Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to obtain an aggregate planning strategy or alternativethat can be applied to the Mahakam Ice Crystal home industry and how much is thecost efficiency of the resulting production.Design/methodology/approach - The type of research used in this study isdescriptive analytical using a quantitative approach with the POM-QM for WindowsV5 analisis analysis tool.Findings - Based on the results of research and calculation of the total cost ofaggregate planning, Chase Strategy was chosen as a strategy or alternative foraggregate planning with the lowest production cost value of Rp. 97.371.000,- andcan streamline production costs by 17,3% of the total production costs of theMahakam Ice Crystal Home Industry.

Abstract

Purpose – This study was conducted to analyze the effect of profitability, dividendpolicy, and sales growth on firm value with firm size as a moderating variable.Design/Methodology/Approach – The research method used is descriptivequantitative. This study uses secondary data on the financial statements of food andbeverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. Thesamples used was 9 companies and sample selection used purposive samplingtechnique. In this study using PLS analysis tool with WarpPLS 8.0 software.Findings - The results of this study indicate that profitability has a positivesignificant effect on firm value, dividend policy is not significant on firm value, salesgrowth has a positive significant on firm value, firm size has a positive significant effect on firm value. Firm size weakens and is not significant in moderating the effectof profitability on firm value, firm size strengthens and is not significant inmoderating the effect of dividend policy and sales growth on firm value.

Abstract

Purpose - The Effect of Liquidity, Firm Size, and Profitability on Firm Value withCapital Structure as an intervening variable in Oil and Gas Companies on theIndonesia Stock Exchange Design/Methodology/Approach – The research method used in this study is aquantitative research approach. The analysis unit of this study is oil and gascompanies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020, totaling 9companies with purposive sampling techniques. The collected data was analyzedusing the Partial Least Square (PLS) approach, the software used was SmartPLS3.3.Findings – The results showed that, liquidity has a positive but not significant effecton the value of the firm, the size of the firm has a negative but insignificant effect onthe value of the firm, profitability has a negative but not significant effect on thevalue of the firm, liquidity has a positive but not significant effect on the capitalstructure, the size of the firm has a positive but insignificant effect on the capitalstructure, profitability has a positive and significant effect on the capital structure,the capital structure has a positive and significant effect on the value of the firm, thecapital structure is unable to mediate the effect of liquidity on the value of the firm,the capital structure is unable to mediate the influence of the size of the firm on thevalue of the firm, the capital structure is able to mediate the influence of profitabilityon the value of the firm. For subsequent researchers, it is recommended to usedifferent independent variables, it is also advisable to conduct research oncompanies with more diverse characteristics. Thus, the results obtained can berepresentative to be drawn conclusions by comparing each sector of companieslisted on the Indonesia Stock Exchange..

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of GRDP PerCapita, High School Participation Rate, Labor Force Participation Rate, andPercentage of Population with Access to Clean Water on Poverty Rate throughEconomic Growth in Central Kalimantan during the 2017-2020 period.Design/methodology/approach - Data analysis using the Path Analysis model.Findings - The results of the study show that: 1) Per Capita GRDP, labor forceparticipation rate, and percentage of the population with access to clean water havea direct positive and significant influence on economic growth in CentralKalimantan. 2). Per Capita GRDP, high school participation rate, labor force participation rate, and percentage of the population with access to clean water havea direct positive and significant influence on the poverty rate in CentralKalimantan. 3). Economic growth has a direct positive and significant influence onthe poverty rate in Central Kalimantan. 4) Per Capita GRDP, High SchoolParticipation Rate, Labor Force Participation Rate, and Percentage of Populationwith Access to Clean Water have an indirect and significant influence on the PovertyRate through Economic Growth in Central Kalimantan.

