Abstract

This article discusses the importance of financial planning for university students in Indonesia who face financial challenges in pursuing their education and dreams. With low levels of financial literacy, college students need to understand personal financial management, including budgeting, saving, and finding additional sources of income. The research shows that financial education in higher education is critical to improving students' understanding of financial management and investment, which are key elements in achieving financial independence. In addition, the research also examines the financial planning challenges faced by students and workers, as well as the role of gender in investment. The findings show that university students have an initial awareness of financial planning, but are often hampered by limited resources. Meanwhile, workers, while more knowledgeable about investments, also struggle to set aside funds due to the high cost of living. Students' self-control is better than workers, who experience more pressure. Gender-based investment findings show that men tend to be more risk-taking, while women are more conservative. Motivation and financial literacy are key factors in effective financial planning. This article emphasizes the importance of better financial education to improve financial literacy among college students, so that they can manage their finances wisely and achieve their financial goals.

Abstract

Stock price fluctuations are a common phenomenon in the capital market. One of the internal factors that affect stock price fluctuations is the company's dividend distribution decision. Dividends distributed to shareholders can affect investors' perceptions of the company's value and share price. In determining the amount of dividends to be distributed, companies need to consider several factors such as leverage ratio, liquidity ratio, and profitability. The leverage ratio describes the extent to which the company uses borrowed funds. The use of high leverage can limit the company's ability to pay dividends. Conversely, low leverage provides greater financial flexibility to pay higher or consistent dividends. Leverage has a significant effect on stock price fluctuations. Companies with high leverage tend to be more risky for investors due to large interest obligations. As a result, their share prices are more volatile than companies with low leverage. In addition, high profitability indicates the company's ability to generate large profits. This allows the company to pay dividends more consistently or in large amounts. Conversely, low profitability may lead to withholding dividend payments. High profitability also supports stock price stability as it attracts investors. So it is necessary to analyse the effect of financial ratios and dividend policy on stock price volatility of food and beverage companies.

Abstract

Infotainment journalism is a form of journalistic practice that combines information and entertainment in news presentation, particularly concerning celebrity lives, the entertainment world, and light issues that attract public interest. This phenomenon reflects a shift in media orientation from educational and informative functions toward commercialization and the pursuit of ratings. This article discusses the main characteristics of infotainment journalism, its impact on journalistic integrity, and its implications for the quality of information received by the public. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, this study examines how mass media frame entertainment news and the extent to which journalistic values are upheld in content production. The findings show that although infotainment successfully attracts a wide audience, it often blurs the line between fact and opinion and risks compromising journalistic ethical principles.

Abstract

This article examines the application of the Murabaha contract as one of the most widely used financing instruments in Islamic financial institutions. Through a normative juridical approach, the study analyzes the legal foundations, implementation mechanisms, and compliance of Murabaha practices with the principles of Sharia Economic Law. The discussion highlights key aspects such as transparency in cost disclosure, the requirement of asset ownership by the financing institution, and the prohibition of speculative or interest-based elements. The findings indicate that, when implemented according to established Sharia guidelines, the Murabaha contract serves as an effective, fair, and sharia-compliant financing model that supports economic activities while promoting ethical financial interactions. This study also identifies common challenges in practice, including issues of documentation, risk allocation, and deviations from ideal Sharia procedures, and offers recommendations for strengthening regulatory oversight and institutional governance.
