Abstract

The experiment was conducted with the aim the efficacy testing effectiveness of mixed herbicide with the active Pendimetalin 150 g/l + Metolaklor 300 g/l + Oksifluorfen 50 g/l in controlling Cyperus sp, Digitaria adscendens, Ageratum conyzoides, Portulaca virosa and other weeds in onion. The experiment was carried out in the field of Gebang Village, Babakan Subdistrict, Cirebon, Wast Java. Field experiment was started from Mei 2020 - July 2020. The design was used with randomized block design (RCBD) consist of eight treatments with four replications. The treatments tested were mixed herbicide at 1.0 l/ha, 1.5 l/ha, 2.0 l/ha, 2,50 l/ha, 3.0 l/ha, 3.5 l/ha, manual weeding and Untreated control (without herbicide). Result showed that mixed herbicide at 1.0 to 3.5 l/ha were effective to control Cyperus sp, Digitaria adscendens, Ageratum conyzoides, Portulaca virosa and other weeds in onion up to 6 WAA. mixed herbicide at the rate tested at 1.0 to 3.5 l/ha did not show crop safety issue to onion crops, no negative impact on number of tillers at vegetative stages, and it shown optimizing potential onion yield at 9,34 to 11,22 kg/plot.

Abstract

The experiment was conducted to know the effect of pruning time shoots and concentration ethepon on the growth and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) cultivar Wulan. The experiment was conducted at Sangkanurip Village, Cigandamekar District, Kuningan, West Java Province, from March until May 2018. The experimental design was used Randomized Complete Block Design (RBD) with factorial pattern. Each treatment was repeated three timer. The treatment consisted two factors. The first factor is time pruning shoots which consist three levels : P0 (without pruning), P1 (age 15 DAP pruning), P2 (age 20 DAP pruning), while the second factor is the concentration ethepon which consists four levels : E0 (0 ppm), E1 (100 ppm), E2 (200 ppm), E3 (300 ppm). The results showed that there was a significnt interaction effect between pruning time shoots and concentration ethepon on plant high (27 and 24 days after planting), number of leafs (27, 34, and 41 days after planting), and total weight per plant. Independently, time pruning shoots gave significant effect on plant high (41 days after planting), number of male flowers, number of fruit per plant. While concentration ethepon gave a real effect on number of male flowers, number of female flowers, ratio of female flowers and number of fruits. There is a significant correlation between the number of leafs age 27 DAP (days after planting) the results of the total weight per plot.

Abstract

Percobaan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pupuk mikro majemuk Pupuk Mikro terhadap pertumbuhan tanaman karet dipembibitan pada tanah inceptisol Jatinangor telah dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Kultur Terkendali Fakultas Pertanian UNPAD pada bulan Januari sampai bulan September 2019. Pengujian mengunakan rancangan Acak Kelompok dengan 8 perlakuan diulang 4 kali. Perlakuan terdiri dari kontrol (tanpa pemupukan); NPK stndar; NPK+Pupuk Mikro 0,5 g/pohon; NPK+Pupuk Mikro 1,0 g/pohon; NPK+Pupuk Mikro 1,5 g/pohon; NPK+Pupuk Mikro 2,0 g/pohon; NPK+Pupuk Mikro 2,5 g/pohon, NPK+Pupuk Mikro 3,0 g/pohon. Hasil pengujian menunjukan Aplikasi pupuk mikro dengan dosis 1,5 sd 2,5 g/pohon dapat meningkatkan tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, bobot segar dan bobot keing bibit tanaman karet sampai 6 BST. Aplikasi pupuk mikro dengan dosis 2 g/pohon efektif meningkatkan bobot tanaman karet umur 6 BST di pembibitan pada tanah inseptisol asal jatinangor, dibandingkan dengan perlakuan pupuk NPK standar dengan nilai RAE 151 %.

Abstract

Soybean cultivation can be done in monoculture or intercropping systems. The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and yield of soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merill) on intercropping with sweet corn (Zea mays Saccharata). This experiment was carried out in Getasan Village, Depok District, Cirebon Regency, from April to July 2019. The experimental method used was Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD), with cultivars as treatments. The treatments consisted of nine soybean cultivars, namely: Agromulyo, Anjasmoro, Baluran, Burangrang, Dega 1, Ring 1, Devon 1, Grobogan, and Willis. The plot size used is 2m x 3m. Soybean spacing is 25 cm x 25 cm, whereas sweet corn is 75 cm x 25 cm. Corn is planted 10 days after planting soybeans. The results showed that there were significant effects of nine cultivars intercropped with sweet corn on the variables tested, except for the number of trifoliate leaves, stem diameter and leaf area. Grobogan's cultivar soybeans gave better growth and yields than other cultivars with a dry seed weight of 2.07 kg plot-1.

Abstract

Management of the environment which is gripped by saline is very necessary to increase the yield of rice. The research was carried out in the farmers' land of Indramayu-West Java district in February - July 2019 using a split plot design with 3 replications. The variety used is Inpari 34. The treatment is gypsum dossage and organic matter. The results showed that the management of saline environmental stress by giving gypsum and organic matter did not affect plant growth including the number of tillers, leaf greenness value and yield on rice. Gypsum 1 ton/ha will provide maximum results 2,375 tons/ha dried grain if accompanied by the provision of 4 tons of organic matter/ha. Gypsum 1 ton/ha with organic matter more than 4 tons/ha will reduce rice yield. Gypsum application of 3 tons / ha reaches 2,6792 tons ha without the provision of organic matter.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the appropriate rice cultivation and cropping patterns in the rainy and dry seasons and to find out the analysis of rice farming in the rainy and dry seasons. The time of the research is from January to April 2019. The research location was in the village of Cirebon Girang, Talun District, Cirebon. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The results showed that rice cultivation in the rainy and dry seasons experienced differences especially in fertilization, different plant disturbing organisms, different cropping patterns from the two farmer groups, as well as the highest farming business analysis in the Talun Makmur Rainy Season Farmer group Rp. 22,772,885 and the lowest farming business is the Tanjung Makmur farmer group. Rainy season Rp. 17,044,044. While the large profits obtained in the Talun Makmur Rainy season farmers group of Rp. 24,718,667.
