Abstract

Medan City is the city with the number 4 highest population rank in Indonesia. This makes developments in terms of tourism, shopping centers, hotels, so fast. In the field of hospitality there are several 5, 3 or below star hotels with a variety of advantages and facilities offered to make it, both communities around Medan, or those outside the city area. Medan is confused to choose which hotel is the best and is good for staying and relaxing. Criteria for prices, facilities and types of rooms offered by several hotels are a guideline for the community to choose which hotel is the best. But with dozens of hotels available, this makes it difficult for consumers to determine a decision on the best hotel in the city of Medan. Based on the considerations above, researchers are interested in conducting research in determining the Best Hotels in the city of Medan by using the Multi-Objective Optimization method on The Base Of Ratio Analysis (MOORA) so as to solve the problems faced by the people of Medan or outside the city of Medan

Abstract

Competition in the field of bank services is one of them in the form of cash deposits. The need for cash deposit ATM machines is currently very influential to meet the increasing needs of the community, so the Bank needs to add cash deposit ATM machines in several densely populated locations that require financial transactions every day. In the addition of an ATM cash deposit machine location placement must be very careful because it involves public funds so it needs a high level of security. Decision support system is an appropriate concept to determine the location of cash deposit ATMs. Decision support system by applying the COPRAS (Complex Propotional Assessment) method can provide value to the location for the placement of cash deposit ATM machines where this method is a multi-criteria method in the decision making process where this method is used to select based on criteria from existing alternatives so that decision making can be done precisely and in accordance with what is needed. This system can provide the best location for ATMs, making it easier for officers to choose locations

Abstract

The current increase in internet development raises new problems in terms of path optimization on the internet. This makes network path optimization a major problem in choosing the shortest route. The purpose of this research is to understand and compare the process of finding the shortest route using two algorithms, namely Greedy and A*. The A* algorithm has an advantage in overcoming network workloads compared to the Greedy algorithm. In implementation, both algorithms have the same results in determining the delivery path. However, the A* algorithm is more effective for use on large and complex networks because it has more certain and accurate calculations. From the test results, it was found that the A* algorithm has better performance than the greedy algorithm in the test. Where the final cost value of the greedy algorithm is 49, while for the A* algorithm is 48

Abstract

The development of information technology that is developing rapidly, is very helpful in all aspects and even able to process, adopt and think like a human being called an expert system. The expert system that will be built is to diagnose neurological diseases. The method used in this study is forward chaining which is considered simple but easy to understand. With the existence of an expert system, it is hoped that ordinary people can solve complicated problems in this case neurological diseases that can actually only be solved with the help of experts. For experts themselves, the existence of an expert system will also help their activities as a very experienced assistant. From the results of the tests that have been carried out, it shows that the expert system is suitable for use to diagnosea neurological disease

Abstract

UMKM are individual businesses that can be managed by anyone, such as housewives, millennials, and parents. During the Covid-19 pandemic, many people were affected by termination of work contracts or layoffs, so many of them opened small businesses. Which turned out to be, the economy in Indonesia during the Pandemic was helped because of these UMKM actors. Warung Dominasi is an UMKM engaged in the chicken-based food industry. Orders can be made by pre-order and now they have opened a store in the canteen of the Pamulang University. It's just that, these UMKM are still unable to carry out production planning so that sometimes the profits are not in accordance with the capital that has been spent. Production planning must of course be carried out by business actors, such as designing a product strategy, or thinking about the type of goods to be produced. Linear programming is a method for obtaining optimal results from a mathematical model composed of linear relationships. The Simplex method is an iterative mathematical strategy (repetition), the simplex technique can be used to deal with problems where there are two or more decision variables. The results obtained by applying this method help UMKM in planning production according to the decisions and available resources.

Abstract

The number of people in a room is an important thing to pay attention to, especially in the current pandemic era. The number of people must not exceed the maximum capacity of the room. Therefore, this study aims to create a system for counting the number of people in a room equipped with a warning alarm if the number of people exceeds the maximum capacity that can be determined through the Blynk application by the room manager. In addition, the room manager can unite the number of people and there is also a metal detection sensor so that people who enter the room do not bring metal items. Ultrasonic sensors are used to detect people entering and leaving the room. Nodemcu ESP8266 as a microcontroller and Blynk application can work to unite a number of people. This tool is an application of IoT (Internet of Things) using a Wi-Fi signal and is made to make it easier for managers of a shop or tourist spot to count and monitor the number of visitors who come. The monitoring system can be made using the NodeMCU ESP8266 microcontroller which has a WiFi module. This system uses an ultrasonic sensor and a working metal sensor running at a distance of 7 cm. The monitoring system with an internet of things (IOT)-based android smartphone uses the blynk application on a smartphone, which is directly connected to the monitoring system for the number of people and the metal detection system functions by proving the number of people and an alarm if there is metal

