Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the Regional Original Income (PAD) per district in the province of West Nusa Tenggara. The variables used in this study are PAD, Total Population, GRDP, number of Industries, and Government Expenditures. The collection of data relating to the Total Population, GRDP, number of Industries, Government Expenditures, and Regional Original Income was obtained from BPS and DJPK in West Nusa Tenggara Province. The technique used in this study is panel data regression analysis using three methods, including the Common Effect Model, Fixed Effect Model, and Random Effect Model. The model chosen is the Common Effect Model. The results of this study indicate that the variables of Population, GRDP, number of Industries, and Government Expenditures have a significant effect on PAD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Regional Taxes, Regional Retribution, Special Allocation Funds, and the amount on District / City Regional Expenditure in East Nusa Tenggara Province for 2015 – 2019. In this study, researchers used a sampling technique whit a sampling method, amounting to 21 districts and one city, using panel data. In this study, the fixed effect method is the best model. The results of this study are local taxes, special allocation funds, and total population have a positive and significant effect on regional spending in East Nusa Tenggara Timur Province. In contrast, local charges positively and significantly affect provincial expenditure on East Nusa Tenggara Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Regional Original Income, Manpower, Domestic Investment, and General Allocation Funds on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Regencies/Cities in West Java Province for 2015-2019. The researcher used a sampling technique with the Non-Regency Method in this study. Probability Sampling using Purposive Sampling, totaling 18 districts and nine cities. This study uses panel data. In this study, the fixed effect method is the best model. The results of this study are Regional Original Income and General Allocation Funds have a positive effect on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of districts/cities in West Java Province. In contrast, Domestic Workforce and Investment have a negative and significant impact on the Gross Regional Domestic Product of Regencies/Cities in West Java Province.

Abstract

This research examines the effect of the total population, minimum wages, and economic growth against income distribution inequality. The object in the study is a residency of Malang. The research used secondary data in 2015-2019 obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics Republic of Indonesia. The data analysis technique in this research used the panel data regression analysis. The results indicate that total population and minimum wages significantly influence income distribution inequality, while economic growth has no impact on income distribution inequality.

Abstract

In national economic development, there is a gap between the growth of the workforce and the willingness of various economic sectors to absorb labor, making job opportunities still a major problem in the economy. Employment opportunities are influenced by several factors, namely the level of education, provincial minimum wage , and the number of industries. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect and analyze the variables of Education level, Provincial Minimum Wage , and Number of Industries on Employment Opportunities in East Java Province 1995-2020. This study uses the Multiple Regression analysis tool method with time series. The results of the study show that simultaneously the variables of Education Level, Provincial minimum wage, and Number of Industries have a significant effect on Employment Opportunities in East Java Province in 1995-2020. The coefficient of determination (R²) indicates that 95 percent of employment opportunities and the remaining 5 percent are explained by other variables not examined. Partially the level of education, Provincial Minimum Wage, and Number of Industries have a significant effect on Job Opportunities in East Java Province.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Regional Tax, Population, and GRDP on Regional Original Income. The data used in this study is secondary data for the 2015-2019 period. Regional Original Income is the dependent variable, while Local Tax, Population, and GRDP are independent variables. The data collection technique uses documentation study techniques. The research method used is panel data regression analysis. The results of this study are that Regional Tax has a positive and significant effect on PAD, Population has a positive and significant impact on PAD, and GRDP has a positive and significant effects on PAD.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence the open unemployment rate in the province of East Java which is measured using multiple linear regression using the SPSS application. The type of data used in this study is secondary data, namely data in the form of time series data including open unemployment, inflation, provincial minimum wages and economic growth. The data in this study were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency for East Java and the Central Indonesian Statistics Agency. The analytical method used in this study uses multiple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS software. The results of this study indicate that the inflation variable and the rate of economic growth have an effect on the open unemployment variable. Meanwhile, the Provincial Minimum Wage variable has no significant effect on the open unemployment variable.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see how the independent variables, such as population, domestic investment, and direct expenditure, affect economic growth in Central Java's Regency/City. Panel data was used, which was collected from all districts in Central Java Province between 2015 and 2019. The method used is the multiple linear regression analysis method with the panel data regression method (pooled data), which will choose the best approach. Common, fixed, and random effects use a panel data regression test, namely the Chow Test, Hausman Test, and Lagrange Multiplier Test. The study results show that the population variable has a significant effect on economic growth. The domestic investment variable has a significant impact on economic growth, and the direct expenditure variable significantly impacts economic growth. Simultaneously, the variable Number of Population, Domestic Investment, and Direct Expenditure have a positive and significant impact on Economic Growth in Central Java.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of population and human development index on poverty levels. The data used in this study is secondary data for 2017 – 2020. The poverty level is the dependent variable, while the population and human development index are independent variables. The research method used is panel data regression analysis. The result of this study is that the population has a significant positive effect on poverty while the human development index variable has a significant negative impact on poverty.

Abstract

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is a reference of GRDP in a region, where if a GRDP value in a region increases, it indicates an increase in the production process of items and services. Investment, labor force, government expenditure, and educational level are some of the indicators that can influence the changes of GRDP value in a region. The aim of this study is to analyze how the influence of Investment, Labor Force, Government Expenditure (Capital Expenditure, and High School Education Level. This study was a quantitative study using multiple linear regression analysis with time series, which was analyzed with SPSS 26 software. The results of this study show that simultaneously, variables of Investment, Labor Force, Government Expenditure (Capital Expenditure), and High School Education Level significantly influence the GRDP in East Java Province in 1990-2020. The coefficient of determination (R2) shows that 80.3 percent of variables influence employment, and the remaining 19.7% is explained by other variables not examined in this study. Partially, Investment, Labor Force, Government Expenditure (Capital Expenditure), and High School Education Level significantly influence the GRDP in East Java Province.
