Jurnal Ekonomi dan Perbankan Syariah is a scholarly journal published by Islamic Banking Department, School of Islamic Economics STEI SEBI The JEPS journal has been issued since 2013 and it’s have published twice in a year in April and October. The journal has been publishing scholarly papers since 2013. Starting in 2018 onwards, we encourage authors to only submit research papers written in good-read English academic writing. The journal is designed to provide a forum for researchers or academicians and also practitioners who are interested in knowledge and in discussing ideas, issues and challenges in the field of Islamic economic and banking. To solve the problem of the ummah and to provide the solution for the gap between the theories and practices. The scope or coverage of this journal will include but are not limited to Islamic economics, Islamic business, Islamic banking, Islamic capital markets, Islamic wealth management, issues on shariah implementation/practices of Islamic banking, zakat and awqaf, takaful, Islamic corporate finance, shariah-compliant risk management, Islamic derivatives, issues of Shariah Supervisory Boards, Islamic business ethics.

Abstract

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh Kompetensi Agen Asuransi syariah, yaitu kompetensi pengetahuan, kompetensi skill, dan perilaku agen terhadap loyalitas nasabah asuransi AJB Bumiputera 1912 syariah cabang palmerah. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Data yang akan digunakan adalah data primer dengan kuesioner. metode yang digunakan adalah metode SEM (structural equation model). Hasil tes menunjukan bahwa pengetahuan secara parsial mempunyai pengaruh negative yang tidak signifikan. Sedangkan skill memiliki hubungan positif dan signifikan mempengaruhi loyalitas nasabah. Hal ini sejalan dengan perilaku agen yang juga signifikan mempengaruhi loyalitas. Secara bersamaan ketiga variable ini secara signifikan mempengaruhi loyalitas nasabah.Kata kunci: Kompetensi Pengetahuan, kompetensi Skill, kompetensi Perilaku, loyalitas nasabah dan SEM.ABSTRACT: This research aims to know the influence of the Insurance Agent's competence consists of knowledge of the agen and the Agent's skills towards the customer loyality on AJB Bumiputera 1912 Palmerah sharia branch office. Type of this research is quantitative research . Methods and techniques of data analysis in this study using Structural Equation. Based on the test, Partially substantiated knowledge competency that influence negative and not significant on customer loyalty, while competency with respect to the skills is significant and positive impact on customer loyalty, also competency of behaviour has positive relation but not significant to customer loyality. Simultaneously proved that these three independent variables (knowledge competencies, skills competence and behavior competence) have an influence positively and significantly to the dependent variables (customer loyalty.Keywords: Knowledge Competence, Skill Competence, Behavior Competence, Customer Loyalty, SEM

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Indonesia merupakan negara agraris dan sebagian besarpenduduknya bekerja sebagai petani dan pengusaha agribisnis. Masalah yang sering dihadapi oleh petani atau pengusaha agribisnis dalam mengembangkan bisnis adalah masalah modal. Harga komoditi berjangka jatuh saat panen, petani tidak punya pilihan selain untuk menjual barang komoditas ke tengkulak. Sistem Resi Gudang lahir untuk memenuhi kebutuhan petani dalam mendanai untukmembeli keperluan musim tanam berikutnya. Dengan sistem resi gudang, petani dapat memastikan barang komoditi yang disimpan di gudang mendapatkan pinjaman dari bank atau lembaga keuangan dan kemudian menjual kembali saat harga mulai membaik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mendapatkan jawaban tentang mekanisme penerbitan, transfer, penyelesaian janji, dan resi gudang dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi transaksi resi gudang. Metode penelitian yangdigunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan analisis data kualitatif dankuantitatif.Kata kunci: Sistem Resi Gudang, Perbankan, KomoditasABSTRACT. Indonesia is an agricultural country and most of its residents work as farmers and the agribusiness entrepreneurs. The problem often faced by farmers or agribusiness entrepreneurs in developing a business is a capital problem. Future commodity prices fall harvest, farmers have no choice but to sell commodity goods to middlemen. Warehouse Receipt System was born to meet the needs of farmers will be funding to buy the purposes of the next planting season. With a warehouse receipt system, farmers can ensure a commodity item that is stored in the warehouse to get a loan from banks or financial institutions for commodity goods and then resel l when prices began to improve. This study was conducted to get answers about the publishing mechanisms, transfer, pledge, and warehouse receipts settlement and the factors that affect the warehouse receipt transactions. The research method used is descriptive method with qualitative and quantitative data analysis.Keywords: Warehouse Receipt System, Banking, commodity

