Abstract

The existence of a recitation curriculum is not only evidence of good management of the recitation but also an effort to produce higher quality and militant recitation outputs. Based on this, training on the preparation of the Medan City Aisyiyah recitation curriculum was carried out.  The training was carried out using the lecture method by the service team and direct practice in preparing the recitation curriculum. The training was attended by 31 delegates from the Medan City Aisyiyah Branch Manager and 6 members of the Medan City Aisyiyah Regional Leadership Tablighi Assembly. After the training, participants have been able to develop a recitation curriculum. This dedication is important in order to achieve a better recitation management and quality of recitation.

Abstract

In the current pandemic, many complaints are received by the public. Not escape from the difficulty of finding income. One of them is to meet the needs of the kitchen and other household needs. Dish soap is a daily necessity for housewives. Making dish soap can also be done by individuals to reduce daily competition, because it can be done using chemicals that are cheap and easy to find. Therefore, outreach activities to housewives in the village of Padang Tualang, Langkat aim as an effort to increase the economic independence of housewives in the area. The method used for this community service activity is through direct demonstrations in front of the participating mothers. A total of 30 participants were enthusiastic in participating in activities ranging from participating in making basic materials, providing the equipment needed to the final process, namely packaging. In addition, it must also be studied from the safety aspect of the chemicals used and also the calculation of the capital to make these materials.

Abstract

Kebijakan pembelajaran dari rumah di tengah pandemi Covid 19 berlaku untuk seluruh siswa di Indonesia yang sering kita sebut pembelajaran daring, begitu juga dengan orangtua yang terkena dampak dari kebijakan ini. Hal serupa yang dialami orangtua di desa Secanggang Kecamatan Secanggang Kabupaten Langkat Sumatera Utara. Hal ini memaksa orangtua untuk bisa menciptakan suasana pembelajaran daring yang menyenangkan agar anak tidak sulit mengikuti pembelajaran tersebut. Disamping menjamin kenyamanan anak dalam belajar secara daring, orangtua juga berperan sebagai guru bagi anak-anak mereka, oleh karena itu orangtua juga harus bisa mengidentifikasi keberhasilan belajar anak di rumah. Maka dari itu, tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi dan pemahaman tentang hasil belajar anak sehingga dapat membantu orangtua mengenali hasil pembelajaran daring anak selama masa pandemi. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pengabdian adalah diskusi dan menemukan solusi. Hasil dari pengabdian ini adalah saat ini peserta memiliki pemahaman tentang ciri-ciri hasil belajar yang bisa diimplementasikan kepada anak mereka, sehingga orangtua mampu menilai keberhasilan belajar anak dan dapat menemukan solusi bila anak tidak memiliki ciri-ciri tersebut.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has greatly affected the world of education, thus requiring the transition from face-to-face learning to distance learning. However, it is not easy to change face-to-face learning habits into distance learning. As a result of this, all educational institutions, both in cities and districts, have prepared strategies for the implementation of distance learning, because online learning is considered less effective for students. This is in accordance with the results of the pre-test control group obtained a maximum value of 43 and a minimum value of 14.3. The average value is 30.01 and has a standard deviation of 8.09. While the average value obtained by the experimental group is 31.21 and has a standard deviation of 8.15. The results of the post-test online learning assisted by the role of parents at home obtained a maximum score of 90.6 and a minimum score of 62 with an average value of 77.88 and a standard deviation of 8.97. Meanwhile, independent learning without parental assistance obtained a maximum score of 81 and a minimum score of 52.4 with an average score of 66.78 and a standard deviation of 8.68. The value of students with online learning assisted by the role of parents at home is superior to independent learning without parental assistance.

Abstract

This community empowerment activity is a breakthrough for math teachers and students who wish to share their math knowledge with small community organizations. This form of community empowerment is used to support and help the community implement mathematics teaching for children; help children with disabilities understand math; insights from DKM management and staff (Mushola Musyawarah Kemakmuran) on learning math fun for children; and develop familiarity and awareness. The DKM served as an impetus to integrate the da'wah program with the needs of the congregation in the education of children, especially in mathematics. The partner of this activity is the Musholla Prosperity Council, a non-profit organization committed to supporting the well-being and empowerment of mosques. In this case, parents who are members of the prayer hall church often find it difficult to guide their sons / daughters in their studies, especially in math due to their limited math skills. This activity aims to improve the understanding of managers and executives at DKM about fun math learning for kids by combining learning with math games and teaching aids. Abstract

This journal will discuss fun parenting during a pandemic. This journal aims to describe how parenting patterns are used during the COVID-19 pandemic, so as to create healthy behavior in children, both physically and mentally, even during the Covid-19 disaster. The method used in writing this article is to use a literature review. The results of this article indicate that a fun parenting pattern during the Covid-19 pandemic must prioritize authoritative parenting. This is because during the Covid-19 pandemic, parents have an extra role to play in assisting children to learn online. In this case, of course, parents are required to have appropriate and pleasant parenting in accompanying children while at home. Good behavior emerges from good parenting, and vice versa.
