Abstract

Health problems in the operator's posture while working have a significant impact on the products produced and indirectly affect the value of work efficiency, uncomfortable workplaces and environments cause company losses, including complaints of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDS). CV KOTAMA SHOES is a company that produces leather shoes, and in the production process, there are still movements and postures that are not ergonomic. This research was conducted to determine the value of risks contained in each work process, starting from the pattern & cutting, assembling, finishing, and storage of parts in the CV. KOTAMA SHOES is based on RULA and RWL scores and will provide proposed improvements to the company to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal disorders. This study uses the Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) method, a method that is used to analyze the upper body in detail, quickly and the angles formed by working posture, and the Recommended Weight Limit (RWL), a method used to calculate the recommended and recommended load limit for workers to lift under certain conditions. Results of measuring the level of ergonomic risk to complaints of muscle pain (myalgia) in production division workers in CV. KOTAMA SHOES pattern & cutting section gets a rula score of 5 for posture, this assembling gets a score of 7 for posture, finishing gets a score of 5 for posture and storage gets a score of 3 for posture. Based on this score, the posture of the assembling part is at level 4, which is very risky, further treatment needs to change as soon as possible. Improvement recommendations are given to reduce/solve workers' problems with complaints of muscle pain (myalgia) in the production department in CV. KOTAMA SHOES is by changing the movement or working posture in the production of leather shoe processing and the recommended object load for the type of work performed by employees in the assembling section is a maximum of 15.73 kg with a lifting index of 0.082 kg.

Abstract

Supplies are always needed by every company, both small companies, and large inventories. Without an inventory of raw materials, the company is faced with the risk that one day the company will not be able to meet the needs of consumers. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of raw material purchased at each message with the lowest cost and find out the right time period to place an order for raw materials by calculating with the raw method. The data studied is in the form of data on raw material needs, data on ordering costs, storage costs, frequency of raw material purchases, and the amount of raw material purchases during 2021. The approach used is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and Period Order Quantity (POQ) Methods. Meanwhile, the calculation using the POQ method is lower than the company's policy, with the purchase of raw materials as many as 1,170 pallets with a frequency of 6 times, and 34 pieces of plywood with an order period made 10 times a year with a total inventory cost that must be spent of Rp. 4,581,178, or only 26% of the current method carried out by the company. By using the POQ method, the company can save inventory costs of Rp. 12,964,990. and safety supplies of 56 pallets and 6 sheets of plywood and re-ordered when the raw materials amounted to 1,296 pallets and 33 sheets of plywood. Based on the conclusions above, the author advises companies to consider using the POQ method to determine the need for raw materials needed.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) engaged in aluminum smelting and is the only company engaged in the aluminum smelting industry in Indonesia. This research was conducted in the spare parts warehouse, where the problem is that the layout of the warehouse is still random and not neat, causing disruption of the storing issuing process and activities in the warehouse. Shared storage and dedicated storage is a methods of redesigning the storage layout to get a repair design. Then to get the optimum design results, the calculation results of the two methods are compared to obtain an efficient improvement design from the actual conditions. The results of the shared storage design obtained a mileage minimization of 1,133.18 m. Dedicated storage can minimize mileage by 394.59 m. This distance has decreased from the previous distance the initial layout distance was 5,639.00 m. So that the optimal method used is the shared storage method with a distance reduction of 4,505.82 m of material handling travel from the initial conditions. With this research, it is hoped that the spare parts warehouse will be neater and more organized so as to facilitate activities in storing and picking up goods, and can save used blocks.

