Abstract

The aim of this research is to clasify pathogen of Jabon’s leaf seedling based on spora morphological features using Probabilistic Neural Network classifier. Three types of pathogen to be classified are Colletotrichum sp., Curvularia sp., and Fusarium sp.. The methodologies used are data acquisition using optilab camera microscope to obtain microscopic image data , preprocessing (grayscale, median smoothing, thresholding Otsu, region filling, median smoothing and dilate), morphology feature extraction (area, perimeter, area convex, convex perimeter, compactness, solidity, convexity and roundness), Probabilistic Neural Network classification, and evaluation. The basic morphological characteristics consisting of area, perimeter, convex area, convex perimeter, and derived morphological characteristics consisting of compactness, solidity, convexity and roundness. The experimental results of the morphological feature extraction showed that the compactness and roundness characteristics can be used to identify the three types of pathogens because with these characteristics each class of pathogen is separate. Testing for this research was carried out using 150 test data from three classes of objects from the dataset, namely class 1 (Colletotrichum sp.), class 2 (Curvularia sp.), and class 3 (Fusarium sp.). Then the results of pathogen classification using the application of the PNN algorithm in testing this research obtained an average accuracy value of 86.8% with a proportion of training data and test data of 80:20. The results of the PNN classification on 150 test data were that there were 36 data classified into Colletotrichum sp., 44 data classified into Curvularia sp., and 50 data classified into Fusarium sp. Further research could be done with the identification of digital microscopic images without cropping and systems that could clasify a colony image of pathogens clearly.

Abstract

The Deli Serdang District Prosecutor's Branch is a government institution that exercises state power in the field of prosecution and authority. At the Prosecutor's Office, recording expenses is still done manually, so this is less efficient. Therefore, the Deli Serdang District Prosecutor's Office requires an effective and efficient system for financial management. The aim of the research is to simplify web-based financial recording at the Deli Serdang District Prosecutor's Office in order to increase efficiency, transparency and accuracy. In this research, the waterfall method is used. This waterfall method includes the stages of system requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing and maintenance. The results of the research, namely the output on the report page, prove that the system is running well and the testing stage of the Money Recording Application was carried out using the Black Box testing method. From the test results, the system runs well so that the web-based money recording application can be used.

Abstract

This research aims to facilitate the process of collecting data on high achieving students so that the data obtained is more accurate. To overcome the problems faced, the author will provide alternative problem solving by developing a system based on currently running computerized mobile-based data that uses codes and databases. A system that will be built using the waterfall method. This method was chosen because it describes a systematic and sequential approach. The conclusion of this research is that a mobile-based student achievement data collection application can provide a solution for managing student achievement data with accuracy. The system used using codular can be used easily. The design and code blocks used can be understood easily unlike other tools that require programmers to memorize the programming language that will be used later. Here, by using the application maker code has been provided blocks that will be arranged and make it a system that will run as we wish. With today's developments, making mobile applications is something we must learn in such a way as not to be left behind with today's technological developments. Because, with this mobile-based application, the application used can be used flexibly.

Abstract

As the use of automatic type of motorbike vehicles increases, the problem also increases in the automotive world because there are many users of automatic type motorcycle vehicles who do not understand how to care for and maintain the durability of their automatic motorbikes, especially the most important part of the motorbike, namely the the engine components. Machine maintenance is inseparable from lubricating oil which has a function in lubricating engine components so that they are maintained, durable, & away from rusting or even chipping because of friction between components one with another which results in damage to the motorbike engine so that their favorite motorbike has to be make repairs to the workshop. Moreover, the motorbike used is of the automatic type, where maintenance is much more complicated than other motorbikes, which are of the gear or clutch type. In determining the best engine oil for the best automatic motorbikes, starting from the contents of the package which are at least 1 liter, has a non-concentrated odor, and is able to keep the engine cool when the motorbike is used. Combination of the MOORA and ROC Methods in the selection of the best engine oil for the best automatic type motorcycle based on predetermined criteria for the “Evalube” brand alternative S5 oil with a preference value of 0.019 as the best engine lubricating oil for automatic type motorcycles. The application of the MOORA Method has a simple and easy-to-understand concept in selecting the best engine oil for automatic type motorcycles. The process of selecting the best engine oil for automatic type motorbikes using the MOORA and ROC methods, starts from determining the weight value of each criterion and then ranking the largest preference value as a consideration and aid in decision making.

