Abstract

This research aims to determine the expectation of fishers after natural disasters in the form of earthquakes and tsunami in the Sirenja district of Donggala. The theory used is the theory of hope or expectation that Victor H. Vroom ever expressed. In this theory, it is stated that the power that motivates a person to work actively in working on his work depends on the mutual relationship between what is desirable and necessary for the outcome of the work. The method used is qualitative with five informants prescribed in purposive sampling. Data collection through observation and interviews, which are then analyzed using interactive model methods. The results show that there is a force that motivates fishers to work enterprising again. However, they still depend on the help of both government assistance and the assistance of the Sewasta, such as the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) that has been down in the Sirenja district. The fishermen also have expectations to restore their lives like before the earthquake and Tsunami disaster. And the fishermen society desperately wants to go back to the sea; of course, they need some help in the form of capture equipment, such as boats, nets, and machinery, and fishing rods

Abstract

The Indonesian government, to realize health development through family health improvement priorities, has issued work programs to support the implementation of the matter. One of the government programs implemented at this time is the family planning program. Virile participation in both planning and living in the maintenance of motherhood and child health, including the prevention of motherly mortality, is a still base. Based on this, it is important to know the cause of base masculine participation in planning families. This study aims to analyze the determining factor of participation of men in family planning. This research is a policy study, meaning that research is aimed at obtaining information as a basis for decision-making concerning men's interest factors for enlivening and the planning family. This research was conducted in Donggala County. The population in this study is a man of childbearing age (PUS) located in all regions of Donggala Regency. The analysis used in this study is a frequency tabulation analysis. The study concluded that if you want to use a vasectomy, contraceptive tools should not be decided with a partner, but most of the respondents must be decided with a partner because the contraceptive vasectomy is a family. An effective plan for the childbearing age to prevent pregnancy with a single action, so that there must be a husband's agreement to do already not want any further descendants.

Abstract

Currently, the government of the Parigi Moutong Regency has sought to facilitate access to community forest plants that are truly managed by the community rather than the financiers. "Around 80% of the poor population in Central Sulawesi around the forest that can be managed by the community has now been designated as a community forest plantation area. Communities living around the forest must be empowered to increase their income and welfare to reduce poverty. This study aims to find out how much is the optimum income (Z) of community forest farming, find out how much (land capacity) at the time of optimum income, find out what is the residual value of using production facilities at the time of optimum income, find out the sensitivity value of income per hectare of community forest farming and know the sensitivity value of community forest farming production facilities. Research in the village of Suli, Balinggi Subdistrict, Parigi Moutong District with the object of research is the community forest farming system of monoculture and agroforestry with the composition of Nyatoh stands (Palaquium spp), and Cocoa (Theobroma cacao, L). The optimum net income (Z) for community forest farming is Rp. 731,692,400 with an area of 3 ha over a 20-year cycle. The maximum income of community forest farming is achieved by a combination of a nyatoh monoculture farming model with an area of 1.16 ha, cocoa agroforestry with an area of 0.9 ha, and monoculture cocoa with an area of 0.94 ha. Optimum income will not change if farm income is real with an income of Rp. 286,900,000 - increased by unlimited or reduced to Rp. 246,072,500. Real agroforestry and cocoa with an income of Rp. 326,900,000, - if raised to Rp. 392,224,000, - or reduced by unlimited, - Cocoa with an income of Rp. 111,360,000 - increased to Rp. 120,009,335. The sensitivity value indicates that an increase in 1 unit of production facilities for land and TSP will increase the optimum income value, while for seeds, cocoa seedlings, hole making, planting, manure, insecticide, maintenance 3x a year, NPK, Urea, KCL, thinning, cocoa harvesting and harvesting, if it is increased indefinitely it will reduce the value of optimum income because each additional inventory will be the remaining value of the inventory

Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of Porame, Sigi Regency, which was conducted from March to August 2017. The Sombe river basin is one of the rivers in the Porame Village, Kab. Sigi, Central Sulawesi Province, which empties into the Palu River, has a length of 10.54 Km and a watershed area of 53.95 Km². High rainfall intensity and uncontrolled land-use changes in the Sombe Watershed Area cause flooding problems, which can ultimately cause a lot of damage. For planning flood control, river safety, and various water structures in the river it is necessary to conduct a hydrological analysis to obtain the magnitude of the flood plain. In this study frequency analysis and Empirical methods are used, namely the Rational, Hasper and Melchior Methods, counting from 10 to 200 years. The calculation of the Sombe River flood discharge used rainfall data at the Porame station, with the recording period from 2005 to 2016 and using a 1: 50,000 scale topographic map. The results of the design flood discharge analysis for each method with various repeat periods obtained the Rational Method that gets the largest value of Flood Discharge that is 663,548 m3 / s; then, the Frequency Analysis Method gets the smallest value 133,057 mm.

Abstract

This research was conducted in Tolitoli Regency, from February to June 2012 Analysis of Clean Water Services for Low-Income Customers at the Tolitoli City Water Supply Company. This study aims to determine the priority service for drinking water in PDAM Ogo Malane Tolitoli City. The sample in this study was 54 heads of households from the group of low-income household customers in five villages in Tolitoli Regency that were served by the Ogo Malane Regional Water Supply Company in Tolitoli City. The entire research sample in the five villages mentioned above was determined as a research sample using random sampling techniques, namely by providing equal opportunities to every low-income customer residing in the five villages to be selected as a research sample. Data analysis tools in this study used the Spearman Rank Correlation analysis approach. The results of this study illustrate that: first, clean water services to low-income customers are considered not good at the Regional Water Supply Company Ogo Malane Tolitoli City, because the results of the study indicate the response given by the company to customer complaints is unsatisfactory. This is due to the Regional Water Supply Company. Ogo Malane Tolitoli City seems slow to respond when there are complaints from low-income customers in connection with clean water services provided by the company through the use of Public Hydrants. Second, there is a negative and significant relationship between clean water tariffs and services to low-income customers in the Regional Water Supply Company of Ogo Malane Tolitoli City. This negative relationship occurs because the clean water tariff charged by the company is considered low-income customers less than the equivalent of clean water services provided by the company through the use of Public Hydrants.

Abstract

Analysis of technical soil properties in terms of size, type, and pressure is needed for the proper development plan. Building plans, which include Sedimentation Retaining Wall, need to be able to create buildings that are safe, stable, and resistant to both vertical and horizontal forces. It requires shear resistance analysis (Pα), which is carried out through laboratory tests by estimating the value of cohesion, shear angle, soil fill weight, and density. When the shear resistance analysis has a value greater than 1.5, it means that the building is resistant to force.
