Abstract

Bali is famous as an island with many unique traditions. The uniqueness of traditions found on the island of Bali is generally a legacy of the ancestors. The tradition contains the values that it wants to be inherited and should not be changed let alone abandoned. Values inthe tradition can be a guide in behaving for the people who own it. One of the traditions found in Bali is the ngamuk-amukan tradition in the village of Padang Bulia, Sukasada District. Tradition of ngamuk-amukan is traditions conducted in the village of Padang Bulia before the Nyepi celebration. This tradition is done as a symbol for human beings in implementing nyepi without having to hold the sense of resentment and anger. The ngamuk-amukan tradition is carried out by involving two people in a fight by blasting fire from danyuh which is burned. The ngamukamukan tradition contains religious values and social values. The religious value embodied in the ngamuk-amukan tradition is the belief that by doing this tradition it can eliminate all forms of anger and revenge ahead of the implementation of nyepi. In addition, this tradition is also believed to repel negative forces. While the social values that appear in the tradition are togetherness, self-control, and responsibility. In order to preserve the ngamuk-amukan tradition in the village of Padang Bulia, conservation efforts must involve all stakeholders in this case the provincial government, district or city government, and community who practice tradition.Keywords: Tradition, Value, Ngamuk-Amukan

Abstract

Geguritan not only as entertainment alone, but can be said as a means for an author inconveying his ideas, and invites us to remember our identity and culture is very valuable. Theprocess of creating geguritan is still ongoing in society, with various main topics and actualthemes being warmed up in the community. Proven with the birth of Geguritan Yadnya RingKuruksetra. Geguritan is loaded with the value of life, especially in terms of the implementationof a yadnya based on the teachings of Hinduism. This geguritan raises the virtue of a sincereiklasan wrapped in a very simple story. The values contained therein are packaged in a structure,they can be used as guidance in people’s lives. The problem to be studied as the target of thisresearch is about the aspect of the content concerning the structure that builds the values ofGeguritan Yadnya Ring Kurusetra namely: (1) how is the structure of Geguritan Yadnya RingKurusetra? and (2) how are the values of longing in Yadnya Ring Kurusetra Geguritan. Thetheory used in this study is the structural theory of literature, especially with regard to its intrinsicstudy. Writing method used is literature study on text over script and translation GeguritanYadnya Ring Kuruksetra. In the analysis used descriptive qualitative method with combinedtechnique of deductive with inductive. Based on the study conducted, Geguritan Yadnya RingKuruksetra using the language of Bali Kepara and using a kind of pupuh, namely pupuh sinom.Behind the simplicity of the story there are very great values contained religious values (reflectedin the Three Basic Frameworks of Hinduism), which is very useful, as a guide of Hindu societyin the life of society. Values are very interesting, can be used as a very good example forHindus, especially Hindus in Bali. Abstract

Reading and writing is one of the most important activities in learning and can be said all the learning process on the ability to read and write. This phenomenon can happen during this time, be parents more able to be able to read even before entering primary school. The ability to read and write, still active at the preoperational stage (2 - 6 years). Stages of thedevelopment of reading and writing ability that can be controlled by children aged 2-6 years. Children need to be trained with. To overcome the difficulty of reading can be done various kinds of things in accordance with factors that affect these students who have difficulty reading. Abstract

Human life between physical needs (clothing, shelter and health) and spiritual needs such as the need for compassion, security, self-esteem, sense of freedom, sense of success and curiosity. Therefore, the burden of happiness can not be done only for the environment, but also must be built by health personnel or their inner self. Abstract

Dhamma Wacana activities are needed in order to spread the teachings of dharma, so that religious people not only know the rules of course, but also understand the nature of religion and understand tattwa, moral and ceremony. Dharma Wacana is as one method of guidance and guidance for the community among Hindus, apart from dharma sadana, dharma tula, dharma yatra, dharma yatra, dharma santi and dharma gita. The six methods of coaching are called sad dharma. The essence of the Dharma Wacana lies in the principle of speech which is called the teacher of kerokhanian which is derived from the teachings contained in the Vedic scriptures, both Veda Sruti and Veda Smerti, in the form of Veda Vakya as a message that must be guided in behavior in thinking, saying / saying and do. Abstract