Abstract

Motorcycle credit is a method of borrowing money from a financial institution, such as a bank or finance company, to buy a motorcycle. Naira Finance, as one of the leading finance companies in Indonesia, provides convenience for customers to own vehicles (both new and used motorcycles) of various brands. The job of a motorcycle loan manager is to decide whether or not to provide motorcycle loans to customers. To reduce the possibility of customer negligence in paying credit bills in the future, it is important to provide credit on time. As a supporting effort, credit managers should use a computer-based application known as a Decision Support System (DSS) to make credit granting decisions more accurate. A computer-based system known as SPK can assist managers in making both structured and unstructured decisions. Researchers try to combine the Rank Order Centroid (ROC) method and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method when deciding to give credit or not to customers. In preference to the SAW method of calculation, it is intended that the weighting results of the ROC method are significant. the results of the decision from the application of the ROC and SAWt methods, there are 5 alternatives that are accepted to receive credit because they are considered feasible and meet the requirements criteria specified as customers who are entitled to receive credit while the other 5 alternatives are rejected so that they are declared unable to receive credit because they do not meet the customer requirements criteria.

Abstract

The apprenticeship program is a learning activity in the field that aims to introduce and develop students' skills in a real work environment. Students who will take part in internships need to prepare as well as possible, not just focusing on the academic competencies they learn at school. On the other hand, they must also have experience, knowledge, and insight into a wide world of work. So far, appraising the performance of apprentice students is primarily based on disciplinary criteria. However, there are actually several other criteria that can also be taken into consideration in assessing the performance of apprentice students, such as Discipline, Performance, Creativity, Teamwork, Adaptation and Mastery of Work Materials. To conduct a more comprehensive assessment of the performance of apprentice students, a decision support system is needed. In this study, the method used is Simple Additive Weighting (SAW). The choice of this method is due to its ability to handle assessments by considering the priority values or weights that have been assigned to each criterion. The results of this study indicate that Alternative A4, represented by "Rezka," is the best alternative with a Vi value of 0.9472.

Abstract

The election of the OSIS Chair at the high school and vocational school level is still conventional, so it requires a lot of funds to be spent. Apart from that, many students were unable to vote because they were unable to attend due to illness or other reasons. Along with the development of sophisticated technology in this modern era, researchers want to implement Android-based general elections or what is called e-voting. This research aims to design an Android-based e-voting application and test the feasibility of the e-voting application product in the election of OSIS chairman and deputy chairman. Quantitative type research methods using the Research and Development (RnD) model with data testing tools using SPSS 16.0 for Windows as well as developing e-voting applications using prototype methods can make voting easier, reduce data manipulation, reduce voting twice and also speed up calculations and reporting. Based on the results of black box testing on the e-voting system, the trial was successful, so it can be implemented in the process of selecting the Chair and Deputy Chair of the OSIS in SMA/SMK. Feasibility trials carried out by 7 voters/users. The feasibility level for the Android-based e-voting system was 84.17%, which means it is very feasible.

Abstract

In the current digital era, the reliability and availability of websites have become critical factors in business operations. However, many organizations that use WordPress often face problems with the availability and access speed of their sites. This research focuses on the implementation of High Availability (HA) on WordPress using Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a solution to these problems. The research approach involves the use of a prototype method, which allows for concept testing and rapid iteration in a controlled environment. This process involves collecting data on server infrastructure and cloud computing, as well as configuring and testing relevant AWS services. The main goal is to develop a reliable and efficient WordPress infrastructure, focusing on the implementation of Elastic Load Balancing, Amazon RDS, storage buckets, and CDN distribution in the Lightsail environment. The research results show a significant improvement in the performance and reliability of WordPress sites. The HA implementation involves strategies such as using Elastic Load Balancing for efficient traffic distribution, data storage on Amazon RDS, and static media storage with storage buckets and content distribution. Performance evaluation confirms that the proposed solution improves the availability and access speed of WordPress sites.

Abstract

The Manpower Office (Disnaker) is a government institution tasked with supporting, controlling, and supervising the employment sector. In addition, the Manpower Office is also responsible for providing specialized skills training to prospective employees to the needs of the job market and providing broad access to employment opportunities. This research aims to cluster job seeker data based on education level in the Medan area using the K-Means Algorithm through a clustering method approach with the application of Data Mining Techniques using RapidMiner software to obtain accurate and relevant data. The results of the implementation of the K-Means Algorithm on job seeker data in the Medan area show the formation of 6 groups (k6) with a Davies Bouldin Index (DBI) value of 0.185. This study shows that the use of cluster (k6) as the optimal k provides the best DBI value, which is 0.185, indicating the level of similarity of data in each group is getting closer.

Abstract

CABJARI Deli Serdang is a branch of the North Sumatra District Attorney's Office which was formed in several regions, one of which is in Pancur Batu to facilitate the duties and authorities given. At the agency, in processing employee data, they still use Excel and web applications. So with that, this research makes a mobile-based system to process employee data to be more effective and efficient. The goal is to create accurate information including promotion or class, academic status, and position mutations and mutations between regions through the existing system. The system is made using the waterfall development method, through planning, design, implementation (development), and testing. The platforms used are Kodular and Airtable, Black box testing is used as a testing stage for the program that will be implemented, the test proves the system runs well. The results of this study produce a system design that can be developed to facilitate employee performance in managing employee data, where work can be done anywhere and anytime because the system is mobile-based.
