Abstract

This research is aimed at studying the influence of medium and large industries on poverty levels in Gresik on 2002-2016. The variables used in this study is medium and large industries, a labour of medium and large industries, gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of industrial sector and poverty rate. The method used in this study used multiple linear regression and used time-series data. The results of this study simultaneously are the variables of the amount of medium and large industries, the labour medium and large industries, and the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of the industrial sector to poverty rate is significant. While medium and large industries to poverty rate have negative and insignificant effect with a coefficient value of -0,208905. The labour of medium and large industries to poverty rate has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient value of 0,130822,  the gross regional domestic product (GRDP) of industrial to poverty rate has a negative and significant effect with a coefficient value of -0,169431.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the Income and Efficiency of Tofu Home Industry in Kunir Kidul Village, Lumajang Regency. This research is descriptive with a Case Study approach. The results of the study of Revenue Analysis and Efficiency of Tofu Industry Home in Kunir Kidul Village regarding the average income in one month was Rp. 10,920,000 / month with production costs incurred in the amount of Rp. 4,885,573 and make a profit of Rp. 6,034,427. In the calculation of business efficiency or R / C the value is 2.24. The Tofu Industry in Kunir Kidul Village can be said to be efficient and menguntungkn and feasible to run.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the contribution and examine the effect of provincial minimum wages, investment and GRDP on labor absorption in Indonesia. The data used in this study uses panel data, namely a combination of time series and cross section, in this study using 34 provinces in Indonesia in 2013-2017. This study uses the Fixed Effect test. The results showed that the highest average contribution of labor absorption was in the province of East Java, investment was in the province of West Java, the provincial GDP and minimum wages were in the province of DKI Jakarta. Meanwhile, the estimation results show that the provincial minimum wage variable has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption, the investment variable has a negative and insignificant effect on labor absorption, while the GRDP variable has a positive and significant effect on labor absorption in Indonesia.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is (1) to find out how the effect of land area and labor of the agricultural sector on rice production in East Java Districts and (2) to find out how the differences between productivity strata are related to the influence of agricultural land area and labor on rice production in Districts in East Java Province. The analytical tool used is panel data regression which is then tested by hypothesis F test, t test and coefficient of determination (R2) at the error rate α = 5%. The results of panel data regression with the selected model are Fixed Effect Model showing that the area of land has a positive and not significant effect on rice production with a value of 0.08 and labor has a significant negative effect on rice production with a value of -0.31. While the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.94 or 94%. Conclusion for East Java, the highest production strata, medium production strata and low strata production coefficient values of land area and labor variables show less than 1, which means inelastic to rice production.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Infrastructure for Road, Electricity, Water, Education, and Health Development on the economic growth of the study of the North-South Corridor of East Java Province in 2010-2017. The data used in this study is to use secondary data taken from 2010-2017. This study uses a multiple linear regression tool using panel data method by testing hypotheses such as F test, t test, and Determination Coefficient R2. Based on the results of the study, it shows that Water, Electricity and Education Development Infrastructure has an effect on economic growth in the North-South Corridor Area of East Java while Road and Health Infrastructure does not affect Economic Growth in the North Corridor- South East Java Province. Water infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Electricity infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Educational infrastructure has a positive and significant effect on economic growth. Health Infrastructure has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to have policies that can encourage infrastructure to help increase economic growth.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the determinant of the profitability of Sharia banks in ASEAN that took 3 countries, namely Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam. This study uses 24 sharia banks in 3 ASEAN countries. The sampling used in this research is the purposive sampling method, which is the uptake based on the criteria that have been established. This method of research is quantitative. The data collection method used is with the documentation. The data required is secondary data from the financial reporting data of each sharia bank in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam in 2013-2017. The data analysis technique is a data panel regression analysis technique. The results of the study showed that on average the ROE percentage of Sharia banks in Indonesia reached 0.81%. For simultaneous testing also due to the value of F-count 34.75609 ≥ F-table 3.13 Then it can be concluded that H0 rejected and H1 accepted, which means that the free variables i.e. CAR, FDR, NPF, and BOPO are influential simultaneously and together against variable bound is ROE Bank Syariah in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Brunei Darussalam in 2013-2017.

Abstract

This research aims to study the Strategy for Developing Bamboo Forest Ecotourism in Lumajang Regency. This type of research is a type of qualitative descriptive research. The source of the data used in this study is primary data. Primary data is the main research data obtained by researchers at the time researchers in the field. Primary data in this study consisted of interviews. This research was conducted in the Bamboo Forest tourism area in Lumajang Regency. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunity, Threats). The results showed that the Bamboo Forest Ecotourism in Lumajang District produced several strategies for developing the Bamboo Forest Ecotourism that included improving management systems to encourage community empowerment, collaborate with parties or travel agents, increase potential, improve infrastructure, and carry out promotions. Bamboo Forest has adequate facilities to carry out various activities. Ecotourism management is expected to add supporting infrastructure of Bamboo Forest ecotourism and maintain the ecotourism sustainability.

Abstract

This research is aimed at knowing the characteristics of member garbage insurance in Malang and the differences based on the level of cost treatment pre-and post-the garbage insurance exist. Descriptive quantitative method was used in this research and analyzed by using different test with SPSS application. The result revealed that by the existence of garbage insurance could chage the health facility in Lowokwaru district. Moreover, the public health increased, so it gave different health care cost which was significant. The differences of health care cost between pre and post the garbage insurance exist are amount 1.730.000 Rupiah. Means, every garbage insurance member on average only experience decreasing cost treatment amount 5.151 Rupiah.

Abstract

Economic growth should be directed in order to increase incomes and overcome economic disparities and social inequalities and also supported by an increase in productivity and efficiency and quality of human resources. Batik industry is one branch of the clothing and leather industry. One of the branches would observed by the author is a small batik industry, because batik is a traditional folk craft, which is one characteristic of Indonesian country and leather clothing industry branches that have a level of development prospective. This study aims to find out the factors wich affect the income of Small Batik Industry at West Pakandangan Village. Bluto sub district, Sumenep districts This study uses multiple linier regression analysis with primary data. The result show that the variable of capital (X1)significant positive effect of  0,000, labor (X2) significant positive effect of 0,001, total production (X3) significant positive effect of 0,055 and pattern share(X4) significant positive effect of 0,000 has simultaneously positive effect and significant to income. For individual, capital variable has no effect and significant at the income of Small Batik Industry at West Pakandangan Village. Bluto sub district, Sumenep districts

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of land area, labor, production facilities costs on the results of watercress production in Poncokumo District, Malang Regency in one season. The data used is primary data, which obtained through direct field interviews with 35 watercress farmers. The method in this study is quantitative. The result shows that the land area and the cost of production facilitie have a positive and significant effect on the production of watercress. While labor has a significant negative effect on the production of watercress.
