Abstract

This study discusses the design of mobile-based goods donation applications using the framework React Native. In Indonesia, there are many online donation platforms, but most donations are money. However, the first needs of victims of natural disasters are not money but primary goods. In addition, based on Carousell's Preloved Indonesia 2017 Trends Report, 82% of the 1,000 respondents piled up unused items in their homes in Indonesia. Therefore, a mobile-based item donation application makes, where donated goods are items that have not been used. The goal is to make it easier for users to donate goods, wherever and whenever. The application builds using the framework React Native with RESTFul API and MySQL as a database programming language. Tests carried out are functional system testing using black-box testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) and testing using a questionnaire. The functional system runs according to the defined requirements based on the test results. The test results are based on 100% black-box testing and 100% UAT and questionnaires with an average value of 87.4%.

Abstract

This study discusses the budget approval process at the Nurul Fikri Integrated Technology High School Facilities and Infrastructure Unit, which is inflexible because it requires a physical supervisor's signature, management of the procurement of goods that have not been carried out centrally and is expected to reduce delays in the fulfillment of goods and repetitive work. Therefore, an STT-NF Goods Budgeting application is needed to facilitate submissions and streamline time in meeting the needs of goods and data backup. The method used in designing the STT-NF Goods Budgeting application uses a literature review, interviews with the head of the Integrated High School Facilities and Infrastructure Section, Nurul Fikri, and the Incremental Development System method in stages. The study results showed the suitability of the features as expected; 96% of users stated that the features in the information system were by the process of submitting existing goods.

Abstract

The game "Ksatria Budaya" is an Android-based mobile game, designed as a medium for introducing Indonesian cultural heritage. This game uses Unity as a game engine and JSON as a database. This game is a combination of side scrolling game and quiz game. To see the feasibility of this game, the author will do 3 tests, namely black-box testing, compatibility testing, and usability testing. The development of this game begins with conducting a literature study related to research, culture and also the cultural heritage itself. Questions that appear in the game are based on data on the Ministry of Education and Culture website. The Agile SCRUM method was chosen by the author in the development of this game. The stages are carried out through creating user stories, designing product backlogs, sprint planning, sprints, and sprint reviews. The results of this game test are, all the functions in the game run well, the game can be installed and run on different devices, and gets a score of 83% for usability testing. Where if it is categorized by the score interpretation criteria table, this game is included in the very feasible criteria for use.

Abstract

In an organization, one of the most important is the processing of data and information, with the larger and complexity of an information system, the need for data processing and integration is a big concern for many organizations. STT-NF now has started to utilize technology and develop applications to support the ease of academic community. One of the applications developed is a mobile-based academic information system application. Currently STT-NF already has an academic system called AIS with a web platform located in ais.nurulfikri.ac.id. However, there is a problem when the academic information system will be developed in STT Terpadu Nurul Fikri with a platform or with a different programming language, the problem is the unavailability of web services that are able to integrate the system with other systems to be developed, thus complicating development, especially in terms of exchange, integration and processing of data. Therefore, it is necessary to design and create the service (web service) to solve the difficulties experienced by the AIS system. This study will design and create a web service API study result card module for academic information system mobile applications in STT NF using RESTful – Spring Framework, which in addition to providing services for other systems in need, also offers the ease of bridging data exchange without any concerns about the differences in platforms and programming languages. Design web service module KHS using waterfall development method, waterfall aims to produce a software or system that has been determined with the best quality. Waterfall prioritizes interaction with stakeholders at the beginning of the project to get a clear picture, and when using the waterfall process, each team completes a stage, then the team must advance to the next stage and be expected without repeating the previous process.

Abstract

Using the website as an information system to support internal activities is one of the factors for the success and progress of educational institutions. One is using information systems to facilitate the academic community in registering for graduation. At STT Nurul Fikri, the registration process for graduation was still done manually and was too time-consuming. The purpose of this study was to design and build a website-based graduation registration information system (SIPUDA) using the Yii 2 framework. The method used in this research is a case study that collects data through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are a graduation registration information system that can help students register for graduation at STT Nurul Fikri whenever and wherever they are without having to take up a lot of time. However, a feature that has not been successfully created is the notification feature integrated directly with student emails.

