Local knowledge of an area doesn't exist without reason; it has an accompanying purpose and philosophy. There are certainly goals and philosophies behind the local knowledge that the Tatar Karang community of Tasikmalaya District holds. This research aims to understand the local knowledge of the coastal forests of the Tatar Karang community. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with methods of observation, in-depth interviews, and literature studies. It is organized based on the cultural inventory structure of Kemendikbud 2016 and the SECI Model. Informants in this research include traditional elders, customary stakeholders, village heads, cultural figures, religious figures, community leaders, youth leaders, and leaders of traditional families. The results of the study indicate that: 1) Historically, the coastal forest is a heritage of the customary system that existed long before 1861 and was implemented as a legal system in place at the time; 2) Conceptually, the coastal forest serves as a protective measure for residents from various natural disaster threats originating from the direction of the ocean; 3) Factually, the condition of the coastal forest is quite concerning due to land use conversion policies, resulting in much of its area being damaged; and 4) Strategies for preserving the coastal forest can be done through: 1) the SECI Model analysis, which includes socialization, externalization, combination, and internalization. This ensures that stakeholders, traditional internal parties, can supervise objectively; 2) maximizing the cultural approach through developing three traditions: hajat lembur, marak, and rarangkén huma; and 3) a popular method using new media. In conclusion, preserving this intangible cultural heritage is vital and, at the very least, should be done through inventory. Thus, this tacit knowledge heritage can be documented.

Students at SMP Negeri 1 Sumber possess digital media literacy skills. However, their knowledge and skills are limited to primary computer and internet fundamentals. This study aims to understand digital media literacy based on students' individual competencies at SMPN 1 Sumber in Cirebon District. The research employs a quantitative approach through a descriptive survey method. The results of this study indicate that the digital media literacy level of SMP Negeri 1 Sumber students is 85%. This percentage consists of three abilities: technical ability (81%), cognitive ability (88%), and communication ability (67%). Among these percentages, the lowest score is observed in the student's communication ability. This is because students lack the knowledge and skills related to content creation, whether informative or entertainment-based. However, the proportion for the other two indicators is high because students have knowledge and skills regarding media and its regulations. In conclusion, the digital media literacy of students at SMP Negeri 1 Sumber is high, suggesting they have a good grasp of digital media literacy.

The Electronic-Based Governance System (EBGS) mandates institutions at every level to manage their governance electronically. As a medium for managing authentic evidence stemming from an activity, archiving systems need to establish themselves as part of this electronic-based governance system. Hence, the process of archive distribution, as a component of the archiving system, becomes an issue that requires in-depth study through research. This raises the research question, "How can we comprehensively describe the archive distribution process at the West Java Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture through the Sidebar application?". The research aims to obtain a comprehensive description of the archive distribution process within the West Java Provincial Department of Tourism and Culture via the Sidebar application. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach and uses the archival staff of the West Java Cultural and Tourism Department as informants. The results show that in distributing archives, the West Java Cultural and Tourism Department utilizes various features in the Sidebar application, such as Incoming Mail, Copy Mail, Manuscript Digital Signature, Outbox, and Manuscript Validation. The West Java Department of Tourism and Culture uses these features in internal and external archival operational activities.
