Abstract

In management studies, the presence of educational conflicts cannot be separated from the daily problems felt by managers of educational institutions. This conflict occurs because the school is a gathering place for a variety of complex characteristics and characteristics, which meet with interactions within the school environment. SMK Darul Karomah is one of the vocational schools in the Randuagung area, Singosari, Malang which has good conflict management. This SMK is different from schools in general, where this school has certain steps or strategies in overcoming and preventing conflicts among students, or conflicts that occur inside or outside the school. One of the conflict management strategies contained in SMK Darul Karomah is the existence of School Culture.Based on the cases taken, the formulation of the research problem is to describe how the form of school culture at SMK Darul Karomah and to describe how school culture is a preventive and solution action in conflict management at SMK Darul Karomah. In this study, the method used is qualitative research located at SMK Darul Karomah Randuagung. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was carried out by collecting data which was then selected and simplified according to research findings, by presenting data that could be drawn conclusions. The data validity checking techniques used by the author in this study include: credibility, transfrability, independence, and confirmability.The results of this study can be concluded that: 1) school culture at SMK Darul Karomah has a pesantrenan nuance, there are daily, weekly, monthly and annual activities considering that this vocational school is in the middle of Darul Karomah Islamic boarding school. 2) school culture as a preventive and solution action in conflict management at SMK Darul Karomah in the form of cultivating habits, ishlah, tabayyun and punishment with pesantren nuances.

Abstract

Communicating using Arabic is an obligation that must be done by students at Daruttauhid Islamic Boarding School in Malang. In implementing this policy it is necessary to have a figure to emulate who can also guide, and direct the civitas in shaping the Arabic language environment so that all process activities are carried out properly and smoothly. The purpose of this study is to describe the leadership and efforts of the head of Islamic boarding school in implementing the Arabic language environment program along with its supporting and inhibiting factors. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with the type of case study research, where the research location is Daruttauhid Islamic Boarding School Malang. The data is obtained directly from the head of the hut and other competent parties in the hut. The process of collecting data uses interview observation and documentation techniques which are analyzed descriptively through the editing process with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of this study indicate that (1) The leadership of Islamic boarding school heads in Daruttauhid Islamic Boarding School in Malang in implementing Arabic language programs using the type of authoritarian leadership that can be seen in the programs and regulations of Islamic boarding schools that run in an orderly and conducive manner and and sometimes with democratic leadership it can be seen with the monthly meetings and harmonious relations between the head of the hut with the religious teachers and students.(2) The efforts of the head of the boarding school at the Daruttauhid in developing an Arabic language environment program include forming a santri organization namely language section, holding Arabic conversation, provisioning Arabic vocabulary, additional lessons for basic class, Arabic speech training, watching films in Arabic. (3) Supporting factors that can launch this Arabic-language environmental activity are the religious teachers here are the majority of Middle Eastern graduate. The inhibiting factors are facing new students who cannot speak Arabic and students who are ashamed to express their words, the mixing of Indonesian or Javanese with Arabic.

Abstract

In the addition to the curriculum that is clearly written in the education program, Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor also implements a curriculum that relate to the transformation of student’s character, values, and morals. This curriculum is present in every student's social interaction and directly affect them.            This paper discusses a curriculum based on character, values, and morals in Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor. Namely matters relating to the transformation of morals, values and morals of students at Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor and social interaction of moral and values based curriculum at Modern Islamic Boarding School Darussalam Gontor.

