Abstract

There are so many methods that can be used in conducting research. Every method has its own strength and weakness. Before a researcher conduct research, they must choose which method or techniques are more appropriate. This paper explains that there are at least for methods that can be used when a researcher wants to conduct research in teaching and learning development. Those methods are a formal experiments, stimulated recall, observation schemes, and interaction analysis. The focus of this paper is not about how the method is but how researchers observe what is going on inside the classroom using those methods.

Abstract

Lampu merupakan komponen utama dalam sistem penerangan. Pemilihan lampu yang tepat merupakan hal penting dalam perancangan ruang kerja. Sistem penerangan yang sesuai akan meningkatkan produktivitas kerja. Karakteritik lampu pijar dipengaruhi oleh tegangan sumber dan umur lampu. Semakin tinggi daya lampu maka intensitas penerangan yang dihasilkan makin besar pula.

Abstract

UU No. 17 of 2003 states that financial statements must be audited by the BadanPemeriksa Keuangan (BPK). Based on Reports on Audit Results of the Central GovernmentFinance Report of the Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan (KKP) in 2015 got a WTPopinion and decreased in 2016 the KKP obtained a disclaimer opinion because goodsshopping was 209 billion vessels, of which 756 new units were realized 48 units. Based on thedifferences in opinion, the purpose of the study is to analyze the differences in financialperformance of the KKP between those who get WTP opinions and opinions of disclaimers.This type of research is a causal-comparative study with a sample of data from theKKP's financial performance report on WTP opinions and disclaimer opinions. Data analysiswas performed by Mann Whitney test using SPSS software.The results of the descriptive statistics calculation show that the financial performanceof the KKP which got the WTP opinion with a performance score of 6.0678 was higher thanthe one who got the disclaimer opinion with a performance score of 4.37307. However, thesignificance of the financial performance of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries(KKP) on WTP opinions is no different and no better than those who have a disclaimeropinion. This is concluded based on the Mann Whitney test results where the Asymp value.Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.631≥0.05.

Abstract

The objective to be achieved in this paper is to know the criteria of rainfall which is one of the climatic parameters that occur in Cilacap waters (low, medium, high, very high criteria). The method in this study is a combination of survey and literature review. In this study the authors take the location in the waters of Cilacap. The data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics of Cilacap Regency. The data sample used is statistical data within 5 year period starting from 2012 until 2016. Based on data analysis that has been done, that is grouping or classification of the biggest rainfall data in the period of 5 years (2012-2016) obtained by detailed data that is : In 2012 the largest monthly rainfall occurred in November of 124.0 mm including the middle criteria; In 2013 the largest monthly rainfall occurred in June of 96.6 mm which included low criteria; By 2014 the largest monthly rainfall occurs in July at 194.0 mm which includes medium criteria; By 2015 the largest monthly rainfall occurs in December of 132.0 mm which includes medium criteria; In 2016 the largest monthly rainfall occurs in October of 181.0 mm which includes medium criteria. Based on the details of the data, it can be concluded that the largest monthly rainfall as a parameter of climate in Cilacap waters is included in the middle criteria.

Abstract

An efficient and well-managed sea transportation system is a very important factor in improving the national economy. Ports in Indonesia, which are considered to be less efficient and not well equipped / managed, are significant factors that increase shipping costs. For example, ships that are involved in domestic trade are mostly from the time of manufacture only to be propped up or waiting inside or outside the port. The Shipping Law of 2008 provides the foundation for a comprehensive system reform in Indonesia. What is striking is that the shipping law removes the government's monopoly on the port sector and reveals the participation of the private sector. This can affect prices that are very needed in the port sector, providing pressure to reduce prices, and accelerate price increases. Operational performance standards have been established as government standards and international standards. In meeting these standards Tanjung Intan Cilacap Port is required to be able to provide good operational performance, therefore there is a need for performance needed to measure performance and projections of future needs. In this study, it was used to determine the specific port for general cargo.

Abstract

A coastal area is a transition area between sea and land. The development of the coastal area is influenced by the pressure of human activities and phenomena that occur both on land and sea. The condition is illustrated in the Kutawaru Beach, Bantul District. Kutawaru Beach has a unique nature mainly the pine trees and culinary. However, the behavior of people may endanger the natural condition at this area. The aim of this study is to examine the behavior of coastal communities relates to the environmental damage in Kutawaru Beach and the impact on social and economic aspect. A mixed method was applied by using sequential explanatory design. Selection of the sample is completed by purposive sampling ongovernment and fishermen groups. The results show that the behavior of coastal communities has lead to the environment degradation and it is very influential in decreasing the welfare of society. This research also found that the people's behavior is very much influenced by the little level of education and low awareness on the coastal region of Kutawaru Beach. Local government should work together with the local community to save Kutawaru Beach from environmental damage caused by the behavior of the people themselves.
