Abstract

The problem in this study is the low multiliteration ability of students, and the low development orientation of students' thinking skills in learning, especially metacognition thinking skills which is one of 21st century thinking skills. This is caused by several factors, one of the main factors is learning that is still oriented to the achievement of partial-textual knowledge and not to an integrative-contextual understanding of the knowledge learned. Therefore, there needs to be an effort that can be used as a solution to solve these problems through effective and up-to-date effective models that are oriented towards efforts to improve students' metacognition thinking skills, one of which is through the application of a critical militarized model based on aapproach project based learning. The critical multiliteration model is a learning model that is developed based on awareness and recognition of the diversity and complexity of the perspective of student culture and the diversity of learning styles it has. In addition, a critical multiliteration model is a model oriented towards efforts to build students' thinking skills through a multicontext, multicultural, and multimedia approach. In this context, a critical multiliteration model is developed specifically with a project-based approach as a dynamic learning approach, where students actively explore problems in the real world, provide challenges, and gain deeper knowledge. This is based on the purpose of developing a model that is oriented towards the development of metacognition thinking skills.

Abstract

This research was motivated by empirical facts about the increasing lack of interest in reading literature for elementary school students. This implication have an impact on learning Indonesian language, one of which is the ability to write poetry in elementary school. This study aims to test the effectiveness of suggestopedia model based on the strengthening of character education in elementary school students. Through the lesson plan by inserting five main values of character, such as religious, nationalist, independent, cooperation, and integrity. In order to achieve the goal of researchers conducted a study consist of three stages: (1) Develop a model, (2) Carry out field trials with the design of pre-test-posttest control group experimental design involving 70 students in two class one of elementary school in Bogor of including 35 experimental groups and a control group of 35 students and (3) Prepare the final model by revising the end of model has been tested. The analysis shows that suggestopedia model based on the strengthening of character education was effective for improving the ability to write poetry of elementary school. It can be seen from the reality of the condition after treatment in the control class or experimental class are equally increased, but the condition is more increased in the experimental class. suggestopedia model based on the strengthening of character education as one of models can be used in developing ability to write poetry using criteria of assessment, such as theme and meaning, diction, imajination, and message.

Abstract

Family is the first environment experienced by a child when born into the world, and during preschool times, the family is the most important social agent. When many parents work, childcare shifts to close relatives, namely grandmother / grandfather, in parenting between parents and grandparent have their own characteristics, but they have the same hope that the child becomes an independent person. The purpose of this study was to determine whether there were differences in the level of early childhood independence in terms of caregiver subjects (parents and grand parenting). This study uses a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental research type, namely the experimental group and the control group are not chosen randomly but by grouping the research subjects based on the groups that have been formed. The population in this study The population targeted in this study were all kindergarten children B in Kemala Bhayangkari 08 Bajawa-NTT kindergarten. The sampling technique in this study uses purposive sampling which is carried out by sampling techniques with certain considerations. The considerations in determining the sample are the characteristics of kindergarten children A. According to Roscoe (in Sugiono, 2010), in an experimental study using experimental groups and control groups, the number of sample members of each group was between 10 s / d20. Based on this review, the number of samples in this study amounted to 40 children, of which 20 children from group A became the experimental group and 20 children from group B1 became the control group. Data analysis method of this study is analysis of variance (ANOVA) with the help of SPSS 19 for Windows. Based on the results of the study, first) The development of early childhood independence that is cared for by working mothers shows that children tend to be able to be independent without the help of teachers at 65.0% and the remaining 35.0% of children are at a level of independence capable of teacher balance. While the independence of early childhood raised by mothers who do not work shows children tend to be able to be independent without teacher assistance by 55.0%, and the remaining 40.0% and 5.0% of children have a level of independence with the guidance of teachers and children begin to be independent. Early childhood language development that was cared for by working mothers showed that 85.0% were very good language development, 10.0% of children's languages ??began to develop, and 5.0% of children's language developed according to expectations. Whereas the language development of early childhood raised by non-working mothers showed that 35.0% were in very good language development, 55.0% of children's languages ??developed according to expectations, and 5.0% of children's languages ??began to develop. Second) There are significant differences in the independence and development of early childhood language between children cared for by mothers who work and do not work outside the home. There are some suggestions that the writer wants to put forward, including: PAUD Teachers are expected to be able to evaluate and develop activities that enhance early childhood independence; and, it is hoped that the results of the research can provide information to all parties, especially mothers, to pay more attention to the independence and development of early childhood language.

Abstract

This research is based on the background of the problem of Indonesian language learning outcomes that are still low, especially composing sentences quickly and precisely in class III SDN 1 Lapai, Ngapa District, North Kolaka Regency. Based on the results of field observations, it was found that there were some students who were unable to compose sentences correctly. Teachers in teaching Indonesian only ask students to read and copy sentences in the textbooks used, the teacher never prepares drawing media to help children compose sentences and rarely asks children to compose sentences. The teacher also never asks children to compose sentences based on their daily habits, children feel they do not need to compose sentences correctly. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (PTK) method. This research was carried out in two cycles. In this study, researchers used instruments in the form of tests, observation sheets, field notes, documentation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out with quantitative and qualitative techniques. Quantitative data is done by searching for an average, while qualitative dat is processed descriptively. Judging from the results of the ability to write speech texts, each cycle has increased. This is evident from the average value of composing sentences obtained by students from each cycle. Cycle I: 6.85 and Cycle II: 8.35. Thus researchers recommend to you to use image media as a solution to improve the ability to compose sentences quickly and precisely.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of elementary school students' mathematical literacy skills in relation to 21st century education problems. This study aims to determine the mathematics literacy of fifth grade students in elementary school in terms of mathematical problem solving abilities. The research design used was qualitative descriptive with a case study research method. This study was carried out on 27 fifth grade students of one public elementary school in the city of Bandung. This research was carried out by observing and giving mathematics literacy tests. The results showed that students' mathematical literacy was still low. Accuracy in understanding the information in the questions about what was known and asked about the questions was lacking. Most students are still wrong when it comes to working on the calculation process and what procedures should be used to solve the given problem so that the results obtained are not correct. Based on these findings, learning needs to be designed to be as optimal as possible in order to improve mathematical literacy skills.