Abstract

Principal's leadership is the process of how the principal in the process of leading or influencing his subordinates to do what he wants with the goals that have been agreed upon together, one of the principals' tasks is to manage school infrastructure, how school infrastructure becomes quality, school infrastructure is said to be of good quality if has met national standards, the purpose of this study is to describe how the leadership of school principals in improving the quality of infrastructure, describe the supporting and inhibiting factors for improving the quality of infrastructure, and describe the factors of how the benefits of improving the quality of infrastructure in Islamic junior high school Darussa'adah. This study uses descriptive qualitative, with research locations in Darussa'adah Gubugklakah Middle School, data collection using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis is performed by reducing the data, then presenting the data, and finally the compiled data is drawn to a conclusion, checking the validity of the data using creatibility which includes persistence of observations, extension of observations, and triangulation. The results of the analysis show that (1) the leadership of school principals in improving the quality of infrastructure in Darussa'adah Islamic Middle School is by processing existing funds to complement the lack of infrastructure, inviting all elements of the teaching staff to work together to complete the required infrastructure, submit proposals- proposals for requests for assistance, and use boss funds to complete infrastructure, (2) supporting factors for improving the quality of infrastructure, namely assistance from the government, support from foundations, and collaboration with committees, (3) The benefits of improving the quality of infrastructure are making it easier for students and also the teachers in teaching and learning activities, making all teaching and learning activities run smoothly, and foster a sense of joy in the school community so as to foster enthusiasm for students to learn.

Abstract

Pemimpin dan kepemimpinan merupakan dua persoalan keseharian yang saling berkaitan dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat, berorganisasi, berbangsa dan bernegara.Maju dan mundurnya masyarakat, organisasi maupun bangsa dan Negara dipengaruhi oleh para pemimpin dan kepemimpinannya.Islam sendiri sebagai agama rahmatan lil ‘alamin juga menempatkan persoalan pemimpin dan kepemimpinan sebagai salah satu persoalan pokok dalam ajarannya.Dalam al-Qur’an dan Hadits kepemimpinan mendapatkan porsi bahasan yang tidak sedikit, banyak ayat-ayat al-Qur’an maupun hadits-hadits Nabi yang membincang tentang kepemimpinan. Abstract

The existence of educational institutions depens on public interst, so that school are required to build a good image and good reputation of their educational institutations. Building a good image and good reputation of school on public requires a marketing. The marketing is not only how to intrpduce but also how tomake a feedback in the form of a sesnse of belonging the school, so the relationship between educatonal institutions and stakeholders are is well.The purpose of the research are: First, to describe the existing marketing in Sekolah Dasar Islam Baitul Makmur Malang. Second, to describe marketing optimalization for developing institutions in Sekolah Dasa Islam Batul Makmur malang.This study is qualitative research, case study type or field research. The method for collection the data are: observation, interviews and documentation. The analysis of data use; 1) data collection; 2) data condensation; 3) data presentation; 3) verification. The cheking of data use credibility and dependability.The results of this study are: 1) The marketing which used by Sekolah Dasar Islam Baitul Makmur Malang is implementation marketing mix, incuding product, price, place, promotion, physical evidence, people, and proses. 2) The optimalization of marketing is by make a special policy of every element marketing mix which pack those element marketing mix on promotion.

Abstract

Pada artikel ini berfokus pada usaha mendeksripsikan konsep kepemimpinan otoriter dari beberapa pustaka dan literatur yang kemudian ditelaah kembali dan mendekripsikan konsep kepemimpinan otoriter yang dianggap dapat diterapkan dalam lembaga pendidikan di sekolah atau madrasah. Dalam artikel ini, dasar dari kepemimpinan yang ideal dan dapat dikatakan berhasil, apabila dapat memenuhi arti kata kepemimpinan dan juga fungsi kepemimpinan. Arti dari kepemimpinan adalah mempengaruhi orang lain untuk berbuat sesuai dengan ketentuan untuk mencapai tujuan. Dari hal tersebut, terdapat unsur memaksakan sesuatu pada orang lain agar melakukan sesuatu, yang dapat dikatakan sebagai bagian dari sifat otoriter yang bahkan menjadi arti dari kepemimpinan itu sendiri. Kepemimpinan otoriter dianggap sebagai cara atau gaya pemimpin yang memaksakan segala kebijakkan untuk diputuskan oleh dirinya sendiri dan harus dilaksanakan para anggota yang dipimpinnya, tanpa mau mendengarkan aspirasi dari para anggotanya. Tetapi dari studi atau kajian pustaka yang telah dilakukan dan yang kemudian ditelaah kembali, terbentuklah konsep kepemimpinan otoriter yang mungkin akan bisa diterapkan pada lingkungan sekolah atau madrasah, dan berpotensi untuk meningkatkan kualitas dari sekolah atau madrasah. Konsep kepmimpinan otoriter ini menekankan pada penyeimbangan antara hal – hal secara mutlak harus dilakukan dengan hal –hal yang perlu dipertimbangkan atau ditoleransi. Terdapat 5 (lima) point yang menjadi fokus utama dalam konsep kepemimpinan otoriter ini, yaitu bersedia mendengarkan keresahan warga sekolah, Kepala Sekolah menjadi teladan untuk para warga sekolah, Kepala Sekolah membuka diri tentang perspektif warga sekolah, Kepala Sekolah melakukan evaluasi diri, dan Kepala Sekolah berusaha memberikan toleransi pada hal – hal tertentu pada kondisi – kondisi tertentu.

