Abstract

This article discusses the process of increasing bandwidth capacity in the SEA-US submarine cable system using Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM) technology, specifically the Ciena 6500 device. DWDM technology enables simultaneous transmission of multiple optical signals within a single optical fiber, thereby enhancing network capacity without additional physical infrastructure. This study includes the stages of survey, installation, and testing of the device to ensure performance meets standards. The results show that the system was successfully upgraded with adequate technical parameters and without errors during the Integrated Test Set (ITS) testing. These findings demonstrate the effectiveness of DWDM technology in addressing the growing demand for bandwidth. Keywords: Bandwidth; DWDM; Ciena 6500; Submarine Cable, SEA-US

Abstract

Community Service entitled the Santripreneur Program through Snack Repacking Business Idea Training at the La Tahzan Cinangka Depok Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School aims to foster the entrepreneurial spirit of students, identify effective ways to grow creative ideas into business opportunities, and explore approaches based on Islamic values ​​in developing entrepreneurship in Islamic boarding schools. This activity was carried out on March 20-21, 2025 at the La Tahzan Tahfidz Islamic Boarding School - Cinangka, Sawangan, Depok. The training activities began by providing training materials to 20 students, then a snack repacking technique training session by UNPAM lecturers from Accounting. The expected results are the growth of the entrepreneurial spirit of students, identification of effective ways to grow creative ideas into business opportunities, and exploration of Islamic value-based approaches in entrepreneurship.   Keywords: Santripreneur Program; Business Idea Training for Santri; Repacking Snacks

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) dengan tema Peningkatan Kapasitas UMKM Melalui Inovasi Pembukuan Sederhana: Solusi Penguatan Keuangan Usaha Mikro di Era Digital. UMKM merupakan sektor dominan dalam perekonomian Indonesia, namun masih menghadapi tantangan besar dalam pengelolaan keuangan, khususnya pada aspek pencatatan yang sistematis dan terdokumentasi. Banyak pelaku UMKM belum memiliki pemahaman dan keterampilan dasar dalam pembukuan, yang berdampak pada terbatasnya akses permodalan dan rendahnya profesionalitas usaha. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan pencatatan keuangan sederhana, baik manual maupun digital, kepada pelaku UMKM dan individu masyarakat. Metode kegiatan meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan interaktif, serta simulasi pembuatan laporan keuangan dasar menggunakan media sederhana seperti buku kas, Excel, dan aplikasi seperti BukuWarung. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta tentang pentingnya pencatatan keuangan, keterampilan dalam menggunakan alat pembukuan, serta kesadaran untuk memisahkan keuangan pribadi dan usaha. Inovasi pembukuan sederhana terbukti menjadi solusi strategis bagi UMKM dalam meningkatkan transparansi, akuntabilitas, dan daya saing usaha mereka di tengah tantangan digitalisasi ekonomi. Abstract

The Community Service activity conducted at Likely Café & Resto located in Depok City, West Java, is based on the partner's challenges in educating their employees about the importance of financial literacy. This activity is conducted to provide understanding and application of financial literacy to the partner's employees. The method used in this activity is a participatory approach in the form of case study discussions. The implementing team of the Community Service Activity from Pamulang University presented financial literacy material and discussed the correlation between financial literacy and the improvement of financial management. The results of the activity show an improvement in the financial literacy understanding of partner employees, so that in the future, employees can solve the financial management problems faced by SMEs and provide practical learning for students. Abstract

