Abstract

Palm pattern recognition is an important topic in the field of pattern recognition and biometrics. This study aims to develop a palm line pattern recognition method using the Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor (Fuzzy KNN) method to improve the accuracy and effectiveness of the individual recognition system. The research was conducted by collecting images, performing segmentation, feature extraction, and implementing the Fuzzy KNN method. Based on the results of the experiments that have been carried out, it can be seen that the average accuracy obtained is 20%, which means that the system is less able to recognize palm line patterns. This is due to a lack of dataset which causes poor recognition performance on the model.

Abstract

News presentation is generally structured in such a way that the information presented is well grouped, but the use of electronic media does not necessarily offer complete news categories because not all of the space offered can be filled with good presentation, so special treatment is needed so that readers get the news. needed which is arranged based on recommendations. To arrange this research to be more structured, the authors carried out several stages in completing the research, namely the Problem Identification Stage, Literature Study Stage, Data Collection Stage, Text Mining and TF-IDF Algorithm Implementation Stage, and conclusions. The author implements the text mining and TF-IDF algorithms in processing news title data starting with the Text Mining Algorithm where this stage is a preprocessing stage with the aim that the data to be processed is a basic word so that the weighting process in the TF-IDF Algorithm is not too broad. After the text mining stage, it will proceed to the TF-IDF stage, namely weighting the terms in each document. Text mining and TF-IDF algorithms are able to provide appropriate news recommendations based on the highest similarity in meaning both in terms of topic and object of the news title, for future research it is recommended to use other algorithms such as cosine similar so that recommendations are not only generated from the suitability of words but can also see the similarity of meaning so that research results can be even better.

Abstract

Aprogress in every field cannot be separated from technology as a support, especially IT, it must be balanced with an evaluation or audit of information systems so that losses can be prevented or avoided. Therefore, the company needs to carry out a control and audit of the information system at the company. Control techniques can be applied and aligned with IT goals and company goals, a measurement of the level of alignment between company goals and IT goals is needed using COBIT4.1. COBIT 4.1 is specific to the Monitoring and Evaluation (ME) domain.

Abstract

Sabisu Interior is an interior design service company located in Ngawi Regency. The operational management of ordering Sabisu Interior services has not yet used an information system. Problems arise because of the increasing number of customers and demand for the number of orders. Order, production and financial data management is still carried out by recording it in Microsoft Office applications. his raises the problem of discrepancies between order data, production data and financial data. In this research, a strategic planning of information systems and information technology will be carried out using the Tozer method. Several analysis tools are used such as Value Chain, PEST, CSF and Mc. Farlan Strategic Grid to provide an overview of IS/IT implementation. The research objective is to produce a portfolio of IS/IT strategic planning models that support Sabisu Interior's business strategy and vision and mission. The formulation of IS/IT strategic planning using the tozer method in this study produced an IS/IT strategic planning portfolio document. The results of this research in the form of a portfolio document contain 9 proposals for implementing IS/IT which will be used as recommendations for Sabisu Interior to make decisions regarding the development of IS/IT for the company in the future.

Abstract

Parks are recreational areas that are often visited by people to relax and unwind. However, sometimes parks are not well-maintained and become less attractive to visitors. The lack of park maintenance is often due to a shortage of human resources and inefficiencies in monitoring park conditions. Therefore, this research aims to address this issue by developing a Internet of things-based Smart Park monitoring and control system using NodeMCU ESP8266. This system allows park managers to monitor and control park conditions in realtime from a distance using parameters such as soil moisture, air humidity, temperature, and watering. This research uses a prototype method with stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, and evaluation. The Smart Park system was successfully implemented using NodeMCU ESP8266 and integrated with a telegram bot as a means of remote monitoring and control. This telegram bot allows park managers to check park environmental parameters. The integration of the Smart Park system with telegram bot has been proven effective in increasing park maintenance efficiency. The results of the study show that park managers can monitor park conditions more easily, thus reducing the burden on park managers.

Abstract

This research is a software research and development (software research and development) which aims to find out the results of the development of the Internet Of Thinking at SMK Negeri 9 Medan. Data was collected using interviews, questionnaires, measurements and documentation. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis techniques. The results of the research produce an e-library application that is used in library processing by utilizing the Internet of Think (IOT). The test results show very good results based on 5 aspects of ISO 25010 characteristics, namely: functional suitability in the good category, usability with the test results in the very decent category, portability with the test results running well on nine different types of Android, performance efficiency with good test results, and compatibility with test results can run well when run concurrently with other applications.

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) devices are now starting to be widely used, one of which is IoT Monitoring. The use of electricity by boarding house tenants is often negligent, they feel they have paid the boarding fee and are wasting electricity even though it is not used, for example, the lights in a boarding room where there are no people inside. Likewise with the bathroom if the water tub is full, often the occupants of the boarding house are indifferent to water. The use of ACS712 and ZMPT101B sensors to see the electricity usage of each boarding room. Boarding room security is strengthened by the use of RFID modules and PPIR sensors. Electrical tools and Solenoid Door Lock can be controlled via an android application. The accuracy of the sensor reading electricity usage is still below normal limits, namely 0.11% -0.74% for volts, and 0.72% -3.84% for current. In sending orders from the android application there is a delay in the response of the device due to factors that cannot be calculated, namely internet connection

Abstract

In Indonesia, the climate is mostly hot and humid, and most of the rainfall occurs. As a result, people are less aware of how much rain occurs inside rooms, homes, and offices. We need a warning to explain the problem so that we can take the necessary action when it rains. By creating Arduino-based rain sensors and implementing the fourth industrial revolution in everyday life, the study aims to raise awareness of rain unknowingly. The initial method is the implementation of the Raindrop Sensor based arduino which is an Arduino standard board based on the ATmega328P microcontroller. The Rain Drop Sensor Module works when it rains, when the electric vibration buzzer rains into sound vibration, then the buzzer will provide sound information. The research results of the sensor value of more than 500 with the green light indicator lighting the Buzzer does not emit noise then the conditions are not rainy or can be meant the weather is medium bright, then the sensor value is less than 500 by the indicator Buzzer on then emits the sound and the red lighting indicator color lighting, then indicates the rain condition.
