Sadharananikarana: Jurnal Ilmiah Komunikasi Hindu is an academic journal has been published since 2019 twice annually (May-November) by Program Studi Magister Ilmu Komunikasi Hindu IAHN Gde Pudja Mataram. This journal publishes original researches in multi concepts, theories, perspectives, paradigms and methodologies on communication studies. Abstract

This research is directed to get a study of Communication Strategies of Hindu Religious Instructors in Minimizing the Conversion of Hindus in the City of Mataram. The problem revealed in this study is how is the form of communication of Hindu religious instructors in minimizing religious conversion, what are the supporting and inhibiting factors experienced by Hindu religious instructors in minimizing religious conversion, and how communication strategies are used by Hindu religious instructors in minimizing religious conversion in the City Mataram This type of research is qualitative research while the data obtained by the method of observation, interviews and documentation of literature, then the data is interpreted by giving meaning, explaining patterns and characteristics between various concepts. To get the patterns and characteristics it is supported by symbolic communication theory, attitude theory and communicative action theory. Some components that can be analyzed and concluded include: First, the form of communication of non-civil servant Hindu religious instructors in minimizing religious conversion to Hindus in the city of Mataram, namely by interpersonal and group communication; Second, supporters and obstacles that are faced by non-civil servant Hindu religion instructors in minimizing religious conversion, that is, religious conversion can no longer be seen as something normal, given the shift in belief in religious teachings, where the behavior of some converts causes others to be influenced. This is very worrying for the further development of Hinduism, where the community is a heterogeneous society or has a high level of diversity and the role of the family is very important in anticipating the conversion of religion; Third, the material mastery strategy, communication skills, and family roles carried out by non-civil servant Hindu religious instructors in minimizing religious conversion can be explained in the implementation of guidance and coaching in the form of dharma discourse and dharmatula which are carried out every month, where the communication process of a Hindu non-religious instructor Civil servants need a strategy in the delivery of material with the aim that the Hindu instructors more easily deliver the material to Hindus in the city of Mataram.

Abstract

Marriage is the basic right of every human being to form a complete household with the aim of continuing descendant, in accordance with the constitution number 39 year of 1999 concerning human rights. In marriage ceremonies there are a lot of variety happening in the community based on ethnic with one another in one nation, religion, culture, and social class, which is sometimes clashed with certain religious rules or laws. Marriage is considered valid if it is carried out according to the marriage law of each religion and belief and is recorded by the authorized institution according to the applicable legislation. Thus marriage is a bond in which husband and wife or both people become one entity and become a relationship that is so unique and very exclusive. Marriage is something that has existed for a long time, is very universal and has become a special tradition in human life. There are no differences such as; community, economy and political system. Thus the problem can be formulated as follows: 1) ‘nyerod’ marital communication strategy for the Hindus in Mataram city; 2) Communication process for ‘nyerod’ marriage to the Hindus in Mataram city; and 3) Implications of communication of ‘nyerod’ marriage to the Hindus in Mataram city. This research uses a qualitative approach, data collection techniques are through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation and data analysis using interpretative descriptive. The results of the study are explained as follows; The Communication Strategy in Nyerod Marriage for the Hindus in Mataram are of two main explanations, namely; 1) Receiving the implementation of specialization for women of the Ksatria dynasty by Wangsa Wesya, getting approval from the old people of the Wesya, and 2) Not accepting the implementation of specialization so that the perpetrator chooses running married by loving each other, to realize his marriage the communication strategy that is applied is to flee to marry without being known by the parents. Communication process in Nyerod marriage to the Hindus in Mataram is through 1) Patiwangi Ceremony: 2) Ngetelunin Ceremony: 3) Ceremony of Mewidi Widhana. The implications of Nyerod Marriage of the Hindus in Mataram is sanctioned either by the families of the perpetrators, the families of the bride and the society.

Abstract

The development of the times makes the mindset of humans also develop in accordance with existing developments. In implementing religious teachings, Hindus are always guided by three basic frameworks of Hinduism, namely: (1) Sraddha (belief); 2) Susila (religious ethics); and (3) Religious Events (yadnya ceremonies). These three basic frameworks are always related to one another. The process carried out at the otonan ceremony is as follows: 1) facilities needed include; leaves, fruits, snacks, nuts (bija-bija), rice, sticky rice, chicken, duck, pork, eggs, coconut, pane, mortar (lumping), chicken cage, etc., 2) Upakara levels, namely Nista, Madya and Utama, 3) The time of implementation, among others, there are those who carry out at the age of 210 days, there are those who carry out at the age of 610 days or more, and there are those who carry out sustainable autonomy. 4) The procedures include; Sulinggih uploads mapuja, Ngaturang pengastawa to Surya, Nyirat bebanten, ngaturang kerik shampoo, ngaturang rayunan, Mesolasan to Sor, joint worship, descends to the ground followed by a round of mortar and magogo-gogoan, hair cutting, Majaya-jaya, Natab Semayut, Nunas Tirtha wangsuhpada, Owing to Handling, Megat Bebalik, and finally throwing hair to Segara/Sea, 5) The leader of the ceremony Price where they are masurya, or people who are elder in the output for sustainable otonan and the Islamic Mangku Kemalik for the Megat Bebalik ceremony, 6) The type of offer consists of; daksina, squeeze, jerimpen, kurenan, conjurer, pengambean, penyegjeg, pagah tuuh, pajegan, tissues, greetings, and bajang.

