests that an advanced ERM framework will prioritize risks associated with ESG-related aspects to find out whether or not it is resilient and integrated. As a result, this strategy will direct organizations in developing ethical decision-making strategies, thus, improving financial performance and firm value.

Abstract

This research aims to confirm the effect of Work Environment and Training as exogenous variables by using Organizational Culture and Motivation as intervening variables on Performance. The quantitative method with three substructures is used. The population consists of 190 employees, 130 of which are researched using the Morgan table and 30 respondents are assigned to measure the validity and reliability. The results of this study reveal: work environment and training affect the variables of Organizational Culture, Motivation, and Performance; Training affects Organizational Culture and Motivation but not Performance variables; Organizational Culture Affects Performance, and Motivation does not affect Performance. Indirect effects: work environment variables affect Performance through organizational culture variables but do not affect Performance through Motivation. Training variables affect Performance through Organizational Culture but do not affect Performance through Motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the nexus between social, environmental, legal, governance dimensions and the economic development in order to achieve SDGS in Indonesia. The research uses quantitative methods with the primary data in the form of the SDGS Achievement indicators obtained from the 2015 to 2022 Indonesia National Planning Agency and Central Bureau of Statistics. The data analysis techniques are SEM-PLS bootstrapping, with confidence interval of 5%. The results showed that social, environmental, legal and governance development have a positive influence on economic development towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development goals. All the results of the t-test exceed 1.96, the P Values, which denote the level of significance required, are below 0.05, and the adjusted R Square has the value of 0.888 (88.8%), which suggests that its capability to clarify the correlation between social, environmental, law, governance and the economic development variable is robust, with an 88.8% level of accuracy. The implication of this research that economic growth has brought about many benefits for Indonesia, also proved to have significant impacts on various aspects of society, including the environment, social structures, law, and governance. It is critical to note that policymakers and stakeholders work together to address these challenges and to ensure that the development is sustainable and equitable for all Indonesians.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of halal certification and web design on purchase intention mediated by brand trust in e-commerce of halal cosmetic consumers in Bandung Raya. The novelty of the research is the combination of the independent variables namely halal certification and web design taken from the previous research, with the Greater Bandung area as the research location. The instrument used as the data collection tool comprising 123 respondents who are the consumers of halal cosmetics, aged 15 to 64 to be assessed in this study. The technique of determining the sample, the number of samples and the data analysis techniques can be adjusted to the object of research conducted for further researches. The analytical tools to test the instrument data are validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests and Sobel tests with SPSS version 25 software tools. Of the 7 proposed research hypotheses, 6 hypotheses are supported by empirical data. The results of this study can also be useful for object managers who are assessed regarding the design of strategies or programs that are relevant to improve the quality of these attributes.

Abstract

Employee performance (EP) is one of the supporting factors in improving the quality of tertiary institutions to support improving services to the academic community. The phenomena in this study are employee dissatisfaction triggered by inadequate non-physical work environment policies, unclear opportunities for career development, and low levels of work motivation which affect performance effectiveness. To what extend are non-physical work environment (NP), career development, and WM on EPer interrelated? A few researchers have explored such relation, especially in the scope of higher education, however, it is inadequate. This study uses different types of data, qualitative and quantitative, whereas the sample and the population comprised civil servants of echelon III and IV at Hasanuddin University with a total of 120 respondents. As for the data analyses method, a multiple linear regression is implemented. The findings showed that NP variables, career development, and WM have a significant effect on EPer. These indicate that career development has a dominant effect on EPer. The results of the study contribute to the development of theory and practice in the areas of work psychology and human resources management.

Abstract

High levels of work stress (WS) can significantly lower work motivation (WM) as the energy is prone to deplete, causing burnout, and undermining employees’ belief to succeed in their career. On the other hand, low motivation level makes them more susceptible to experiencing WS and less resilient in coping with stressful situations. Thus, what is the connection between WS and WM on employee performance (EPf)? In fact, there are still few researches discussing the issue, particularly in telecommunications companies and this became the background for this study. To conduct the research, qualitative and quantitative data are used. The population comprised all employees of PT Hutchison 3 Indonesia (H3I) Makassar Branch who also become a sample or census sampling. For the data collection, a survey method is implemented with multiple linear regression as its technique of analysis. The results showed that the variables of WS and WM had a positive and significant impact on EPf. All research hypotheses are declared accepted, which indicates that an increase in the variables of WS and WM will improve EPf. The findings contribute to the development of theory and practice in the fields of performance and human resources management.

Abstract

Fraudulent behavior includes any unethical or harmful behavior that affects people, organizations, and environment. The purpose of this study is to examine how internal control, as well as sensitivity and morality can prevent fraud from occurring. There are four state-owned banks participating in this study. To collect the data, questionnaires were distributed to and completed by 100 workers of state-owned banks. Additionally, this study implemented multiple linear regression analysis as its methodology. The findings of this study demonstrate that internal control has a positive and significant impact on preventing fraud with a t count > t table, specifically 4.239 > 1.66023 with a significance value of 0.000, less than 0.05, and moral sensitivity has a positive and significant impact on preventing fraud with a t count > t table, specifically 1.998 > 1.66023 with a significance value of 0.048, less than 0.05.

The research methodology is a quantitative descriptive approach comprising 120 respondents who are the visitors of the tourist sites. About 20 respondents are measured by the validity and the reliability testing, whereas 100 respondents will participate in the path analysis test. The findings reveal that tourism attractiveness has a positive influence on the tourism image. Similarly, the service quality positively affects the tourism image. In addition, tourism attractiveness has a positive impact on visitor satisfaction, as the service quality does. The tourism image acts as a mediator between tourism attractiveness and visitor satisfaction, aside from its direct effects. The results emphasize the significance in maintaining and enhancing tourism attractiveness and service quality to improve the tourism image and visitor satisfaction. In the context of developing a tourism village, it is crucial to consider these factors in order to deliberately create a positive experience for tourists and to effectively promote the tourism destination.
