Abstract

Education is one very important aspect in educational life as a human effort to develop their personality in accordance with the values ​​that exist in society and culture in order to improve one's quality and be able to develop one's potential. As a reference for prospective teachers to conduct direct research in real situations, both in teaching activities and other teacher duties in accordance with national/institutional education standards, and to form children who are suputra (good, wise), sadha (religious/faithful), and gunawan (intelligent, skilled) in accordance with the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha. This research aims to: (1) Find out how the teaching of Hindu Religion and Moral Character is taught at Taman Tirta Elementary School, (2) Find out what the obstacles are in implementing the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in learning Hindu Religion and Character Education at Taman Tirta Elementary School, (3) Find out how Efforts made to face obstacles in implementing the Tri Kaya Parisudha teachings in teaching Hindu Religion and Character education at Taman Tirta Elementary School. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, documentation and literature study. The data that has been collected is analyzed using the Qualitative Descriptive analysis method with reduction steps, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that: (1) Learning the Tri Kaya Parisudha and Good Character at Taman Tirta Elementary School is divided into: Planning, Implementation and Evaluation (2) Obstacles to Learning the Tri Kaya Parisudha and Good Character at Taman Tirta Elementary School, namely: Environmental constraints, Constraints from parties teachers and obstacles on the part of students, (3) Efforts in dealing with obstacles in learning Tri Kaya Parisudha and Characteristics at Taman Tirta Elementary School are divided into three, namely: Providing relief in learning, preventing levels of frustration from arising, instilling the teachings of Tri Kaya Parisudha.

Abstract

Multicultural education responds to ethnic, social, and cultural conflicts with a focus on values ​​of mutual respect, sincerity, and tolerance. In Indonesia, which is rich in diversity, challenges such as corruption and violence threaten social harmony. Religious education often exacerbates conflicts with its exclusive approach, when it should strengthen universal morality and inclusive understanding. Multicultural education in educational institutions should instill values ​​of peace and pluralism so that students understand and appreciate religious diversity. This research uses qualitative methods with literature studies to understand the values ​​of multicultural education in Hinduism, especially in the Niti Sataka scripture. Sociological and anthropological approaches are used to analyze individual interactions in the context of religion and culture, as well as social practices in the holistic context of human culture. Multicultural education integrates diverse cultures and values ​​to create equality in education and appreciate ethnic diversity. The goal of multicultural education in Indonesia is to develop awareness of cultural diversity and strengthen positive attitudes towards diversity, with Hindu religious education emphasizing caring values ​​aligned with multicultural education. The Niti Sataka scripture highlights awareness of ignorance, wisdom, and other values ​​that support peaceful living. Multicultural education aims to acknowledge student diversity, promote positive attitudes towards differences, and assist in the development of social skills and cross-cultural understanding.

Abstract

The use of technology in education has become an increasingly relevant topic and has gained attention in recent years. With the advancement of information and communication technology, education has undergone significant transformation, enabling the adoption of various technological tools and applications to enhance the effectiveness of learning. This study aims to investigate the impact of technology use in education, the challenges faced, and efforts to overcome these challenges. Through literature review, this research also aims to analyze various technology-supported learning models and how their implementation can enrich students' learning experiences. This study uses a literature review method to gather information from various literature sources related to the use of technology in education. Data are analyzed qualitatively to identify relevant trends, challenges, and solutions in the context of technology use in learning. The use of technology in education has a significant impact on improving the effectiveness of learning and enriching students' learning experiences. However, there are challenges that need to be addressed, such as technology accessibility gaps, the quality of learning content, teacher technology skills, and institutional support. By overcoming these challenges and effectively harnessing the potential of technology, education can continue to evolve towards an inclusive, innovative, and technology-oriented learning environment, thus helping to create a generation better prepared to face future challenges and strengthen the learning foundation for a more advanced society.

Abstract

The development of technology and information is also felt with the existence of smartphones which can make it easier to disseminate information. With just one hand, you can now get information quickly, regardless of distance and time. Social media has actually been around for a long time, but now it has become more advanced and there are many social media options that can be chosen and accessed. However, social media also has a negative impact due to misuse of social media. We can suppress the negative influence of social media abuse by upholding our belief in God Almighty. To prevent the negative influence of social media abuse among society, it is necessary to strengthen and increase Sradha and Bhakti so that they are in accordance with the teachings of Hinduism. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. This social media can be used as a means of modern communication technology, Sradha and Bhakti in Hindu religious teachings can also be applied in preventing misuse of social media and can also be applied in the modern era like today. One religious teaching that can be used to prevent misuse of social media is by applying the teachings of Catur Marga Yoga, which is the path to God. One of the teachings of Bhakti Marga is the path to God with our devotion to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Apart from that, it can also be applied by applying the teachings of Nawa Widha Bhakti or nine ways to show devotion to Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa. Thus, through the application of Sradha and Bhakti it can be used as a way to prevent misuse of social media.

Abstract

The relationship between social media marketing, destination image and interest in visiting is very important in the tourism industry. Social media marketing can help create and maintain a positive destination image, which in turn will influence potential tourists' interest in visiting. This research aims to investigate the influence of two key factors, namely social media marketing and Destination Image, on visitors' interest in visiting the Bogor Botanical Gardens. This research uses a quantitative approach to measure the impact of these variables on visitor interest. This research uses quantitative methods with survey techniques. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to visitors to the Bogor Botanical Gardens. The research sample was chosen randomly, and the total number of respondents involved was around 300 people. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test using SmartPLS. The results of data analysis show that social media marketing has a significant positive influence on interest in visiting the Bogor Botanical Gardens. Apart from that, Destination Image also has a significant positive influence on interest in visiting. Furthermore, this research shows that there is an interaction between social media marketing and destination image, meaning that the combination of the two can increase visitor interest more than either factor could produce individually. The results of this research show that social media marketing and destination image have a significant role in influencing visitors' interest in visiting the Bogor Botanical Gardens. In conclusion, the management of the Bogor Botanical Gardens and related parties can utilize social media marketing to promote this destination more effectively. Apart from that, efforts to improve the destination's image can also support increased visitor interest.