The ability to control oneself is something everyone should do even more so that he is a leader. Leaders who are able to control themselves will be more able to carry out and carry out their duties in the lead and will be more able to create a safe life, peace and peace to the community he leads. One of the self-controls a leader must perform is to control craving, anger, greed, drunkenness, arrogance and pride in him. In Hindu texts or literature, such matters have been clearly and explicitly stated and mandated. Texts such as Arthasastra and Sarasamuccaya clearly contain teachings about self-control. Abstract

Bali is a Tourist Destination Region that has tourist attraction spread in every Regency. Badung Regency has several villages that made as a tourist destination. One of the tourist villages is Sangeh Village. To be able to make the existing village into a tourist village, certainly not easy, needed a process, strategy to explore the existing potential of both culture, nature and environment by empowering the community of the village. “Indigeneus Knowledge” (lokal knowledge and skills) possessed by the lokal community is very potential to be developed as a component of tourism. In the face of increasingly complex competition and global economic competition, creativity becomes crucial to create competitive advantage, and business continuity. The sustainability of the Tourism Village requires a creative and innovative human, entrepreneurial spirit. Form of activity, creativity of the community in supporting development of Sangeh Tourism Village. The concept is able to empower the community to be able to provide quality services to tourists with a commitment to lokal wisdom. Structuring the environment to be able to provide a peaceful, relaxed, familial atmosphere, away from the modern lifestyle that is full of pressure, comfortable, able to create togetherness between tourism actors, travel service providers and other related and able to lift, display lokal and traditional products.Keyword : Creative, Local Community, Tourism, Village.

Abstract

The existence of Chinese ethnicity in the midst of Balinese life is an interesting thing to learn, especially the life of Chinese ethnic in the midst of the people of Sandakan Village, Sulangai Village, Petang, Badung Regency. The ability to interact with the surrounding community and the meaning of ethnicity are important things that need to be known. The pattern of interaction can be seen from the existence of mixed marriages with the local Balinese people, and inviting each other during religious rituals. Abstract

Bali is well known by the world community as a place that has many attractions. This tourist attraction encourages domestic and foreign tourists come to Bali. In addition to having a positive impact on local revenue or improving the welfare of surrounding communities, on the other hand there are problems related to the development of unplanned tourism. The development of unplanned tourism sector has caused negative impacts, traffic congestion, environmental degradation and diversion of agriculture farming functions which is used as the development of tourism facilities. To overcome the negative impact of tourism development, the development of tourism in Bali should be devoted to the development of sustainable tourism. One of the local wisdom in Bali that can be used as a foothold in the effort to realize the development of tourism is Tri Hita Karana. Tri Hita Karana is a concept built on the principle of harmony of life which consists of three elements that are interconnected with each other. The three elements are,parahyangan, pawongan, and palemahan. Parahyangan in harmony of relationship betweenhuman with God, pawongan goods harmony with human relationship, and palemahan tradeharmony with environment and nature. Implementation of of the concept of parahyangan can bedone by building places of worship around the tourist area, conducting prayer activities.Implementation of the concept of pawongan can be done by greeting each other with “OmSwastyastu” to all people encountered and maintain intimacy among religious people.Implementation of the concept of palemahan can be done by not storing garbage carelessly,keeping the environment free of air pollution, greening and tree planting.Keywords: Culture, Tourism, Sustainable Tourism

Abstract

Bali develops Subak as a Cultural Tour, because culture is the most potential for people’s lives in bali. The basic capital of cultural tourism is the culture of normative and operational functions. As a cultural normative role is expected to be able and potential in providing identity, basic handling, controlling pattern, so that the balance and culture ketahana also expected to be the main attraction for the increase of tourism. It gives a clue how important the role of culture in tourism development. So it does not mean culture for tourism but otherwise tourism for culture. Subak for the Balinese is not just an irrigation system, but also a life philosophy for the Balinese themselves. In view of the Balinese, Subak is a direct reflection of the Hindu philosophy of Tri Hita Karana (the three causes of goodness), which encourages harmonious relationships between individuals and souls (parahyangan), human (pawongan), and nature (palemahan). As a system of living together, Subak can survive for a century more because people are loyal to the ancestral tradition. Water distribution is done fairly, all issues are discussed together, even up to the time of planting and the type of rice. Sanctions against all forms of offenses will be determined by the residents themselves through a ceremony performed at the temple.