Abstract

PT. Sumatra Hakarindo in its operation is not free from problems encountered such as work accidents, occupational diseases and the negative impact of the industry on the surrounding environment, so the level of human work safety as a factor of production is needed so that optimal productivity can be achieved. The application of work safety programs for workers is an important supporting effort in production activities. The work safety program system consists of several program elements and their supporters. In this study the measurement of the results of work safety efforts and the safe T value, the frequency level to express the number of accidents that occur every 1,000,000 hours worked from the employee's "work hours" home. The safe T value is a measurement that aims to compare the results of the accident reduction rate achieved for that work. From the implementation of the Occupational Health program at PT. Sumatra Hakarindo can be said to have been implemented quite well. Accidents that occurred in 2018 -2020 were 15,13,11 accidents. With a frequency rate from 2018-2020 it is 64.6; 49.9; 36,1. The severity level that occurred in 2016-2018 was 458.9; 284.2; 233,2. With a safe T value in 2018 it is known - 950.2 in 2019 it is - 1098.2. The decrease in accident rates and the severity of accidents from year to year will increase labor productivity.

Abstract

The Kerasaan irrigation area is an irrigation area located in Pematang Bandar District, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra Province. With a functional area of ​​5000 (Ha) and a primary irrigation channel area of ​​31.02 (km). In optimizing irrigation performance in the Kerasaan irrigation area, maintenance of the irrigation network infrastructure must be carried out, one of which is by evaluating the irrigation channels in the area. This evaluation aims to identify and analyze the condition and function of irrigation assets in the Kerasaan irrigation area, so as to optimize the function of the irrigation canal to irrigate the lands in the irrigation area. The method used in evaluating the irrigation canal is the observation of method by tracing the irrigation network using a tool (GPS) to find out the coordinates of the channel point and documenting asset damage with a camera/mobile phone. Based on the results of the analysis, the total length of damage to the channel structure of the pair is 10 m from a combination of several segments in 2 canals in the primary channel with a total damage index of 0.70%. In the Kerasaan primary channel from the survey results as far as (± 1500 m) in the field, there are 1 unit of side spillway building, 2 units for tapping, and 2 units of mud bag building. The results of the analysis can be used for planning the construction of irrigation buildings by planning structures, sluice gates and measuring buildings.

Abstract

In making a comparison of the unit price of work (HSP) using the 2016 SNI regulations in the implementation of the construction of the AJIBATA Public Health Center, which is located on Jln. Construction of 2 AJIBATA, Pardemean AJIBATA, District, AJIBATA, Toba Regency, North Sumatra Province. The comparison is carried out using the 2016 Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) and the 2021 Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) by comparing the two analyzes used to see the comparison of material prices, wages, in each year and also the results of the second comparison. This analysis can be used as a reference in the future in carrying out the construction of other public facilities. In this stage, the data obtained directly in the field are used and also the plan drawing data used in calculating all the volumes of work to be carried out. The price of materials and wages in each region is very influential in the implementation of project development, so research is carried out to get a better price so that the use of funds can be maximized as well as possible. In the comparison of Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) 2016 and Work Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) 2021, the cost comparison of all work items between the two analyzes is 15%, of which the 2016 Unit Price Analysis (AHSP) has a cost of IDR 3,758. 157,389,76 and Analysis of Work Unit Price (AHSP) 2021 Rp. 4,337,533,610,2, . From the results of the second comparison, the analysis used does not include overhead / profit.

Abstract

In 1999, the Department of Regional Development issued a specification regarding the Guidelines of planning mixed hot asphalt with absolute density apporach (Pedoman Perencanaan Campuran beraspal Panas dengan Pendekatan Kepadatan Mutlak). One of the specifications issued is Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC – WC) as the second layers in tiers of different types of asphalt concrete is the topmost layer in the roughness supple. Generally, asphalt is used as a binder, in a mix of this AC – WC uses LLDPE 5% and 7% as a substitute of most asphalt, in order to increase the value of its stability, as well as one of the concrete steps as handling reductiong waste that is difficult to unravel with the increase in the value of the function. Stages of asphalt mixture with LLDPE as a substitute of most asphalt include testing asphalt, Fine Aggregate, Coarse Aggregate and Filler Testing in order to find out its characteristic against Marshall Test. The highest percentage in the early immersion is owned by a mixture with pure sample levels, then followed by the addition of 5% and 7% of LLDPE in lieu of most asphalt. The results of testing gravity on the aggregate of split stone is 2.576gr/cc. Levels of asphalt plan which will be used for pure sample is 6.25% of total mixture, followed by 6.25 with a mixture of 5% LLDPE and 6.25 mixed with 7% LLDPE. The results are 5% flow is 3,70, 7% LLDPE is 3.70%, the stability of 5% and 7% LLDPE are 924 kg/cm2 and 735kg/cm2 , and Marshall Quotient 5% and 7% of the linear low density poly ehylene is 255.00 kg and 200,00 kg.

