Abstract

Studies the influence of the MSME sector and regional categorical factors is often overlooked, so in this case a simple regression can be improved through classifying similar data sets and being handled properly. Therefore, to increase understanding of the factors that affect the income of MSMEs, it must be considered by looking at the relationship between the categories of the MSME sector and different districts / cities (regions) especially in Aceh Province. One of the analysis models suitable for MSME data is multilevel regression analysis. The purpose of this multilevel regression analysis is to form a regression model on the amount of MSME income in Aceh Province where individual level 1 business owners with factors of type of business, number of workers and amount of capital, are nested in the level 2 MSME sector, nesting in level 3 districts / cities. The data used are UMKM data obtained from the Aceh Cooperative and UMKM Service. The data were processed and analysed using the R-Studio software. The results showed that the type of mining, agriculture and livestock businesses had a significant negative effect of 5% on the income of MSMEs in Aceh Province, while the types of transportation, capital and labor businesses had a significant positive effect of 5%. The measure of suitability of the 3-level regression model obtained deviance, AIC and BIC, respectively, is 22,571, 22,585 and 22,636.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive study that aims to describe students' critical thinking abilities carried out by online learning. This research was conducted in class VIII SMP Negeri Widyakrama involving 23 students as research subjects. Data collection was obtained from validated essay test instruments. The test instrument was used to collect data on students' mathematical critical thinking abilities with indicators (a) problem identification (b) analysis, (c) synthesis, and (d) drawing conclusions. The results showed that students' critical thinking abilities implemented through online learning at Widyakrama State Middle School were in the medium category. This is shown based on the classification of critical thinking abilities of 23 respondents. There are only 5 students who are in the high category, 14 students are in the medium category, and 4 other students are in a low category.

Abstract

This study was aimed at discussing survival analysis in Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients in Aloei Saboe using Weibull regression to find out the factors that influence the patient’s recovery rate. To analyze the survival time, the Kaplan-Meier curve is used then the process continues into Log-Rank Test to see the differences between groups in a curve. Weibull Regression is used to determine the significant factors based on a log-rank test in the rate of recovery of Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients. The results of the study concluded age, shortness of breath, fever, cough, history of illness and smoking habits are factors that significantly influence the rate of recovery of Pulmonary Tuberculosis patients.

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' mathematics learning outcomes in matrix material through e-learning based learning. This research was conducted at SMK Negeri 2 Limboto with a descriptive method involving 21 students as the research sample selected by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was obtained from the results of mathematics learning tests involving several indicators, namely: (1) understanding, (2) application, (3) analysis, (4) synthesis, and (5) evaluation. The results showed that students' mathematics learning results through e-learning-based learning were in the poor category, which was indicated by the percentage of scores achieved by students of 69%.

Abstract

The study s a qualitative descriptive approach, and his research type is the study of library studies. Researchers aim to project sub-sub materials through the mathematical mind mapping of major semester ix classes, researchers are trying to collect data by reading, studying understanding and analyzing books as well as research journals, accessing Internet sites, or documents related to mind mapping. Mind mapping is the most effective and efficient way to input, store and extract data from the brain or into the brain. It works according to the natural workings of our brain, thus optimizing all the human brain's potential and capacity. The manufacturing of the mind mapping process requires that a number of basic characteristics are attained. There is also the basic characteristic; Paper, colour, line, letter, keyword, key image, and structure. Thus basically the mind mapping process is based on the development of the mind mapping process, resulting in a mind mapping that can help teachers and students in the mathematical process during the difficult part of the semester, and can make learning more meaningful and enjoyable because the learning material is visible to the whole so that students can readily understand the material given.

Abstract

This paper discusses the determinants of a k-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix using row reduction and cofactor expansion methods. The analysis was carried out recursively from the general form of the determinant of the tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix, the determinant of the 2-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix, and the determinant of the 3-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix. In the end, the general form of the determinant of the k-tridiagonal Toeplitz matrix is obtained.

Abstract

Integral can be used to determine several quantities, one of them is to determine the length of a curve in the plane. It can be applied to prove the circumference formula of a circle. This research aims to explain how to prove the circumference formula of a circle using a single integral expressed in both cartesian and polar coordinates. The method used in this research is a study of literature. The result of this research shows that proving the circumference of a circle can be done by determining the implicit derivative of the circle equation. Then, the circle equation and its implicit derivative are substituted into the integral formula for determining the length of the curve in both cartesian and polar coordinates so that the circumference formula of a circle is obtained.