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that cause Non Performing Financing of murabahah financing at BMT Al- Bina Tasikmalaya and the strategies used by BMT Al- Bina Tasikmalaya in preventing and handling non-performing financing. This research uses descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach using SWOT analysis. The stages use EFE and IFE, followed by a SWOT matrix, and the last is QSPM. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation, and questionnaires. The results of this study indicate that customer character is the biggest factor and a serious threat to BMT. Priority strategy analysis shows that the approach to customers is the biggest contribution in the strategy to prevent Non-Performing Financing of murabahah

Abstract

This research is a quantitative research, which aims to know the marketing strategy that can be done by shariah pawnshops of ARRUM BPKB financing products. The population in this study is all employees associated with ARRUM products. While the sample used in this study is saturated samples. The type of data that the author uses is the primary and secondary data types. The method used to formulate strategies using SWOT Analysis. The results of this study indicate that the product ARRUM BPKB located in Quadrant I is in Progressive conditions. Under these conditions, the S-O strategy is the right one to apply. And based on the calculation of QSPM, the priority of strategy with the highest Value of Attractiveness (TAS) is the socialization of cheaper ujroh cost to UMKM in a more massive way.

Abstract

One form of economic activity carried out by humans is trade. It can be said that trade is the oldest activity carried out by humans in fulfilling their daily needs. Mecca at that time was a major international trade and shopping center, and Islam was born in the militia of Mecca trade. Once the Islamic attachment to trading activities, many narratives of the verses of the Qur'an seemed to be directed at the merchants. Qur'an was first addressed to the merchants reflected in the language and ideas". More specifically, disclosure of trade in the Qur'an can be found through lafadz bai 'and tijarah. In the following article a thematic review of lafadz bai 'and tijarah and its derivatives is presented, which is analyzed using the Makkiyyah and Madaniyyah studied tematic. In the Qur'an the verses which reveal lafaz bai 'in various variations are contained in eleven verses scattered in different letters, while the Disclosure of lafadz tijarah in the verses of the Qur'an is mentioned eight times in seven letters. The form of disclosure of the Lafadz is entirely the same in the form of mashdar (تجارة).

Abstract

With the development and welfare reasons, the government diverts thousands hectare civil‟s gardens for the sake of oil palm plantation development. Beside the unfair handing the Ulayat land mechanism, the switch function of productive agricultural lands led to growing economic inequality which lead to the conflict. Therefore, the thought of Abu Ubaid in the book of al-Amwal regarding the law and politics in the land or plantations as a benchmark in achieving solution upon the issue. The research question in this study namely: How does the view of Abu „Ubaid about the government's role in the distribution and management of plantations? and what kind of policies is needed, so it can effectively decrease the gaps in the current farm/land owner?. The methodology in this present study used descriptive research which is library-based research. The data were analyzed qualitatively. Data used in this study is qualitative data obtained from an authentic source comprising a source of primary data and secondary data sources. The results show that that the law and the way of Abu „Ubaid provide a solution to the inequality of land ownership is very different from the government policy in Indonesia. One of the policy which is to clarify over the abandoned land by tenants is for three years and then the government takes the right for the land. The government has the authority to give the land to a new tenant who wants to turn the land becomes more productive.

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Permasalahan yang akan diangkat dalam penelitian ini adalahbagaimana peran seorang agen asuransi dalam meningkatkan pemahaman terhadapa asuransi takaful. Dalam penelitian ini juga berusaha menjawab bagaimana sikap perilaku nasabah terhadap eksistensi asuaransi syariah. Kedua bagaimana kerja keras seorang agen asuransi syariah dalam meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat. Model penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan. Hasil daripada penelitian ini, agen memiliki peran dalam mengakses informasi, menjaga image asuransi syariah, memberikan solusi dan konsultasi terhadapnasabah yang prospektif. Dengan begitu, pemahamanan masyarakat akan manfaat takaful akan menjadi lebih baik.Keywords: Agent Asuransi Syariah, Peran Agen asuransi syariah,pemahaman masyarakatABSTRACT. The subject matter to be discussed in this paper is how the role of an Islamic insurance agent in increasing public understanding of Takaful. In addition this paper will try to answer: how people's attitude toward the existence of Islamic insurance; and how should the efforts of an Islamic insurance agent to increase insurance awareness for the community. This paper focuses the discussion of an agent as an intermediary between the Takaful Islamic insurance company with the community. The method used in this paper is to study literature (Library Research), namely by rethinking simultaneously collects some writing and previous research results related to the presence and role of thefunction of an agent. This results in writing that there are a few roles Takaful agent, such as access to information, guard the good image of Islamic insurance companies, power marketers Islamic insurance products, providing solutions and services to prospective customers as well as provide insight to the public right of Takaful. Abstract

