Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of husband's social support on dual role conflict in career women. The hypothesis put forward in this study is that there is an influence between husband's social support and dual role conflict in career women. The population in this study are career women who have a dual role, namely those who work and also become housewives in the city of Medan. The sample in this study were 350 career women who were selected by non-random sampling using purposive sampling technique. The data collection tool used in this study is a scale from the husband's social support aspect by Sarafino (2014) and a scale from the Dual Role Conflict aspect by Sekaran. The data analysis used in this study is the Simple Linear Regression Correlation Test. The results showed that there was an influence between husband's social support and dual role conflict in career women with (r = 0.517) and (p = 0.000) (p> 0.05). This shows that there is a negative relationship, namely the more positive the husband's social support, the more negative the dual role conflict and vice versa, the more negative the husband's social support, the more positive the dual role conflict.

Abstract

This study aims to test whether there are differences in achievement motivation in terms of attributional style among students of the Faculty of Psychology, University of HKBP Nommensen. The sample in this study was 197 active students of the Faculty of Psychology, HKBP Nommensen University. The research instrument used were the achievement motivation scale and the attribution style scale. The results of the study using the ANOVA test showed that there were significant differences in achievement motivation in terms of attributional style (F= 2.75, p < 0.05).

Abstract

This research includes experimental type research with a cooperative model. The population in this study were all tenth grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Tigalingga in the 2019/2020 school year which amounted to 5 classes, namely class X MIA1, class XMIA2, class XMIA3, class XMIA4, class X MIA5. This study aims to determine how learning should be with a cooperative model of think pair share and a scientific approach to students' ability to understand concepts and solve problems in the operation of power numbers in class X. The results of the study showed that the design of the learning model that had been designed was good to use. Based on Table 4.8, the results obtained tcount = 10.002 and ttable = 1.67 (tcount> ttable) which means Ha2 is accepted. Thus it can be concluded that learning with the Think Pair Share cooperative model is better than the scientific approach to understanding concepts on the operation of signed numbers in class X SMA Negeri 1 Tigalingga TP 2019/2020.

Abstract

This research uses quasi-experimental research. The population in this study were students of Class XI MIPA in SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal T.P. 2019/2020. This study aims to make it easier for students to achieve learning objectives in understanding the concepts and solving linear program problems with the Think Pair Share (TPS) type cooperative model and the scientific approach. The results showed that the design of the learning model that had been designed was good to use. The tcount value for the problem solving test is 5.0350 while the ttable = 1.667 it means tcount> ttable, means accepted or rejected, so it is concluded that learning with a cooperative model of think pair share type is better than the scientific approach to solving linear program problems in Class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sunggal T.P. 2019/2020.

Abstract

The population of this study were seventh grade students of SMP Swasta HKBP Sidorame 2019/2020 which consisted of 1 class. The sampling technique in this study was Saturated Sampling. This research includes quasi-experimental research. “The experimental research method can be interpreted as a research method used to seek the effect of certain treatments on others in controlled conditions” (Sugiono, 2008: 72). This study aims to see if there is an effect of realistic mathematics approach on problem solving ability and mathematical communication ability of students. The research design used is Posttest Group Design. The sample consists of one class, namely the experimental class. This study involves one class that is given treatment to find out the problem solving and communication skills of students which is done by giving a test to one class after being treated, it can be obtained that the effect of the realistic mathematics approach on the problem solving ability of students is 69.3%, and on the relationship between X and Y2 the coefficient of determination obtained from the calculation = 65.20%. The coefficient of determination r2 = 0.652. So, it can be obtained that the influence of the realistic mathematics approach on communication skills is 65.20%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the addition of starbio probiotics in the diet on the level of digestibility of protein content, crude fiber and water content in broiler chicken feces. Digestibility level of protein, crude fiber and water content in broiler faeces for 35 days This research is included in experimental research that uses descriptive method, which consists of 4 levels of treatment and 5 replications with each replication consisting of 5 broiler chickens With the addition of starbio Po (0 g) probiotic level. P1 (1.5 g). P2 (2.5 g). P3 (3.5 g). P4 (4.5 g). The results showed that the addition of starbio probiotics in the diet had a significant effect on the digestibility level of protein, crude fiber and had no significant effect on the water content of broiler chicken feces.

