Abstract

Abstract This study aims to identify and recognize in detail the poems by Chairil Anwar and Amir Hamzah and then analyzed with a structural approach. This study uses a qualitative research method library research type. Data analysis was carried out by analyzing the content contained in the structure of the poem with existing theories. The results showed that the two poems presented contained various typography with good use of diction. The conclusion in each poem gives a variety of messages, where Chairil Anwar's poem mandates never to second-guess someone who loves sincerely and selflessly. Because when sincerity is tarnished then someone will be hurt. And the mandate in Amir Hamzah's poetry is that if there is someone who loves us with all their heart, then we should never try to find another love because of a new love, because the new one is not necessarily good.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has made learning that was initially carried out offline become online. Although several educational institutions have started to carry out offline learning now learning Indonesian for Foreign Speakers (BIPA) is still being carried out online. In online learning, BIPA teachers need applications that can be used both synchronously and asynchronously. Discord is an application that can be used in BIPA learning both synchronously and asynchronously. This study aims to describe the Discord application as an alternative in online BIPA learning and describe the use of Discord in online BIPA learning. The method used is library research. The data in this study are in the form of national, international journal articles, books, and references that are relevant to the use of Discord as an online BIPA learning medium. The results of this study indicate that Discord has features that support online BIPA learning. Therefore, Discord can be used as a medium in online BIPA learning. These features include Roles, Text Channels, Voice Channels, Video Conferences, and Bots. This study also shows the use of Discord in online BIPA learning with four basic language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the language disorders of Shahida's character in the film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". The background of this research focuses on the theory of language disorders in psycholinguistics. The research was conducted by listening to the film and then noting important things related to language disorders that will be carried out regarding the speech impaired in the film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan". It can be seen that in the film "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" tells the story of a little boy named Shahida who can't speak, so at that time he couldn't scream for help and could only wait for someone else to help him. As a result of the incident, the elders and community leaders there also consulted and advised Shahida's parents to take her to a holy place in India. The goal is to treat Shahida so she can talk like other children. However, the journey did not go smoothly. There are many obstacles to be overcome. Thus, the character Shahida has difficulty communicating with other people.

Abstract

Abstract The era of globalization causes humans to be unable to be separated from technology, especially in the realm of education. To increase the attractiveness of Indonesian language learning media by utilizing short video content on TikTok social media. The aims of this study are (1) to explain the escalating form of TikTok's social media appeal for learning Indonesian language and literature, and (2) to describe the linguistic form of procedure text based on short video content on TikTok social media as a learning medium. The data collection technique used tapping techniques and advanced techniques, including free-to-talk. Researchers looked at five short video content from five different creators. This research utilizes the type of data analysis in the form of content analysis. The linguistic rules contained in the five contents are: (1) temporal conjunctions, (2) imperative sentences, (3) material verbs, (4) human participant sentences, (5) sequence marker numbers and (6) degree/degree descriptions. quantity. In addition, the number of account followers, the number of likes, comments, and how many videos are shared is one of the implied forms of the success of learning media by utilizing social media TikTok. Abstract

This study aims to (1) describe the form and function of figurative language in Perahu Kertas poetry anthology by Sapardi Djoko Damono, (2) describe the use of figurative language in Perahu Kertas poetry anthology by Sapardi Djoko Damono as literary enrichment material in class X senior high school. The analytical method used is descriptive semiotic analysis through heuristic and hermeneutic readings to reveal stylistic aspects and comparative analysis to describe the use of figurative language in the Perahu Kertas poetry anthology by Sapardi Djoko Damono as enrichment. The results of the study based on data analysis showed (1) the figurative language found was dominated by figure of speech and idioms with a limited number. The function of the figure of speech that was found, namely as the creation of aesthetic effects and comparison of meanings (2) the figurative language in the Perahu Kertas poetry anthology by Sapardi Djoko Damono as literary enrichment material in class X SMA is divided into two activities, namely exploratory and process skills.
