Abstract

Macroeconomic variables are still interesting to study because some studies still find inconsistent results and dependence on the dynamics of the capital market and international financial markets, especially when there is turmoil in the domestic and international stock markets. This study aims to analyze the causality and cointegration relationship of macroeconomic variables, namely: interest rates (BI Rate), inflation and exchange rates to changes in the composite stock price index (CSPI) using the Vector Error Correction Model (VECM) method with the analysis tool Eviews 10 using secondary time series data based on the period 1990 to 2021. Exogenous variables tested include the BI rate, Inflation and the Logarithm of the Natural Exchange Rate (LnKurs) while the endogenous variables are the Natural Logarithm of the Composite Stock Price Index (LnIHSG). The results showed that the cointegration test results with Johansen's Cointegration Test found that the movement of the LnIHSG, BI Rate, Inflation and Exchange Rates had a relationship of stability/balance and the similarity of movements in the long term. In the causality test with Granger's Causality Test, there is a unidirectional causality relationship between the BI Rate variable and the LnIHSG variable, while there is a two-way causality between the Foreign Exchange variable and the BI Rate variable and vice versa, as well as a two-way causality relationship between the Exchange Rate variable and the Inflation variable, and vice versa.

Abstract

Contextual learning strategies are applied using technology-based tools to add insight to students by teaching the Ecosystem material described. The purpose of this research is to increase the ambition and achievement of students by implementing contextual learning strategies using technology media tools in the form of learning videos on ecosystem materials in contextual learning. This research was conducted at Madrasah Aliyah, Raudhatul Akmal Batang Kuis Education Foundation by applying contextual learning strategies assisted by learning media in the form of learning videos about ecosystems. Contextual Learning Strategy Teaching Learning helps students understand their level of understanding of ecosystems well. The results of this study indicate that only 5 people in the highest level of understanding category and 8 people in the middle category are included in the lowest level category. By using the teaching-learning contextual learning strategy, it can be seen that there is an increase in the level of understanding in the learning process as many as 34 students.

But patriarchal ideological discourse is still seen in several narratives and readings of the production and consumption of public discourse in news portals in particular and discourse in public in general.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fractional arithmetic operations in fourth grade students of MI Yasin, Tebing Tinggi city and to see how a contextual approach can improve mathematics learning in fractional arithmetic operations material. The contextual approach accommodates learning that is in accordance with the real life and daily lives of students. Observations in everyday life are very important in understanding mathematical concepts. This research was investigated using classroom action research to improve learning outcomes for grade IV MI Yasin, Tebing Tinggi city. The subjects of this classroom action research are fourth grade students in the even semester of the 2021/2022 academic year at MI Yasin, Tebing Tinggi city. The research was carried out in two cycles. Data were collected by means of a written test in the form of an essay consisting of 10 questions, interviews, and observations.
