Abstract

This research is aims to see the effect of Education Try out Model on competency test by applying the Peplau concept and coaching methods toward the nursing students of Diploma III on the opportunities of passing a competency test in Banda Aceh in 2016. This research is a Quasiexperiment study. The research was designed using cross sectional study by collectingthe data (survey) on students who have followed the Education Try out Model on competency test. This research was conducted in Banda Aceh on 1 to 10 September 2016. The sample consists of 50 students who are determined by consecutive sampling. Bivariate analysis t-test used to analyze the data. The results of study shows that there was a mean difference between the first measurement with the second measurement that was -0.780 where the standard deviation was 0.418 (p value 0.00).

Abstract

The study aims to compare the effectiveness of the use of intravenous fluids heating element and heating lamps for post operative shivering. Methods of pre-experimental research studies (static group camparison/posttest design). The sample consisted of 20 people divided into the two group: group of intravenous fluids heating element and heating lamps group. The result of the treatment group heating element intravenous fluids, the time required to stop shivering average of 32,5 minutes, and the treatment group heating lamp until the shivering stops takes an average 50,4 minutes. In the Mann Whitney test, the value of p=0.000. It means that there are differences in effectiveness between the use of intravenous fluids heating elements and heating lamp in which the use of intravenous fluids heating elements are more effective than the use of heating lamps to overcome shivering in patient post operative.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of back massage on expiratory peak current rate in asthmatic children in MangusadaBadung General Hospital. This research is a quantitative research with pre experimental group type pre-test posttest. The number of samples are 24 asthmatic children who visited MangusadaBadung General Hospital selected by incidental sampling technique. The data collection tool is an observation sheet and peak flow meter to measure the peak expiratory flow rate. Data analysis technique used in this research is univariate analysis for respondent characteristic and bivariate analysis to analyze pretest and posttest PEFR value. The result of mean analysis of PEFR value before treatment was 102,92 L / m, mean of APE value after treatment was 113,33 L / m, so the mean value difference was 10,41 L / m. The bivariate test uses paired-samples t test because the data distribution is normal. Result of research with significant value (p) = 0.000 which means p 0,05 with errorrate 5% then Ho (zero) is rejected which means back massage effect on peak expiratoryflow rate in children with asthma.

Abstract

Behavior in health seeking families for family members who experience mental illness. This study aims to determine the behavior of the family in seeking medical help for family members who are sick in soul polyclinic Sanglah Denpasar. This research is descriptive research, the approach to the subject with a cross sectional study. Using purposive sampling techniques sampling with a sample of 30 respondents. The results of 30 people found the majority of respondents 19 (63,3%) families looking for fist aid for family members who are mentally handicapped go to atraditional healer/shaman, the bulk of 23 people (76,7%) continued to seek help families with to sick help before the healer/shaman, shackle, and confining, and most of 22 people (73.3%) care for family members who experience mental illness at home as directed healer/shaman, shackle, and imprison her home.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlated between family task execution and the level of elderly depression. This study is nonexperimental with cross sectional approach, with 108 elders that analyzed with statistic spearman rho test. The result of this test shows there are correlated between family and the level of elderly depression with p= 0,000.

Abstract

This Study was aimed at finding out the effect of technique assessment of portofolio for Physiological Anatomy learning achievement. This study was a quasi-experimental research involving 80 students of the Department of Health Care of Politeknik Kesehatan Denpasar as the sample. The data were analyzed using analysis of covariance. The result showed that the Physiological Anatomy learning achievement of the group of students who were assessed by portfolio assessment was higher than that of those assessed by performance assessment

Abstract

This research aim to know the relationship between stress of work with performance of nurse in RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar year 2011. This research used descriptive research with crossectional approach use the instrument of stress of work scale and BARS. The result of stress of work showed as 19,6% respondents have high stress of work, 73,2% respondent have middle stress of work, and 7,2% have lower stress of work. The result of performance showed as 28,6% respondent have good performance, 57,1% respondent have middle performance, and 14,3% respondent have lower performance. Statistic rank spearman correlation test has very significant result between stress of work with performance and the correlation is negative

Abstract

This research aim to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and aggressiveness in adolescents. This design use the analysis research design with cross-sectional approach using cluster sampling and proportional random sampling. The population number wash 594 and the sample is 185 respondents. The results of data analysis with rank spearman non parametrict test found the r value -0,776 and p value of 0,000, this suggest, the research hypothesis wich states “there is a significant association between emotional intelligence and aggressiveness of adolescences.

Abstract

The research aims to prove that the administration of peer education methods influence the level of knowledge of adolescents about HIV/AIDS. The study was conducted using pre-experimental research design, namely a one-group pre-post test design. Samples 40 individuals obtained using a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted at SMK Pariwisata Kertayasa Ubud for two weeks with the increased knowledge of knowledge is less (42.5%) and sufficient knowledge (57.5%) increased significantly to be good (100%). Based on the test of paired t test (p 0.05), obtained a significance value of p = 0.000 α 0.05. The results of this study indicate that there is a significant effect of method of peer education on adolescent knowledge levels about HIV/AIDS

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the relationship of relaxation techniques with the adaptation of breathing in pain an active phase inpartu. This research is observational analytic approach used method is cross sectional technique. The model approruch used is the subjec of of cross sectional. Sampling technique used in this research was consekutif sampling by using sample counted  22 responden. Analysis of the data by Spearmen Rank Correlation test . The results of this study indicate that there is a significant relationship between the relationships breathing relaxation techniques with the adaptation of labor pain in women in the active phase inpartu, p=0,000 and r = 0,913