Abstract

Dalam suatu pekerjaan atau kegiatan terdapat bagian yang sangat penting yang diharuskan ada di setiap pekerjaan atau kegiatan yang biasa disebut dengan bagian manajemen. Dalam sebuah bagian manajemen terdapat kerangka pencapaian tujuan yang dapat dikelompokkan dalam beberapa tingkat manajemen, yaitu Top Management, Middle Management, and Lower Management yang dapat mempermudah pembagian dan pengelolaan tanggung jawab dan penugasan pada setiap kelompok yang dibentuk. Dalam pengelompokan tingkat manajemen tersebut, berdampak pada tipe tanggung jawab dan tugas yang berbeda-beda dari pelaku atau pelaksana yang secara umum disebut dengan manager. Tingkat manajemen dalam organisasi akan membagi manajer menjadi tiga golongan yang berbeda, yaitu Manajer Lini Pertama, Manajer Menengah, dan Manajer Puncak yang memiliki tanggung jawab dan tugas yang berbeda-beda pula.Berdasarkan pernyataan tersebut, dalam proses pelaksanaan manajemen terdapat manajer yang bertanggung jawab untuk pelaksanaan sebuah program manajemen. Dalam hal ini manajer akan melakukan berbagai aktivitas yang dibentuk dari beberapa kegiatan tertentu yang disebut dengan fungsi – fungsi manajemen yang telah disusun dan disepakati sebelum sebuah program manajemen dimulai. Fungsi – fungsi manajemen tersebut adalah faktor yang berperan cukup besar dalam menentukan persentase tercapainya tujuan dari sebuah program manajemen.

Abstract

AbstrakDewasa ini dunia dikejutkan dengan wabah covid-19 yang berasal dari negara China yang kemudian menyebar ke hampir seluruh penjuru dunia. Pandemi covid-19 yang melanda dunia saat ini berdampak signifikan terhadap berbagai aspek; ekonomi social-budaya dan pendidikan. Dalam situasi yang tidak biasa ini, para pemimpin dalam berbagai level memberikan respon dengan cepat mulai dari kebijakan social distancing, physical distancing, bekerja dari rumah hingga kebiajakan belajar dari rumah. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai tindakan pemimpin dalam menjalankan manajemen krisis di tengah pandemi covid-19. Manajemen krisis dibutuhkan agar keberlangsungan organisasi tetap berjalan ditengah ketidakpastian berakhirnya krisis kesehatan. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam artikel ini adalah studi pustaka, dimana penulis menggali berbagai literatur dan hasil-hasil penelitian dari berbagai jurnal internasional. Dalam artikel ini ditemukan bahwa setidaknya manajemen krisis yang berhasil dipandu oleh seorang pemimpin yang visioner, berkarakter sejati yang memiliki solusi dalam menghadapi ancaman sebelum, pada saat dan sesudah krisis.
