Abstract

The new term of specialization used in curriculum 2013 (K-13) raised several issues. The specialization chose by the students in Grade X are found not linear with major they chose in Grade XI. Therefore, this research aimed to probe several questions in the following: (a) how is the procedure of declaring a major in SMAN 1 Tulungagung?; (b) how is the policy of shifting the specialization to major?; (c) what are the impacts of choosing a major in SMAN 1 Tulungagung?. In answering those questions, a descriptive qualitative method was employed in this research. It was concluded that (a) the procedure of declaring a major for students was not appropriate due to the interference of conceptions from several parties which has not reached a decision. Therefore, reconsidering the procedure in details which has been decided by the leader flown to the students and their guardians is needed. (b) Policy concerning the re-arrangement of specialization to major set aside numerous undetected problems and (c) the impacts of choosing major in SMAN 1 Tulungagung decreased students’ interest in learning particularly for social science students aside from discrimination that they faced.

Abstract

The author developed a concept of learning interactive multimedia fashion by utilizing Information Technology (IT). The learning process by utilizing technology will make learning methods more passionate for students, so that students continue to be motivated to learn the subject of Dress Design. All learning components by the author are then arranged in a framework of Interactive Multimedia learning strategies "KOPAJA" (Communication, Participation, Network). This problem-solving strategy framework is translated into a real work paper and compiled as one of the written actions that can be useful as a breakthrough in addressing the problems above.

Abstract

In order to create an effective and innovative historical learning model, an active learning model in learning needs to be developed in order to improve learning achievement. The activeness function in learning is considered important to function the brain optimally, in order to critically analyze text in learning. As writing that uses a qualitative approach to the type of case studies with research sites at SMAN 1 Cidahu. Sources of research data from informants, events, and documents. Data collection techniques by observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis through single case data analysis. Checking the validity of the data through triangulation, research extension, and peer discussion. This paper seeks to explore and analyze in terms of effectiveness, starting from planning active learning models of historical learning, implementing learning with active learning models in history learning, and evaluating learning outcomes. The results showed that the learning model of active learning in history learning is done with the stages of learning planning, learning implementation, and learning evaluation. The results of implementing this active learning model students are able to develop their learning achievement.

Abstract

Children aged 3-6 years have a hidden potential to become a good reader. At this age children are easy to recognize letters because it is necessary to choose the right type of game that is suitable for the development of children's learning to read. The ability to read the beginning at PAUD TARAM has not been as successful as expected. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out in order to increase the ability to read the beginning. One way to do this is to use letter running games. This type of research is classroom action research. The research model used is Kemmis and Mc. Taggart using two cycles. Each cycle is carried out in two meetings. The subjects of this study were 19 children. The object of this research is to increase the ability to read the beginning using running letters. Data collection method is done through observation and documentation. The data analysis technique was carried out in a descriptive qualitative and quantitative manner. The results showed that there was an increase in initial reading skills. The increase in the ability to read the beginning can be seen based on the increased percentage of pre-action children who are only 0% m4 has an increase of 21.05% in the first cycle in the second cycle increased 84.21%.

Abstract

After the issuance of Minister of Education and Culture Regulation No. 23 of 2017 concerning School Day is a problem for students and teachers in the process of learning interaction, especially those with learning hours at the end of the day of learning. Generally students are exhausted and lack enthusiasm to follow the series of learning in class. In these crucial hours the teacher is required to be creative in order to manage the learning class well and effectively. The use of the digital game approach by utilizing the kahoot.it application is used to see the progress of learning interactions as they arise. This research uses a qualitative approach to the type of case study. Data were collected by means of observation and interviews with research informants who have been determined to accommodate the heterogeneous of the research subjects. Data analysis was performed by interactive data analysis, while triangulation and extension of observation were used to obtain valid data. The results showed that the use of kahoot.it as a game-based innovative learning media was able to arouse the enthusiasm of learning and increase student achievement. The kahoot.it application that can display competitive evaluation of learning designs student achievement and prestige in learning interactions

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: 1) Menganalisis proses pengembangan feature video untuk media pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran IPS pada kelas VII SMP Negeri Pagerwojo dengan pokok bahasan keragaman flora di indonesia (Ekosistem Hutan  Mangrove/ Bakau di Kabupaten Trenggalek). 2) Mengetahui Bagaimana kelayakan feature video sebagai  pembelajaran dalam mata pelajaran IPS dilihat dari hasil pengujian pada peserta didik kelas VII SMP Negeri Pagerwojodengan pokok bahasan keragaman flora di indonesia (Ekosistem Hutan  Mangrove/Bakau di Kabupaten Trenggalek). Jenis penelitian ini merupakan Research and Development (RD) dengan metode pengembangan menggunakan model ADDIE merupakan singkatan yang mengacu pada proses-proses utama dari proses pengembangan sistem pembelajaran yaitu : Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), dan Evaluation (evaluasi). Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis feature vidio dengan empat tahap, yaitu : 1) Analisis Kebutuhan, 2) Desain, 3) Implementasi, dan4) Pengujian. Penentuan tingkat kelayakan media pembelajaran berbasis feature vidio berdasarkanuji validasi para ahli dan uji coba kepada siswa melaui angket.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kelayakan dalam kategori layak berdasarkan uji  yang dilakukan oleh ahli isi sebesar 82,50 % dan 83,88 % dengan 30 butir soal penilaian. Sedangkan uji yang dilakukan kepada ahli media sebesar 84,62 % dengan 13 butir soal penilaian masuk dalam kategori layak. Kemudian uji yang dilakukan kepada perorangan sebesar 85,16 % masuk dalam kategori layak dijadikan sebagai media pembelajaran. Meskipun sudah di anggap layak sebagai media pembelajaran namun masih ada beberapa bagian yang masih dilakukan revisi untuk mendapatkan hasil yang maksimal atas saran yang di berikan oleh ahli media.