Abstract

The purpose of national education is to make a smart nation and develope a wholly Indonesian people, namely human beings who believe and devote to the Almighty God and have virtuous character, knowledge and skills, physical and spiritual health, a solid and independent personality and responsibility. Hindu religious education becomes guidance to fulfill life and educate society, how should become a good personality, conduct or behave not against dharma or ethics. Efforts to improve the quality of intellectual education, development of religious culture by teachers to the students at Vocational High School I of Ubud is continouesly improved in order to educate and advance Hindus nationally. The development of religious culture towards the Hindu generations is the cultivation of religious values ​​as a personality culture, so that they become virtuous human beings. But the development of the religious culture of the younger generation of Hindus in Vocational High School I of Mas Ubud has not been able to show maximum results if it is seen from attitude and morals. Regarding the social and cultural conditions of students at Vocational High School I Ubud, which are currently ravaging education nowdays, researcher is interested in searching three main problems. 1) What is the process of developing religious culture towards students in improving the quality of religious education in Vocational High School I of Ubud ?; 2) What are the forms of religious culture in improving the quality of religious education in Vocational High School (SMK) I of Ubud ?; 3) What are the implications of religious culture for students related to the improvement of the quality of religious education in Vocational High School (SMK) I of Mas Ubud?, and with three relevant theories namely structural theory, functional stratification theory, and role theory. The hope of the community in developing religious culture for the students as Hindu generation is also mentioned in the scripture of Sarasmuscaya, because the opportunity to be a human being is very important, because being human can improve bad deeds to be good ones. Efforts to understand religious values ​​will influence the positive attitude that must be possessed by every student as a Hindu generation, especially the Hindu as a form of Sradha Bhakti (belief and devotion).

Abstract

Puppet is one of the media used in communication process played by a puppeteer. The mastermind's expertise in performing shadow puppet, either as a performance or guidance greatly influences the message process that will be conveyed in the puppet show as a media of communication in delivering the meaning of the ritual of Rsi Gana in Lombok. The specific purpose of this research is to describe and analyze the form, function, and meaning of the mastermind's communication in the Gedhog shadow puppet. This research is conducted with a qualitative method, so that data analysis is carried out descriptively - qualitatively. This research was conducted in Lombok, at which the Rsi Gana ceremony followed by the Gedhog puppet. Communication with the mastermind of gedhog pupeet in communicating the meaning of the ceremony used the SMCR theory and Symbolic Intercionism Theory. Based on the results of the study it is known that the form of Gedhog puppet communication in delivering the meaning of Rsi Gana to the people in Lombok, 1) verbal communication and 2) forms of non-verbal communication, in conveying the messages contained in the story through pupeet figures and symbols in the puppet show that have the meaning associated with the ceremony accompanied, in this case is the Rsi Gana ceremony. The communicative function of gedhog puppeteer is to communicate the meaning of Rsi Gana to the people in Lombok 1) Social Functions, 2) Religious Functions, and 3) Functions of Instrumental or educational functions. Meaning of bedhog pupeet unication in communicating the meaning of Rsi Gana's ceremony through the characters of the shadow puppet performance 1) social meaning, 2) religious meaning, 3) meaning of education.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out leaders who have nearsightedness (BURAM). The desired leader today is a leader of humility and true leadership can be imitated and innocent as an example from the life story of Nelson Mandela. A great leader of South Africa, who brought his people from a racist country to a democratic and independent country. Since then many changes in him. So that Nelson Mandela becomes a humble human being and wants to forgive those who have made him suffer for years. The findings can be found that begin to lead from the heart and go out to serve those they lead. Changing character is everything for a true leader. Without change from within, without peace of mind, without humility, without solid integrity, endurance in the face of difficulties and challenges, and clear vision and mission, one can never be a true leader.

Abstract

The global situation makes life more competitive and opens opportunities for people to achieve a better status and level of life. The positive impact of global conditions has encouraged people to continue to think and improve abilities, while the negative impact of globalization is in the form of anxiety life, conflict, stressed, frustration, the tendency of disciplinary violations to the use of addictive substances. The negative impact of globalization also occurs in students of State Junior High School 11 of Mataram, some students show behavior dominated by disciplinary violations to juvenile delinquency, this is inversely proportional to character education promoted by the government and the vision of State Junior High School 11 of Mataram. To develop personality and behavior in school is certainly the main task of the teacher especially counseling teacher as a counselor. The strategy needed is through effective communication between counseling teachers and problematic students so that the similarity of meaning to behavior change in problem students is achieved. The purpose of this study was to (1) describe the form of effective communication between counseling teachers and problem students, (2) describe the communication effectiveness of counseling tutors, (3) capture the communication meaning of counseling teachers and problem students in Mataram 11 Junior High School. This research uses qualitative research methods. The basis of the theory used is the theory of symbolic interactionism, the communication theory of the SMCR model and nonverbal sign theory. Technique of collecting data in this research is method of observation, interview and documentation studies. Data analysis used is data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Data checking uses data triangulation techniques. The obtained results study are; (1) an effective form of communication between counseling tutors and problem students using interpersonal communication contained in individual service processes in the counseling process. (2) communication effectiveness shows that the process of delivering messages by counseling tutors acting as sources that convey messages in the form of personality ethics through channels or media to students as receive so that the similarity of meaning between counseling teachers reaches the purpose of the message conveyed in counseling process. (3) the meaning of communication in the counseling process is the meaning of a well-accepting counseling, meaning of a rejecting guidance and a dependent meaning and threating in the guidance process which is demonstrated through nonverbal behavior during the counseling process.