Abstract

Bank Rakyat Indonesia is a leading bank that can reach customers in all corners of the country, designed to expand banking services that change all customers, especially customers who have limited access not having to go to branches and work units to make transactions, but can be done through BRILink agents. BRILink is a BRI service in which BRI works together with BRI customers as an agent who can offer online banking transactions in real time to the public using the BRI EDC Mini ATM with a profit sharing concept. BRILink is the executor of the clever behavior program by Bank Rakyat Indonesia based on OJK regulations, namely an officeless financial transaction service program through bank agent intermediaries. The purpose of this study is to apply the fuzzy service quality (servqual) method in improving service, so as to provide service satisfaction to BRILink agent customers Enoni Meruyung with research stages consisting of needs analysis, data collection, data processing and analysis, implementation of fuzzy service quality testing (servqual), and analysis of the results. After processing the data on each dimension, there is an Emphaty (Caring) dimension in the first place with a gap value of 0.633, the Assurance dimension in the second order with a gap value of 0.510, the Responsiveness dimension in third place with a gap value of - 0.343, the Tangible dimension (Physical Evidence) is in fourth place with a gap value of -0.606 and the Reability dimension is in fifth position with a gap value of -0.684.

Abstract

The information system used at CV Annur is in the form of a website https://annur-rent-car.webs.com, the function found on the website which is provided in providing information related to user needs in the form of tracking car rental rates, service points, and ask join. To provide information services, it is necessary to evaluate website performance so that service providers can maintain performance and improve performance where deficiencies are found in performance from the user's point of view. To determine the level of website performance, this research was carried out by applying the servqual method and Importance Performance Analysis. Assessment of user satisfaction is based on five dimensions, namely Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Empathy, and Tangibles later each performance attribute will be classified into quadrant I which is a top priority for improving service, quadrant II attributes need to be maintained because they have provided satisfactory service, quadrant III attributes have priority low and quadrant IV attributes are considered less important but the performance is good, the methodology used is descriptive qualitative, and the servqual method is based on 5 dimensions, namely reliability, responsiveness, assurance, tangible, empathy (empathy), testing with validity and reliability tests as well as the value of the gap obtained which must be repaired can be empathy, namely (1.82), responsiveness with a value of gap (1.82) and what must be maintained in reliability with a value of gap (1 .77), tangible with a gap value (1.77), assurance with a gap value (1.79)

Abstract

Land is one of the important aspects in cultivating coffee plants. This is because the land has a stake in increasing the quality and yield of crops. To select a coffee field, it is necessary to be based on accurate data and information about the land. So, conventional decision-making will take time because it needs to be discussed and compared between data from one field to another. So, the purpose of the research conducted is to develop a Decision Support System (DSS) using the Complex Proportional Assessment (COPRAS) method to determine the right coffee area and according to needs. The COPRAS approach can carry out different alternative analyzes and is able to make alternative estimates that are adjusted to the level of utility by providing ratings presented in intervals. Based on a case study conducted using the COPRAS method, the highest utility value was land in Banjar Negeri Village (A2) with a value of 100, followed by Tanjung Agung Village (A3) with a value of 93.64, Tanjung Jati Village (A1) with a value 92.90 and Kampung Baru Village with a value of 83.53. The results of the SPK developed with the results of manual calculations get the same value. Besides that, the test through Black-Box Testing shows the results that all system functions built can run well

Abstract

The data mining process by applying the K-Means algorithm is carried out to group data into one or more groups, where data that has representative similarities is grouped into one group and data that has differences is included in another group. Grouping student data is done to facilitate schools in facilitating students based on differences in their ability to learn and participate in learning which consists of groups or classes of superior students, medium and low groups. The data application used for the calculation process is student data based on a centralized assessment in presenting reports on student learning outcomes using the results of report cards, namely the rapid miner. This assessment forms the basis of the attributes used in the calculation process to determine superior, medium and low class students. The purpose of this study is to manage centralized assessment data in presenting reports on student learning outcomes and grouping students in superior classes by implementing the K-means algorithm and conducting tests using the rapidminer application. So that student data can be managed and grouped effectively and efficiently