Community service is one of the implementations of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, aimed at making a real contribution to society. This activity is based on the importance of sustainable education to support the development of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). The partner in this activity is the manager of Likely Cafe, a local culinary business facing challenges in creating a sustainable business strategy. The purpose of this program is to provide education through interactive discussions on business management strategies, product innovation, and digital marketing. The method used is a participatory approach through informal discussions and direct case studies. The results show that collaboration between students and business actors improves the partner’s understanding of adaptive business strategies. This activity also provides applicable learning experiences for students. In conclusion, sustainable education is proven to be an effective approach in empowering MSMEs. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding of students at SMK IPTEK South Tangerang City regarding the importance of financial statement analysis in supporting business decision-making. The main problem faced by the partner is the lack of practical understanding of how financial reports can be strategically used in business. The implementation methods include interactive lectures and training covering basic concepts of financial statements, financial ratio analysis, and simple case studies for decision making. The results showed an increase in students' understanding of how to read financial statements and make business strategies based on the analysis. This program is expected to enhance students' readiness to face real business challenges in the future. Abstract

This research examines the role of accounting digitalization in improving the transparency and financial sustainability of sociopreneur MSMEs through community service and increasing financial literacy. By adopting digital technology in financial recording and reporting, sociopreneur MSMEs can manage finances more accurately, efficiently and transparently, The methods used in this community service (abdimisi) activity are extension (or outreach/counseling) and participatory consultation. thus supporting better decision-making and business sustainability. Financial literacy training as part of community service is proven to increase the understanding and ability of MSME actors to implement accounting digitalization, which has a positive impact on financial performance and business competitiveness. These findings confirm the importance of integrating accounting digitalization and financial literacy to strengthen prospective sociopreneur MSMEs in facing modern economic challenges. Abstract

This Student Community Service (PMkM) aims to build a sustainable financial foundation for sociopreneurs, especially among students of SMK IPTEK South Tangerang, considering the significant challenges in accessing capital in Indonesia. The method employed was interactive offline socialization, involving 23 Accounting students from Pamulang University and 39 Accounting students from SMK IPTEK South Tangerang. The socialization material covered basic concepts of sociopreneurship, various alternative funding sources, and adaptive financial management strategies that integrate financial goals and social impact. The contribution of this research lies in increasing participants' financial literacy and awareness regarding the importance of financially independent business models to support social missions. The results indicate a new understanding and behavioral changes in viewing entrepreneurship as a means of sustainable social transformation. Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of vocational high school students in utilizing technology and the internet for entrepreneurship in the digital era. The target of the activity is 39 10th grade Accounting students of SMK Iptek Tangerang Selatan. The activity was carried out on Friday, May 9, 2025, with workshop and training methods. The materials presented include financial literacy, sustainable financial concepts, and sociopreneurs. The resource persons for the activity were Nurul Alfida Rahmawati and Rafina Arinitaz. Participants actively participated in the activity with an attendance rate of 90%. The results of the activity were in the form of creative content such as promotional videos and vlogs, as well as digital business ideas that were expressed in group assignments. Students were also introduced to the use of the marketplace as a marketing medium. The success of the activity was supported by careful planning and effective coordination with collaboration partners. Abstract

Bullying is a phenomenon that causes psychological and social harm to students, affecting their mental health, social interactions, and academic performance. The Community Service Activity (PKM) with the theme “Stop Bullying, Build Empathy: Psychoeducation on Violence Prevention and Mental Health Support for the SMKTechnoMedia Community” aims to raise awareness and develop effective preventive strategies within the school environment. Through psychoeducation, interactive training, and group discussions, the program successfully improved students' and educators' understanding of bullying definitions, types, and impacts. Activity outcomes showed changes in participants' attitudes, including increased awareness in reporting bullying incidents and involvement in creating a more supportive environment. The implementation of strategies, such as the formation of an anti-bullying team, counseling support, and strengthening school policies, has had a positive impact in creating a safer educational ecosystem. Despite challenges in implementing prevention measures, such as resistance to cultural change and insufficient training for educators, the program demonstrates that empathy-based and psychoeducational interventions can be effective solutions. To ensure the sustainability of the program, continuous monitoring, collaboration with psychologists, and broader outreach are needed. With a systematic strategy, it is hoped that the SMKTechnoMedia community can create an educational environment free from bullying and supportive of students' mental well-being.