Abstract

Organic soils pose many obstacles to the construction that will be built on it and are generally caused by physical properties of organic soils which have very high water content and low carrying capacity. The physical properties of a material will greatly affect the mechanical properties of the material as well as the organic soil. The mechanical properties of organic soils are very low, for example the value of free compressive strength (UCT). One method to increase the carrying capacity of the soil is by adding or mixing with materials that have a high soil carrying capacity. Adding lime to the sample in this study is expected to increase the carrying capacity of organic soil against free compressive strength (UCT). Then the sample is given the addition of lime with an additional percentage of 2%, 4%, 6%, 8%, 10% to see the comparison of the value of compressive strength (qu), after the addition of lime. The results of free compressive strength testing showed soil behavior in a sample condition with the addition of lime up to 10% experienced an increase in qu. The more the mixture of lime in the soil sample, the greater the value of free compressive strength (qu). In the original soil the value of free compressive strength (qu) was 0.837 kg / cm2, the soil was remoulded at 0.886 kg / cm2, and the free compressive strength (qu) at the addition of lime 10% was 1.132 kg / cm2.

Abstract

Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY adalah salah satu perusahaan di Indonesia yang bergerak di bidang pengolahan minyak kelapa sawit dengan daerah pemasaran produk dalam dan luar negeri. PT. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY memiliki permasalahan yang berkaitan dengan rantai pasokan perusahaan, dimana sampai saat ini sistem manajemen pengukuran kinerja supply chain masih kurang maksimal. Pengukuran yang dilakukan masih bersifat fungsional-based dimana pengukuran dilakukan di masing-masing divisi atau bagian yang ada di PT. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY. adapun solusi atas permasalahan ini yang diupayakan dengan mengukur dan meningkatkan kinerja rantai pasokan perusahaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah action research. Penyelesaian masalah dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan SCOR (Supply Chain Operations Reference). Dari hasil pengukuran kinerja supply chain dengan menggunakan metode SupplyChain Operation Reference (SCOR) terdapat 28 KPI yaitu 6 KPI untuk perspektif plan, 8 KPI untuk perspektif source, 4 KPI untuk perspektif make, 6 KPI untuk perspektif deliver, dan 4 KPI untuk perspektif return. rata-rata nilai indeks total sebesar 7,42. Berdasarkan traffic light system, nilai indeks tersebut berada pada kategori kuning yang menunjukkan bahwa performansi supply chain PT. Sumber Jaya Indahnusa COY secara keseluruhan belum mencapai performa yang diharapkan meskipun hasilnya mendekati target yang ditetapkan.

Abstract

CV.Fast Aksara Multimedia is a trading business in the field of furniture furniture that produces elementary student desks, elementary student chairs, teacher desks, teacher chairs, filing cabinets and blackboards. In the production process, there are still various problems including a lot of cutting materials that are not precise in their measurements and receiving raw materials that are not in accordance with company standards. This results in inappropriate products such as elementary school student desks and elementary student chairs. The purpose of this study is to determine the number of products that are not suitable and the costs incurred as a result of these products and can make improvements and reduce products that are not in accordance with the wishes of the company. In this case, the researcher uses the concept of Cost Of Poor Quality in determining internal failure costs and external failure costs in the furniture business. The results of product research that are not in accordance with the company's wishes are 1,068 units with costs incurred of Rp. 293,350,000. As for recommendations for improvements that can be made to reduce the cost of products that are not suitable, reduce precision in the production section and set standards for receiving raw materials and quality control for suppliers.
