This theme can be found in all love poems which later became the basis of all human search. The problem in both texts is the search that is not in accordance with social norms in society and the absence of spiritual aspects. The method in this research is an intertextual study by analyzing the contents and structure of the two texts. The results of the analysis revealed several aspects of the search; the search is carried out intensively, the search is driven by love born from the heart, the search goes beyond the norm in the eyes of the people, and the search involves God.

This paper shows that the Christian mission is often understood only as an attempt to make a person become Christians. The paradigm was born as a result of the practice of Christian mission that laden with discrimination and injustice and tend to reject differences. That's necessary to grasp the understanding of Christian mission as the mission of the triune God, not the mission of the church. By using the library research method with an interdisciplinary approach, this paper offers the mission model of the Triune God (trinitarian missiology) as a humanitarian mission and the church is invited to participate in it to manifest God's mission to all creation. Christian mission also means seeking interfaith dialogue in fighting and overcoming social problems such as poverty, injustice, and others as being common to other faiths (the other). The Christian mission which rests on the doctrine of the trinity is not a barrier to dialogue but emphasises the importance of unity in diversity.

This article explains the theology and practice of the Jesus Prayer. Prayer, to the average person, is asking God for something. But the Jesus prayer is not this. It is an attempt to change the one who prays. This prayer is traditionally a monastic prayer. Its simplicity allows everyone to practice it. In this prayer, there is faith and hope in the goodness of Christ. It is the prayer from our whole being. It is a cry out of the deep heart and nepsis without ceasing. The unceasing repetition of the Jesus Prayer kept the mind on the thought of God and dispersed all irrelevant thoughts (logismoi). This is the prayer requires watchfulness as a lantern requires a candle. Watchfulness, mature in Christ, the fruit of Spirit, and theosis will follow in the praying unceasingly: the Jesus Prayer.

Existential questions for human existence has always been very important for everyone to answer. The increasing number of disturbances as well as innovation in all areas in this disruptive era makes existential questions about life increasingly important for Christians. This interest moves the researchers to investigate a worldview education model that fits Christians today. Therefore, the research focuses on the formulation and education of Christian worldview that The Apostle Paul used in his letter to the Colossians. The study used Bruner's paradigmatic and narrative theory of thought to analyze the explanatory approach that Paul used in presenting his Christian worldview in his letter to the Colossians. This research also used the grammatical historical contextual interpretation method to study the logical development of Paul's argument, the situation behind each of Paul's statements and different subgenres that he used in the letter. Based on the interpretation the researchers then formulated the existential concept of Paul and the contextual approach he used to disseminate his Christian worldview to the saints in Colossae. The results of this study found that Paul used a combination of paradigmatic and narrative methods to explain his Christian worldview as a way to address the problem of syncretism that occurred in the Colossian church. Paul based his existential concept of human life in the grace of God which was powerfully pictured through the supremacy of the life and work of Jesus Christ. Paul explains that a Christian worldview can only be gained through faith in the gospel of the grace of Jesus Christ. The research found eight principles that Paul used as a model for Christian worldview education. They are: 1) The need to cultivate prayer life and prayer models that focus on God’s grace and peace, 2) The need to formulate a Christian worldview that solely emerges and focus on the gospel of Christ, 3) Worldview dissemination can be done through the current technology available for the learner, 4) The declaration of the believers’ true identity in Christ by grace as a paradigm, 5) Teaching Christian paradigms on Christ’s supremacy can be done through song, poetry or prose, 6) The need to explain the relationship between God’s grace and human’s trust, 7) Embracing suffering as life facts by the power of Christ as the believers wait for the final glorification, and 8) Developing a counter explanation for philosophies that undermine Christ’s grace and supremacy based on the true identity of the believers in Christ.

This paper is an attempt to include the role of Christian religious education as a strategy in counteracting religious Radicalism in Indonesia. The purpose of Christian religious education is significant in the lives of families, schools, churches, and the midst of plural society. The presence of Christian religious education in plural society becomes essential so that believers can live and apply their faith in daily life. The challenge of Christian religious education today is radicalism. Radicalism is an understanding that requires a change, turnover, and penetrating a community system to the root. Radicalism wants a total change in a condition or all aspects of community life. Radicals assume that the plans used are the ideal plans. The meaning of radicalism in a religious perspective can be interpreted as a theological understanding. That refers to a fundamental spiritual foundation with a very high religious fanaticism, so it is not uncommon for adherents of these understandings/sects to use violence to actualize the spiritual belief held and believed. In this case, there are several characteristics that can be identified from radical attitudes and perceptions, namely, intolerance (not wanting to respect the opinions and beliefs of others), fanatics (always feeling right on their own; think others are wrong), exclusive (assuming their religion is the most correct) and revolutionary (tend to use violent means to achieve goals). Seeing the development of radicalism that is increasingly developing in Indonesia, especially Radicalism in Religion, we try to include Christian religious education as a strategy in counteracting religious radicalism through teaching Christian religious education in families, churches, schools, and even amid plural society.
