Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan media kreatif bertema pengelompokkan hewan dalam mengembangkan kemampuan kognitif anak usia dini di TK As-Shulthon Karawang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa hasil observasi, dokumentasi serta laporan dari PPL Mahasiswa. Data primer diperoleh secara langsung dari subjek penelitian yakni peserta didik di TK As- Shulton Karawang.Media kreatif berbasis alat permainan edukatif (APE) digunakan dalam kegiatan bermain sambil belajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media kreatif mampu meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif anak, terutama dalam mengelompokkan, mengenal ukuran dan jumlah, serta berpikir logis. Pembelajaran menjadi lebih menarik dan mendorong keterlibatan aktif anak. Penelitian ini menjadi penting karena memberikan gambaran nyata tentang implementasi media kreatif dalam pembelajaran PAUD, khususnya di TK As-Shulthon Karawang, serta menjawab kebutuhan akan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih menarik, bermakna, dan sesuai dengan dunia anak.
