Abstract

Competition for a decent life depends on the creativity and ability to innovate. This condition is caused by countries that have superior human resources will be more advanced than in countries with a lot of natural resources but is not reliable. In the future we will face some challenges that require changes in traditional educational paradigm that has been applied by teachers in Indonesia. To that end, students should be accustomed to searching for information themselves, able to identify and formulate problems, able to work effectively in groups and build networks, as well as high creativity mimiliki. In order for creativity and innovation with the optimal form then students must be equipped with the knowledge, attitude and skills are adequate to face the challenges of today and in the future.

Abstract

This article discusses self-reflection training for elementary school teachers that is closely related to the call of the soul of elementary school teachers to be more professional in carrying out their duties as teachers. A person's interest in the teaching profession will make him work happily and feel responsible. Interest is not enough to become an elementary school teacher, but the calling of the soul as a teacher is needed. How can you keep an elementary school teacher's interest and vocation? One way is reflection. What is reflection? Reflection is a way of reflecting on the experience gained in order to improve itself in order to live better. With reflection, elementary school teachers will get to know themselves more so that they can communicate with students who are in desperate need of attention from their teacher. When someone becomes an elementary school teacher and in accordance with his soul call, then all thoughts and wills are focused on developing his students. Sometimes someone who works as an elementary school teacher does not have a call and interest as a teacher. This is evident by the transfer of the teacher to other professions because he considers the teacher to be a promising profession. Besides that there is also a teaching profession which is only considered as a stepping stone before getting a job. We can imagine the character of children who are educated by teachers who do not love them. Reflection training held on an ongoing basis will make elementary school teachers get to know themselves so that the calling of their souls and interests is increasingly fostered so as to improve their professionalism as elementary school teachers.

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to discuss the level of students' critical thinking skills in solving problems related to the topic or subject matter of Mathematics. To achieve this goal, the method used is literature study by describing the ability to think critically based on several experts and describe the leveling of critical thinking based on the study of supporting references. In everyday life, one cannot escape thinking. One of the thinking activities needed in life is critical thinking. The development of critical thinking skills can be done through school, which is one of them in the Mathematics learning process. Giving problem solving can help students develop critical thinking skills. But in the development of critical thinking processes, even though students receive the same material and the learning process, it does not rule out the possibility that there are differences in the ability to think critically in each student. Differences in the ability to think critically in students can be revealed by making groups based on certain criteria so that the level of critical thinking skills of students from highest to lowest can be seen.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out, 1) how is the learning creativity of students in social studies lectures; 2) is there a difference in creativity in learning between learning based on problem based learning (PBL) and conventional learning in learning social studies; 3) is there the effectiveness of problem-based learning approaches (PBL) in learning social studies on student learning creativity. This study is a quasi experimental research, with pretest-postes design using a control group without random assignment. The sample of the pilot study is a 16 th grade A-class student of PGSD FKIP SWCU FKIP with 24 students and 16 E class with 24 students. Technique of collecting data by using test and direct observation. The research instrument test items and observation sheets are equipped with an assessment rubric The research instrument used an observation guide with a measurement rubric. Technique of data analysis using t-test with significance level ? = 0,05 that is to analyze difference of mean score of independent sample t-test creativity score of control group and experiment group and aid program SPPS version 23,0. The results showed that: 1) The importance of creativity in learning is that students are directly involved in learning, creative students are able to solve problems and have the potential to produce works; 2) Implementation of Social Study learning with PBL approach through step a). Formulate the problem, b). Review social studies learning, c). Formulate social studies learning hypotheses and learning outcomes, d). Gather information, e). Troubleshooting and solutions, and f). Presentation. Creative learning lattice: a). the magnitude of the score for the formulation of social studies learning problems, b). the magnitude of the score from the study of social studies learning, c). the magnitude of the score for the formulation of the Social Studies learning hypothesis and the learning outcomes, d). the amount of score in solving problems and solutions, and e). the magnitude of the score during the presentation, 3) there is effectiveness of PBL approach to student's learning creativity. This can be seen from the significant value of the same variance assumed (2-tailed) learning creativity of Social Study <0.05. According to the basis of decision making in independent t-sample test, it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, meaning that there is difference of mean value of learning creativity between experiment group and control group. Result of t test is bigger than t table, it means Ho is rejected and Ha accepted.

Abstract

The background of this research is new paradigm in the implementation of the Diniyah Madrasah at this time changes the previous assumption that only as a regular recitation to fill the spare time of children at home after school, becoming a Madrasah Diniyah which aims to supplement Islamic religious education obtained in formal schools in order to increase the faith and devotion of students to God. This study aims to identify the implementation of the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah curriculum at Bandung City. Based on the research, it is expected that the results of the curriculum implementation specifically can be obtained, namely the developed learning design, implementation of learning, assessment of learning, and supervision carried out in the implementation of the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah curriculum at Bandung City. The population in this study was the Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah (MDTA) in 30 sub-districts in the city of Bandung with a total of 73 teachers from MDTA. The research method used in this study uses a quantitative approach with the type of descriptive research. The process of collecting data in the field of research uses several techniques in the form of observation, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that MDTA teachers had a graduate education background in the Formal Diniyah Madrasah, a non-formal diniyah Madrasah or equivalent education graduates as evidenced by the relevant institution diploma. While from the results of the identification of learning design making, as many as 60% of teachers have difficulty in independently drafting the implementation of Madrasah Diniyah Takmiliyah Awaliyah learning (RPP), Management of the curriculum in the Diniyah Madrasah does not have a curriculum system in teaching and learning activities that are in accordance with the conditions of each each madrasa, the teacher has difficulty in delivering the material because the material has not been systematically arranged, the curriculum provided by the Ministry of Religion is not in accordance with the condition of Madrasahs. This is because the average teacher who teaches at the Diniyah Madrasah does not have a background in teacher education as well as a lack of empowerment and training for teachers.
