Jurnal Jaringan Telekomunikasi (Jurnal Jartel) merupakan jurnal repositori terbitan Program Studi Jaringan Telekomunikasi Digital, Politeknik Negeri Malang. Abstract

Charging the smartphone battery can be done via powerbank or default charger from the smartphone still using the cable for charging the electricity. Charging using a cable certainly limits the use of the smartphone when it is charging. Smartphone users can not be far from the electric socket which of course is troublesome if this happens in the middle of a room that has a few electrical sockets. To solve this problem, now many wireless charging smartphones or smartphones have been developed wireless charger. Behind the benefits obtained from a wireless charger, it also has disadvantages, namely the transmission distance is short, even there is no distance and the transmitted power is unstable. Wireless chargers are based on the principle of magnetic induction in which electricity is transferred between two objects through a coil. Wireless charger consists of the primary coil as a charger (usually in the form of a thin board or cylinder), and the secondary coil is located on the back of the cellphone. Based on the results, the output power is obtained. The largest wireless charger is 0.027W with a coil diameter of 8cm in all the number of primary coils, namely 40 turns, 50 turns, and 60 turns at a primary and secondary coil distance of 0cm to 1cm. The farthest distance from the wireless charger output power test is 6cm as well as the 8cm coil diameter for all the number of primary coil turns, namely 40 turns, 50 turns, and 60 turns.

Abstract

PBX is a telephone communication connection device that is commonly used in buildings that require a telephone connection. However, some PBX products cannot be directly connected to analog telephones, so they require a module called an S2 module. S2 module can converts the port on the PBX to an FXS port that can be connected to an analog phone. Apart from PBX, there is ITG which can be used as telephone line communication. However, ITG already has an FXS port so it does not require additional modules. In Indonesia, there are standard provisions for the use of analog telephone communication devices which have been regulated in SNI for analog telephones. This research examines analog telephone communication devices according to SNI in Indonesia. The results of this test show the TA400 and MyPBX Standard at the impedance value when the on-hook state gets an average value of 64 K?, when the off-hook condition averages a value of 343 ?, the AC voltage test when the call comes on average gets a value of 343 ?. a value of 60 VAC, which means that it meets the SNI standard.

Abstract

Water is a very basic need in the survival of all living things. The limited amount of clean water and the increasing human growth rate in Indonesia are slowly starting to cause a clean water crisis. Apart from the quantity, the fresh water quality is getting worse. The increasing need is directly proportional to the increasing exploitation of springs, but in fact it's inversely proportional to public awareness of the need for treatment, care and monitoring of river conditions, especially for people in urban, industrial and densely populated areas. In this research, it is proposed a design design for river water monitoring devices using the internet of things method with a media monitor and a public website-based interface that can be accessed by anyone who wants to know about updated river condition information. There are two observation parameters in this study, including dissolved liquid solids content (PPM) and liquid turbidity (NTU), which changes will be observed with the river prototype media in a paralon pipeline. The data received by the sensor is then processed by the Wemos D1 microcontroller and sent to an online database to be displayed in the form of graphs or data records or tables. From the implementation of this research, it is hoped that the community around the watershed can obtain information about the impact of activities around the river on water conditions and quality. With that, it's hoped that the community will have more awareness of the importance of togetherness in protecting the surrounding rivers.

Abstract

Survey data by the World Society for the Protection of an Animal(WSPA) in 2007 recorded that total pet population in Indonesia was 23,000,000 individuals (Batson,2008). The majority of Indonesian choose to keep purebred cats. Care of this breed is'nt easy and requires special attention from the owner. With Smart Cat Home, cat owners can monitor and control feeding schedule, temperature, and drinking conditions in cat cage via their telegraphic social media. The Smart Cat Home is designed using Raspberry Pi3 microcontroller. This system functions to monitor feeding schedule according to cat habits, determine weight of cat feed detected by Loadcell, monitor availability of drinking water by water level sensor, capture cat's condition by webcam, and temperature monitoring using DHT11 sensor. All conditions on system will be displayed on Telegram Bot. From test results can be concluded that the whole system works well. In temperature system, the warmer will be active when <22°C, and the fan will be active at temperature >26°C. In feeding system, the weight sensor is able to read feed weight accurately. From 5 data on feed weight, the average feed weight is 78 grams. In drinking system, the drinking water reservoir will fill drinking container when water level sensor have voltage value <1600 mv with water level of 2.5cm from the surface. From the calculation of delay value in sending data, there's delay of 33.8ms. Packet loss or the amount of data lost during transmission process is 0.3%. Througput of data transmission in system is 84,139,041 Kbytes/sec.

Abstract

State Polytechnic of Malang is an educational institution based on technique where the database is needed here, the database itself is important data that must be stored and cannot be seen by others. Database security must be developed and prioritized so that no one breaks into important data on the server. This whitelist method utilizes a port that can block port access to outside networks that are vulnerable to criminal acts, this method uses ssh as a medium to manage control of an ip address. The ip address will be added a port behind it. Use IP block with Linux OS and tested via the web and laptop using a local access point. The test results show that the quality used for security is whitelist, where this method is used for the IP security used. IP block and unblock process can be done well. The process of adding and deleting ports can be done well. So that in general, the whole system is running well and easy access.