Abstract

This research is a quasi-experimental type of research. Population is the whole object in which there are subjects that can be used as a source of data that is expected to provide the data needed by researchers. The population in this study were X MIA class students at SMA Negeri 8 Medan. The technique that will be used in this sampling is using Purpossive sampling technique. The purpose of pseudo research is to obtain information that is an approximation for information that can be obtained with actual experiments in circumstances where it is impossible to control and manipulate all relevant variables. The results showed that the design of the learning model that had been designed was good to use. From the calculation obtained tcount = 1.71 and ttable = 1.670 It turns out that tcount = 1.71> ttable = 1.670 so that Ha is accepted or H0 is accepted, it can be concluded that the final ability of students taught using PBI learning model is better than students taught with PBL learning model on students' mathematical communication skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of fermented kepok banana peel flour (Musa sp) with tempe yeast in the ration on slaughter weight, carcass weight and carcass percentage of local male ducks aged 11 weeks. This research was conducted in the experimental field of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, HKBP Nommensen University in Simalingkar A Village, Medan Tuntungan District for 11 weeks. This study used 100 male local ducks. The research method used is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (CRD), consisting of 4 treatments and 5 replications, namely P0 (0% fermented kepok banana peel flour), P1 (5% fermented kepok banana peel flour), P2 (10% fermented kepok banana peel flour) and P3 (15% fermented kepok banana peel flour). The data obtained in this study were analyzed for variance (ANOVA) and then continued with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test. The conclusion obtained from the results of the study showed that the provision of fermented kepok banana peel flour in the ration of male local ducks aged 11 weeks had a very significant effect (P<0.01) on slaughter weight and carcass weight, while the percentage of male local duck carcasses showed no significant difference. (P>0.05). Fermented kepok banana peel flour can be used a maximum of 10% in the ration of male local ducks.

Abstract

This research is a quasi experimental research. This study aims to see if there is an effect of Think Pair Share Learning Model on concept understanding and problem solving skills. The population in this study were all X grade students of SMA Negeri 2 Doloksanggul, which amounted to 6 classes in the 2019/2020 school year. In this study, the independent variable ( ) is the TPS learning model on degree and radian material. the coefficient of determination from the calculation results = 61.2%. Based on the results of the calculation of the correlation coefficient significance test, it is obtained thitung > ttabel or 0.779> 0.349 which means that there is a strong relationship between the Think Pair Share learning model on the ability to understand concepts and problem solving obtained thitung > ttabel or 0.782> 0.349 which means that there is a strong relationship between the Think Pair Share learning model on problem solving. From the results of this discussion, the hypothesis in this study is accepted, namely “There is an Effect of the Think Pair Share Learning Model on the Ability of Concept Understanding and Problem Solving on Geometry Material Degrees and Radians in Class X SMA Negeri 2 Doloksanggul T.P. 2019/2020”.

Abstract

This research includes quasi-experimental research. The experimental research method can be interpreted as a research method used to find the effect of certain treatments on others under controlled conditions (Sugiyono, 2016: 72). This study aims to see whether the Genius Learning model is effective with the help of Power Point media on concept understanding and problem solving skills. The research design uses the one-shot case study. This study involved one experimental class that was given one-time treatment with the Genius Learning model. The population of this study were all VII grade students of SMP Swasta Free Methodist 2 Medan T.P 2019/2020 consisting of 3 classes. The variables in this study consisted of two types, namely independent (independent variable (X)) and dependent (dependent variable (Y)) variables. From the observation data above, the average score of the teacher's ability to teach is 4.167, so by comparing with the average score of the teacher's ability to teach above, it can be concluded that the teacher's ability to teach in this study is in the good category.