Abstract

Purpose - The research aims to determine the condition of the taxi dare businessafter it was disrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic.Design/methodology/approach - Research was conducted on 100 brave taxibusiness owners operating in the city of Medan and using the frontier application asan analytical tool, followed by qualitative analysis to explain the results of thetechnical efficiency analysis.Findings - The conclusion of the research is that the current business condition isnot good, this can be seen from the inefficiency of most of the business owner'sproduction operations. The main factor for inefficiency is the value factor ofoperational assets/vehicles which greatly burdens production. This factor is theculmination of the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic which has caused businesses tolose money for more than a year. Other variables modeled in the production functionare information and technology variables and production support variables, thesetwo variables together become variables that support production efficiency. The research findings provide opportunities for deeper analysis, especially regardingstrategies to increase efficiency in the dare taxi business

Abstract

Purpose - This study aims to analyze the direct effect of employee competence andmonitoring on motivation and performance, the effect of motivation on performance,and to analyze the indirect effect between employee competence and monitoring onperformance through motivation as a mediating variable.Design/methodology/approach - This study used a research instrument in the formof a questionnaire with a path analysis test and was processed using the SPSS Ver22 program.Findings - The results of the study show that: employee competence and monitoringhave a significant effect on employee motivation, employee competence has nosignificant effect on performance, monitoring and motivation have a significanteffect on performance, competence has no significant effect on performance throughmotivation, and monitoring has a significant effect on performance throughmotivation.

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study is to examine the direct and indirect effects oftourist attraction and prices on tourist interest in visiting through promotion. Thisresearch method is quantitative with path analysis.Design/methodology/approach - The research respondents were 100 tourists whovisited Ubalan Waterpark Mojokerto. This study used an instrument in the form of aquestionnaire which was processed using the SPSS program.Findings - The results of the study show that tourist attraction and price have asignificant effect on promotion; tourist attraction and promotion have a significanteffect while price has no effect on visiting interest. Tourist attractiveness has anindirect effect on visiting intentions through promotions, while prices have notproven to have a significant indirect effect through promotions on tourists' visitingintentions

Abstract

Purpose - The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect ofmotivation and training on employee performance by mediating the competency ofthe employees of the Mojokerto Regency Regional Development Planning Agency.Design/Methodology/Approach – This type of research uses a survey approach. Thefamous survey research is The Gallup Poll which is intended to find out people'sopinions. Based on the level of explanation, this research can also be grouped intoassociative research. Associative research, namely research that links or morevariables, for example looking at the influence of coach factors and work motivationon employee performance. As for this study, the researchers decided to take theresearch population with the target or object, namely employees at the RegionalDevelopment Planning Agency Office of Mojokerto Regency, a total of 50 people.Data analysis used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis.Findings - The results of this study explain that employee competence is not amediating variable in this study. The influence of motivation and training is directlyproven to be able to improve employee performance and even employee competencecan directly improve employee performance. It has not been proven that employeecompetence in this research model as mediation has not been proven, this isexplained in the discussion

Abstract

Objectives - The aim of the study was to identify and analyze the effect of incentivesand monitoring on employee performance through work motivation at theDepartment of Public Housing, Residential Areas and Transportation, MojokertoRegency.Design/Methodology/Approach – The sampling technique used is the saturatedsample technique, in which the entire population is sampled, totaling 85 people withthe status of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) (excluding leaders) of the Public Housing,Settlement Areas and Transportation Office (DPRKP2) Mojokerto Regency. Theprimary data collection method uses a questionnaire while the secondary datacollection uses the literature study method. Data analysis techniques in this studyused instrument tests, path analysis tests, and classical assumption tests.Findings - Based on the results of the research and discussion, it is concluded thatincentives can increase work motivation and employee performance, supervision canincrease work motivation and employee performance, motivation and incentives can directly increase employee performance. The discussion of the findings is explainedin the research findings.

Abstract

Objectives - Identify the internal and external environment of the Purse Seine Catching Business which includes micro and macro environments and formulate alternative business development strategies for the purse seine catching business. Design/Methodology/Approach – Sampling using a questionnaire with 5 people who are experts or understand including business owners, Fishing Masters, Engineers, Marketing Department, and Boat Fishermen. Testing data analysis using the R language through Google Colab. Findings - These businesses are strong and likely, the recommendations given are Progressive, meaning that businesses are run in prime and steady condition so that it is possible to continue to expand, increase growth and achieve maximum progress. Originality/value – The added value of this research contributes to business development explaining what strategies a company should take to maximize opportunities and minimize threats