Abstract

This research aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of the role of accommodation facilities in influencing tourists' interest in visiting Widodaren Beach. The results of the findings will certainly be used as additional in-depth insight into how to improve the tourism industry at Widodaren Beach. This research is quantitative research with variable X being accommodation. Meanwhile, variable Y is interest in visiting. The population in this data analysis is all visitors who visit this tourist attraction. The sampling technique uses accidental sampling or convenience sampling, which means that all visitors or anyone the researcher meets during observation are used as samples until the minimum criteria are met, namely 30 respondents. The results of this research are that there is a positive and significant relationship between accommodation quality and interest in visiting Widodaren Beach. If the quality of accommodation improves, it will also increase visitor interest in Widodaren Beach, Yogyakarta. Thus, efforts are needed from the management and local government to improve accommodation facilities at this tourist attraction.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Video Based Practice approach in increasing Learning Engagement and the ability to install Solar Power Plant (PLTS) practices in technical training participants. The background of this research is the need for learning methods that are more interactive and focused on field practices in the context of PLTS construction and installation. The methodology of this study involves the application of a Video Based Practice approach where trainees are introduced to the material through a series of demonstrative videos illustrating the practical steps of installing PLTS. In addition, the study used question-based evaluation instruments before and after the intervention to measure the improvement of participants' understanding and practice skills. The results showed a significant increase in participants' Learning Engagement during the training. Participants showed consistent improvement in understanding concepts, practice steps, as well as the application of skills in solar PV installation after the intervention of the Video Based Practice approach. In addition, positive responses from participants to this learning method were also recorded through the feedback provided. The conclusion of this study shows that the Video Based Practice approach is effective in increasing Learning Engagement and the ability to install solar power plants in technical training participants. The integration of these methods in the context of technical learning can be a strong foundation to enrich participants' learning experiences and facilitate a better understanding of the field practice process. This research makes an important contribution in broadening horizons on the use of technology in the context of technical training as well as illustrating the positive potential of the Video Based Practice approach in improving the effectiveness of field practice learning.

Abstract

Student academic achievement is not only determined by learning factors in the classroom. Gender, family socioeconomic, and cultural capital of students affected academic achievement. Studies on these variables still need to be carried out in Islamic College (PTKI) context. Therefore, this study aims to verify gender relations, family economic background, parents' education level, students' cultural capital, and academic achievement. This research is field research with quantitative-comparative and correlational approaches. The study participants amounted to 174 students of Antasari State Islamic University. Participants were assigned convenience and snowballing sampling. Data was collected using questionnaires disseminated online through Whats App messages. Data analysis of research results using the Mann-Whitney you Test and Spearman Rank-Order Correlation with the help of SPSS version 27. Research findings prove that female and male academic achievement differences are statistically significant (Asymp. Sig. <0.05). This study indicates that gender significantly affects student academic achievement at PTKI. In addition, correlational statistical analysis proved that pocket money, Single Tuition Fee (UKT), and the education level of fathers and mothers were not related to student academic achievement (Asymp. Sig.>0.05). In contrast, students' cultural capital has a significant relationship with students' academic achievement (Asymp. Sig.<0.05). However, the correlation between the two variables is either very weak or negligible (ρ = 0.210). The results of this study indicate that high cultural capital will significantly increase student academic achievement. This research makes a conceptual contribution to the influence of gender and the relationship between socioeconomic background, family and cultural capital on student academic achievement in the field of Islamic Studies in the context of PTKI.

Abstract

The National Education System Law (UU Sisdiknas) serves as a crucial foundation for directing education in Indonesia, emphasizing the development of capabilities, character formation, and national civilization. In the context of the learning organization, high-quality and professional educational administration, especially school administrative staff, plays a vital role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the educational process. The focus of this research is on evaluating the quality of educational administration and developing strategies to enhance the quality of administrative services in schools. The research methodology employed is qualitative descriptive with a literature review approach. The findings indicate that educational management and administrative staff play a crucial role in managing and improving the quality of education. Management functions, such as planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising, adopt the PDCA cycle model to effectively achieve educational goals. Educational administrative staff, in functions such as planning, organizing, moving, supervising, employee arrangement, directing, coordinating, reporting, and funding, are instrumental in organizing administrative activities in educational institutions. The educational management process, encompassing planning, organizing, directing, coordinating, financing, monitoring, and evaluation, forms a cycle to ensure the achievement of goals and the improvement of educational quality. Development strategies for administrative staff, through organizational, task, and personnel analysis, as well as the implementation of training and development, play a key role in enhancing the quality and skills of educational administrative staff. Training and development, plays a key role in improving the quality and skills of education administration personnel. The development of educational administrative personnel brings significant benefits, including better decision-making abilities, improved skills, increased competitiveness in the work environment, and strengthening work culture. Quality management of administrative services in the educational environment involves the stages of identification, determination of inputs and outputs, determination of criteria and methods, identification of employees, development of work culture, implementation of training, and evaluation. Educational institutions can ensure that administrative staff have the necessary competencies to manage administrative tasks efficiently.