This study aims to see the factors that cause murabahah financing to be non-performing financing. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method using literature study data. The results of the study are the factors that cause Non-performing financing murabahah financing in the Risalatuna Jasa Cooperative in Padang City due to the Risalatuna Jasa Cooperative (internal factors) and the customers themselves (external factors). The Islamic law review of the settlement of Non-performing financing murabahah financing at the Risalatuna LKMS Jasa Cooperative is following the principles of Islamic law, because in handling Non-performing financing, the Cooperative Jasa Risalatuna LKMS takes precedence first, providing facilities and debt relief.

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to find out and illustrate the concept of branding that comply with Islamic law. The research method used in this study is a literature review, with books and journals as the main data sources, while using the view point of the Qur'an, Hadith, Ijtihad of the scholars, and other scientific works that related to the research. This study introduces the concept of branding that comply with sharia law that covers the role of branding in business, i.e.: as a differentiator, as an advertisement and appeal, as an image-building tool and as a market controller. Branding ethics in Islam including positive image, Islamic products, fair prices, Islamic brands and advertisement variables that have been adapted to comply the rules of Islamic muamalah, and various examples of branding practices in Indonesia that is sharia compliant, for example: Rabbani brand, Wardah cosmetics, and Sofyan hotel. In this case, branding practice that comply with Islamic ethics is not just an idealistic theory, but it can realistically be applied on practice and has been proven to yield positive brand image and loyality from their consumers.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi minat tersebut, dan faktor apa saja yang paling dominan berpengaruh terhadap minat mahasiswa.Pengolahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisischi-square yang diolah melalui software SPSS 16.0 for windows.Berdasarkan penelitian tersebut diketahui bahwa nilai X2 hitung lebih lebih besar dari X2 tabel, sehingga terdapat hubungan antara indikator motivasi, keinginan mempelajari Ekonomi Islam, citacita menjadi ahli Ekonomi Islam, beasiswa dan citra kampus terhadap kepuasan minat mahasiswa. Setelah melakukan analisis terhadap data yang diperoleh dari responden, maka peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa faktor dominan yang memiliki hubungan denganminat mahasiswa adalah faktor promosi motivasi dan keinginan mempelajari Ekonomi Islam dengan nilai X2 hitung masing-masing 25,998 dan 25,287. Dari penelitian ini, dapat diperoleh informasi bahwa STEI SEBI sebagai lembaga pendidikan yang konsen dalam bidang Ekonomi Islam hendaknyadapat meningkatkan kualitas dalam kegiatan belajar dan mengajar, karena minat mahasiswa mempelajari ilmu Ekonomi Islam menjadi daya tarik utama disamping indikator lain seperti kesempatan mendapat beasiswa maupun citra kampus yang baik.Kata Kunci: Minat mahasiswa, perguruan tinggi Ekonomi IslamABSTRACThe purposes of this study determine the factor that influence these interest and what factors are the most dominance influence on student interest. Data processing in this study will use chi square analysis method that be processed through software SPSS 16.0 for windows. Based on in these studies was discovered that value of X2 count bigger than X2 Table, so there will correlation between indicator of motivation, desire to learn Islamic Economy, dream of being an expert in Islamic Economic, scholarship and college image toward the satisfaction of student interest. After conducting an analysis data from respondents, so researcher would concluded that the dominance factor which have related with student interest were the factor of motivation promotion and desire to learn Islamic Economic with value X2 count each 25.998 and 25.287. From this study, it can be obtained information that STEI SEBI as an educational institution concerned about Islamic Economic should improve quality in learning activities and teaching, because the interest of student to learn Islamic Economic science become main attraction beside other indicators such as opportunity to get a scholarship as well as better in campus image.Keyword : Student Interest, Islamic Economic College