Abstract

Control of quality standards is very important role in ensuring corn on the market. Corn seed quality standards are determined from the results of classification process applied. So far, evaluation process of classification of corn seeds quality is still done manually which takes a long time and the quality of product is'nt evenly distributed. So, we need a tool to determine corn seeds quality to improve its quality. This study conducted color readings of corn seeds using TCS230 color sensors and sorting diameter of corn seeds using a small, medium, and large diameter sieve machine. The method for classifying quality standard of corn seed color uses fuzzy logic. The test was carried out by taking data from 3 TCS230 color sensors on each diameter of the sieve machine for corn seeds types used are BISI-2 and BIMA-19. The sensor accuracy is known by comparing data from sensor with data from Color Grab application. The reading results of BISI-2 on the color sensor-1 shows an accuracy rate of 0.3%, the color sensor-2 shows an accuracy rate of 0.72%, and the color sensor-3 shows an accuracy rate of 1.76%. For BIMA-19 corn seeds, the reading on color sensor-1 shows an accuracy of 1.11%, the color sensor-2 shows an accuracy of 24.6%, the color sensor-3 shows an accuracy of 1.10%. The results of fuzzy testing on BISI-2 and BIMA-19 showed that quality standard of maize seeds was good at medium and large diameters, while those on small diameters showed poor quality standards.

Abstract

The development of wireless technology has created a new network, namely the MANET network. In a MANET network, a node can be a router or an end user because in a MANET network the node is flexible. MANET networks have proactive OLSR and BATMAN protocols. When a node becomes a router, many other nodes will pass it. This research was conducted to determine the formation of the router node in the middle, namely the router that is passed by a lot of communication and the edge, that is, the router that has little communication through the network using parameters of CPU usage, RAM usage, and processing delay. From the test results, the CPU value on OLSR and BATMAN for the middle router node is 0.3 and for the edge router it is 0.2 when communicating, when there is no communication the CPU value on OLSR is still 0.3 while in BATMAN the BATMAN value drops to 0.2. For memory used in both protocols get 0.0 because the router only forwards packets without needing to process the packet. For processing delay in the two protocols, the value varies because packet delivery has an uncertain delivery interval between packets. In BATMAN protocol, CPU usage is better than OLSR because if there is no data communication, the CPU value from BATMAN goes down and on OLSR there is no fixed CPU value communication.

Abstract

Macrobending often occurs in optical fibers that embedded in the ground due to shifting of soil or rocks in the ground causing interference in transmission. In this study used single-mode-multimode-singlemode fiber optic cable connected manually and axially measured using a light source test equipment and optical power meter and the results will be compared. The measurement results obtained the greater value of macrobending losses with the smaller the diameter of the winding, and the greater the number of turns. The highest value of macrobending losses in multimode cables is -1.48dB at 0.5cm diameter with 5 turns, highest value of macrobending losses on single mode cables is -12.73dB at 0.5cm diameter with 5 turns, lowest value of macrobending losses for multimode cables is -0.44dB at 5cm diameter with 1 twist, lowest macrobending losses in singlemode cables is -1.69dB at 5cm diameter with 1 twist. While the value of macrobending losses on axially connected SMS cables shows the highest value of macrobending losses on multimode cables is -1.12dB in diameter of 0.5cm with 5 turns, highest value of macrobending losses on singlemode cables is -1.18dB at diameter of 0.5cm with 5 turns, lowest value for macrobending losses on multimode cables is -0.66dB at 5cm in diameter with 1 twist, the smallest value for macrobending losses on singlemode cables is -0.27dB at 5cm diameter with 1 twist . The measurement results also showed that the macrobending losses of manually connected SMS cables were greater than the macrobending losses of axially connected SMS cables.

Abstract

Seeing the high demand for internet, this research will design an implementation of bandwidth management using a user manager, which will be applied to the billing system in public places with internet services. This aims to regulate the bandwidth or internet bandwidth that will be used by each customer in accordance with the total payment. This implementation utilizes a QR Code which will be used as authentication. This QR Code will be printed on the customer's payment receipt / receipt and will be scanned through the application installed on the android mobile phone. The application will be connected to a server which will later connect the customer's smartphone to connect to the internet service. After making the application, it is tested to check the accuracy of the bandwidth received by the customer. From the bandwidth accuracy testing, the results show that the delivery of bandwidth to the customer has an error with an average error in the download bandwidth of 6.5% and the upload bandwidth of 17%. The occurrence of this error is due to the ping and jitter values ??during data transmission, with an average ping of 78.7 ms and a jitter of 82.7 ms. Whereas in reading the QR Code, it was found that when using a camera with a 5MP resolution the QR Code can be read up to a distance of 90 cm and when using a camera with a resolution of 20.7MP, the QR Code can be read up to a distance of 110 cm.

Abstract

The control system in the cigarette oven room at the Indokretek Factory is currently still manual by means that every 2 hours the oven room will be checked to get the appropriate results. In addition, the Indokretek Factory has a limit on working hours from 07.00-16.00 WIB, so that when it passes the working hour, no one controls the cigarette oven room. The telecontrolling system that is designed can be used for sensor readings, processing sensor data and sending it to firebase until it can be received by the user through the telecontrolling system application in the cigarette oven room so that it can be used for realtime monitoring of the oven room at any time. The system designed to transmit information in the form of temperature and humidity values ??with sensor accuracy with an average temperature value of 0.583% and a humidity of 0.79975%. The network quality test results show that operator B has the lowest delay value and the highest throughput value of 38.62 ms and 9.237869 Kbps, while operator C has the lowest packet loss value of 0.619% so that it includes network quality with very good quality according to standards TIPHON.