Abstract

A website must meet the needs of its users. Of course, when users access a website, they are sure to find the information they are looking for. For this reason, it is necessary to pay attention to the web page that meets the needs of its users. In paying attention to this, an evaluation of the usability of the user interfaces on the website of PT. Enzym Biotechnology Internusa with feedback provided by users based on their experiences when interacting with the website. It is hoped that with this test, the results of the usability of the user interface design on the website using the Heuristics Evaluation method can be known, and the results of the analysis can determine the effect of effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of information experienced by users on the website. The test method uses Heuristics Evaluation, with a sample of ordinary users and users who usually access the website; data collection is done using a questionnaire. The results obtained from this study showed that respondents agreed that the overall Heuristics aspect was quite good, the website's usability was relatively easy to understand, the display met user expectations, and the information provided was entirely in line with reality.

Abstract

This study focuses on implementing a geographic information system using ArcGIS 10.8 software to manage chili plantations in Clekatakan Village, Kab. Pemalang. The purpose of this study is the implementation of a geographic information system (GIS) for chili plantation management that can display the distribution of plantation area and design a GIS that has the feature of calculating chili production predictions in the following year, as well as knowing the results of the evaluation of the implementation of the system made. The development method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP). This research is a mixed method, a combination of quantitative and qualitative research types. Qualitative research with a case study approach to design a GIS to be implemented. Quantitative analysis for processing production prediction data. To make predictions using the Double Exponential Smoothing Holt forecasting method. The result of this research is the presentation of plantation mapping information using Arcgis 10.8 for chili plantation management. The system evaluation results using the Black Box and User Acceptance Test (UAT) method conducted by the user stated that the system was successfully implemented and quite helpful for monitoring chili plantations in Clekatakan Village. The system created in this study succeeded in designing a map of the distribution of chili plantations and other information and predicting harvest times using ArcGIS Desktop 10.8 software. The production prediction feature has been successfully implemented in a different system, which is implemented in Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

Baitul Maal Foundation PLN West Kalimantan Regional Main Unit, as one of the National Amil Zakat Institutions, develops various programs, including da'wah programs. The da'wah program, until now, in providing reports is still manual. The manual system has resulted in several problems, including submitting da'wah reports to the YBM PLN West Kalimantan Regional Main Unit. So we need a da'wah reporting application design to make it easier to submit reports. Building this system is carried out with the stages of data collection, namely literature studies, and interviews. System design and development phases using the Unified Modeling Language diagram modeling and the Unified Process development model. The program's implementation in this application uses the PHP programming language, Laravel Framework, and MySql database. Based on testing the application's functionality using Black Box, the percentage of success is 100%. For the UAT test, the results are 100% on the admin side, 100% on the day side, and 100% on the guest side. Meanwhile, from the results of the questionnaire given to 10 respondents regarding the feasibility of the application, 90% of the results were obtained. It can conclude that the application of the da'wah reporting system makes it easier for the dai to provide reports.

Abstract

Dua is a series of worship related to the perfection of a Muslim's faith. In Islam, there are many prayers so that Muslims can remember their daily prayers, and media is needed to facilitate it. The media that is easy to use, and almost everyone has it, is a smartphone. Currently, prayer applications on smartphones have been widely developed, but based on surveys and observations made by the author to prayer application users, there are perceived shortcomings, including annoying ads, unattractive interface, unclear writing, and slow performance. This study aims to build an application that is attractive and convenient to use. This application is built with several technologies, including React Native Framework and Laravel. The development method used in this study uses the Waterfall method and UML Diagrams as the design system. The result of this research is an Android-based prayer collection application with several features: prayer list, prayer search, favorite prayer, prayer reminder, prayer category, prayer sharing, and prayer manager admin. Based on the System Usability Scale test with an average score of more than 85 points, it can conclude that the prayer collection application that has been built in this study is attractive and comfortable to use by a Muslim.

Abstract

Harapan Bangsa Vocational School is a private vocational high school that currently uses information technology in the form of a school website to support teaching and learning activities. There is a problem on the school's website that it is not optimal in terms of access to the level of convenience by students. This study will redesign the school website by applying material design and the approach to aspects of the Usability Nielsen's Model. The website has easy access from aspects of learnability, efficiency, memorability, errors, and satisfaction. The final result of the website redesign of the Harapan Bangsa Vocational School using a Likert scale of 5, the average usability value was 4.03, which means that the website's appearance has been good in applying the five categories of usability the Nielsen Model.
