Abstract

The paper establishes and analyzes research regarding community needs for the concept of rest areas on the Trans Sumatra Toll Road Section of Tebing Tinggi - Parapat. The background of the research is due to the fact that the current planning of rest areas is still not effective yet in concept and does not pay much attention to the commercial aspect. Even though with the optimal commercial side of the rest area, the cost of maintaining the rest area can be funded from the income earned. Thus, the Company does not need to incur additional costs for maintenance, considering the Company's financial burden due to the construction of JTTS which is not financially feasible. The analysis used in this study is the Analytic Network Process (ANP) Model which will later be divided into 3 clusters namely the destination cluster, the criteria cluster, and the alternative cluster. The objective cluster is the final goal to be achieved in this study. Cluster criteria is the assessment criteria used in this study based on analysis of existing benchmark rest areas, literature studies, and expert validation. Alternative cluster is development options obtained from the results of the highest and best use analysis.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the market risks encountered by transportation sector companies listed in emerging Asian market countries, as well as the correlation of risks among these companies. Additionally, the study aims to provide a forecasting simulation for the stock prices over the next 100 days. Historical data on daily stock price changes prior to and following the Covid-19 pandemic are utilized. The research methodology employs a normal GARCH model to assess stock volatility, while market risk is determined using the expected shortfall (ES) approach. The Pearson method is employed to calculate the correlation of risks between companies. The forecasting simulation is conducted using the GARCH(1,1) approach for specification and fitting. The findings of this study reveal that transportation sector issuers have exhibited varied responses to the Covid-19 pandemic based on their specific sub-sectors. The correlation between issuers generally demonstrates low values; however, the stock markets of China and Taiwan display a strong positive correlation within the same sub-sector. Future stock price movements over the next 100 days are anticipated to align with the trend observed during the latter part of 2022.

Abstract

Recently, both in Indonesia and globally, social media has become increasingly important, especially in the use of the Instagram platform. One of the interesting industries to discuss is the fashion brand industry. The development of fashion is so fast, and along with the increasing use of the Instagram platform in the community, Instagram is a means of selling and promoting fashion products that are marketed to the public. The research that the authors conducted started with the high use of Instagram, the fast development of fashion brands around the world, and their own attractiveness to society. From this phenomenon, the authors have determined the purpose of this study, among others, to find out how Instagram social media marketing activities influence customer satisfaction, perceived value, and repeat purchase intentions. Meanwhile, this study proposes the effect of perceived value on customer satisfaction and repeat purchase intention. The final paper considers the impact of customer satisfaction on repeat purchase intentions. This study uses an online survey of 135 Instagram users who have made purchases online for fashion products to examine the effect of SMMA on perceived value and customer satisfaction. The results of the analysis use partial least squares with smart PLS. Consistent with previous research, only three statements in the hypothesis were accepted, SMMA had a positive effect on CS and PV, then CS had a significant effect on CI, and indirectly, the SMMA variable had a positive and significant impact on CI.