Abstract

Quizlet merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran berbasis aplikasi android yang dapat digunakan kepada peserta didik secara terbatas, yaitu, penggunaannya oleh guru yang diberikan materinya berupa pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan pembelajaran dan kisi-kisi soal yang akan dihadapai oleh peserta didik kelas VIIIK SMP Negeri 1 Sumbergempol pada mata pelajaran IPS. Pemberian quizlet ini dilakukan secara bertahap sehingga penyerapan kepada peserta didik dapat lebih cepat dan terstruktur. Penggunaan media pembelajaran sangat bermanfaat kepada peserta didik karena dapat dikembangkan dengan memasukan (input) materi pelajaran dalam bentuk soal-soal yang melingupi bagian penting sub pelajaran. Aplikasi quizlet ini juga merupakan sarana penyalur pesan dan informasi belajar. Dan juga sebagai daya tarik pembelajaran yang menggunakan teknologi informasi dirancang secara baik untuk membantu peserta didik dalam mencerna dan memahami materi pelajaran. Pada dasarya penelitian ini menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental Research, dengan menggunakan subjek penelitian dalam bentuk kelompok (kelas) VIIIK SMP Negeri 1 Sumbergempol pada mata pelajaran IPS dengan proses pembelajaran yang dilakukan menggunakan metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) dan Discovery Learning (DL) yang masih konvensional dalam penyampaian pembelajarannya. Sebagai populasi, kelas ini dianggap sudah memiliki pengetahuan tentang pembelajaran berbasis android, hal ini terlihat dari quizlet yang diajuan pada saat pre-test. Variabel yang diungkap dalam penelitian ini adalah respon belajar, terhadap aplikasi quizlet pembelajaran kepada peserta didik kelas VIIIK. Selanjutnya desain penelitian yang diterapkan dalam penelitian ini adalah The pre-test dan post-test control group design.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the relationship between students' attitudes towards the implementation of occupational health and safety (K3) in the catering work practice at SMK Negeri 1 Pogalan. (2) The relationship between students' mastery of occupational health and safety materials on the implementation of occupational health and safety (K3) in the public works practice at SMK 1 Pogalan (3) The relationship between student attitudes and student mastery of occupational health and safety material (K3) on the implementation of occupational health and safety (K3) in the public food shop practicum at SMK 1 Pogalan. This research was classified as a correlational descriptive study. The population in this study included all class X JBG1 students, the culinary majors of SMK Negeri 1 Pogalan Trenggalek Regency in the 2015/2016 School Year Odd Semester of 30 people. The results showed: (1) that students who had a positive attitude about K3 were very high at (56%), (2) students who had mastery about K3 material with a very high category of (52.6%), (3) students who have K3 implementation in the workshop with the sang category

Abstract

The research objective is to determine the application of the teacher in the cultivation of discipline character education in children, the application of students after instilling character education as well as factors that inhibit the cultivation of discipline character education in students. Discipline character education is compliance with regulations and prevailing norms accompanied by awareness. Various kinds of disciplinary violations, skipping school, not doing the teacher's work, disrupting other classes, cheating, being late, bringing toys to class, fighting with friends. The study was conducted in SDN 02 Serut Kecamatan Boyolangu Kabupaten Tulungagung, the type of research used was descriptive qualitative with methods of collecting data on observation, interviews, documentation, field notes. The process of data analysis through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the study of character education planting were carried out through appeals carried out during the Monday flag ceremony and teachers in planting students through an understanding of students about the importance of character education, factors that inhibit from outside and within the family and themselves.

Abstract

Developments that have been planned at the sub-district level by sub-district government officials often do not go as expected.  Therefore, what is the potential of the area if the implementing apparatus does not understand the integration of development, automatically the development goals of the sub-district will not be achieved as expected.  Several villages or sub-districts and headed by a Camat, have the main task of implementing regional techniques that have certain work areas and also have functions.  At this writing the research was conducted in Tamiang Hulu District, Aceh Tamiang Regency, about how the role of the sub-district government in the implementation of physical development.  The results of this study explain that the role of the sub-district in physical development in the Tamiang Hulu sub-district begins with the preparation of a program of development activities held at the village level, where each village carries out Musrenbang.  The results of the village development plan deliberation (Musrenbangdes) are submitted to the sub-district government, thus the role of the sub-district is as a facilitator in carrying out development starting from forming meetings and inviting community leaders to participate in the planning
